Almost every day you are confronted with errors of Logic. People simply bombard Christians with totally erroneous deductions. Most of these people are not inquirers, and their basic purpose is to attack the Christian faith -- not inquiry. Just as the strongest bullet-proof glass eventually breaks down if shot at continually, you can break down on face of these errors if you do not know how to expose them.
Here is help. The book explains the limited number categories into which these seeming multitude of errors fall. Once you know them, you can confidently and INSTANTLY answer 99% of wrong interpretations.

If one is looking to examine Christianity with an open mind, don't start here. This book seems to have been thrown together quickly without much research. In one instance, the authors identify a “leading atheist” and then supply an illogical argument instead of citing an appropriate reference. The authors claim to be able to help the reader refute a “multitude of errors” but ultimately show their lack of research on the topic. The most respected critics of Christianity do not use these simple, ridiculous arguments that are used as examples in this book. It is almost laughable as there are much better apologetic writings in existence. If one is truly looking for a balanced approach to examining Christianity, this book is not a good choice.
The authors of the book had noticed that many Christians aren't familiar with the rules of logic and are therefore unable to recognize logical fallacies used by critics of Christianity. Their purpose in writing this book is to better equip Christians to defend the faith. The book contains a substantial list of logical fallacies, both informal and formal, and provides good examples. One weak point is a failure to define some terms, such as major, minor and middle term and distributed.
Personally, I don't see this book as merely preparing me to identify an opponent's logical fallacies. I don't doubt that I have in ignorance used some of these fallacies myself over the years. I value being right and use of bad logic does not support that core value. On the whole, I find the book useful.
Logically, the first book I finished reading in 2016 is "Logic and Apologetics". This is a good entry into the fray of the science of logic. It has been 16 years since I took a logic class in college and only remember scratching the surface. Now it is time for me to sharpen my mind and begin mastery of at least basic logic. This book spends most of its time showing how to spot and identify logical fallacies that so commonly appear in debates and discussions. The author uses the topic of Christian debates for his examples, but the topic of logic can be applied to any discussion.
As a passionate person for the apologetic I think this is a must reading book for people like me that are not experts on the subject. I greatly recommend this book to every person that would like to be more accurate in his or her defense to every one that comes against the truth.
