Whether you need help going through a difficult transition in your life, or you want to know the next step on your path, the images on the cards contain messages exclusively for you.
-Contains 47 Tarot exercises for every purpose, including improving relationships and meeting your guardian angel, to healing grief and finding your life purpose
-The exercises personalize the cards for each reader, so they become portals for deeper understanding of the self
-The exercises narrow down the immense data contained in the cards into an experience that is remembered

Tarot for Self Discovery was a wealth of information and had a lot of great exercises for understanding your own mind through the use of Tarot. the author is clearly well versed in both Phycology and Tarot. Although I would caution that the book is not one you can work straight through. I did not find many of the exercises beneficial but the ones I did as I enjoyed thoroughly. I have decided to rate it a little higher because I may just not be in the right phase of life to appreciate all of this book.

Tarot Card- Fool, Art of Life Deck - This book does take you on a journey through your own mind.

In truth I finished reading this one a long time back, but have left it on my reading list as I was hoping to do more of the suggested tarot exercises/spreads/writing than I've done. While many of the approaches Braden suggests appeal to me, I just haven't seemingly often been in the right frame of mind to engage with this on that level this year. I have numerous tarot books I have read and keep on hand for reference, having both learned from them and at times consulting them as reference. This one is definitely worth keeping and referring back to. Perhaps in time, I'll work more of the spreads and journaling, but for now, I'm going to return it to the shelf and just indicate that this has value in its creative approach and playful exploration of self, psychology, memory and motivation and relationships (to others, to time, to objects, etc.).

Lots of interesting exercises for any serious Tarot student. I will keep this book for further education and work on my own.
