So good…
Eva works for a second rate spy agency. They send her to watch Marco Cavali without full disclosure and instead shamelessly use her and repeatedly put her in harms way. When she needs them most they absolutely do not have her back and she finds herself questioning who exactly is the bad guy here Marco or her company… I received a free copy of this book. Eva has been given a mission, get close to Marco Cavali. NO problem. She doesn’t see him as an issue. Marco enjoyed the woman with at lot of fire. She would be a joy to tame. But starts off as a job for Eva leads to capture. But even worse, she doesn’t know who is using who. I have to say her boss Ben is a piece of work. I wasn’t sure at first if it was just a job but than things started to fall apart. Eva being taken and then Marco trying to tame her. I love her fight. That is something that makes her very valuable. With Marco she is freed from the world but that leads to boredom for her. And the agency is no help either. I wasn’t sure who was the good or bad guy. Everyone wanted a piece of her. But only Marco was honest about it. From the beginning you knew Ben cared nothing about Eva or what trust he was breaking. I love that she did get even with him. I have to say I laughed about during that. This was a rollercoaster of emotions for Eva. Marco knew his pet would figure everything out. That was the trust he had in her. This was crazy but fun.

I love this author and when I want a dark well written story I know that she will not disappoint. I really enjoyed this story. The characters are very well done. The reader is quickly drawn into Eva's world and her work as a spy. Her target Marco is painted as the bad guy. I enjoyed all their spicy interactions. I received an advanced reader copy of this book and am leaving an honest review. There are plenty of different elements to hold the reader's interest. This is an interesting and entertaining story.

The characters were very complex and compelling and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

The undercover spy thinks she has got her prey exactly where she wants him. But she does not have the experience her catch has and the tables have been turned before she realises, caught in her own trap. Good read.

Twisted Relationship
Eva is sent to capture Marco’s interest, a “honey-pot” to his “bad man”. But, tables are turned… and turned… and turned again… I really enjoyed this twisty, steamy, taboo story. Eva and Marco’s relationship is bonkers and should never have worked, but somehow, the ending is perfectly satisfying. An excellent read.
