Rate this book
They’re just two people desperate to be seen… and willing to fight for each other, even if it kills them.

Sarah Johnson
Healing isn’t easy. But falling for Alexander? That’s been effortless—magical, even. He’s opened my heart in ways I never thought possible and made me believe that true love might actually exist. I fall hard, navigating life changes, merging our worlds, and building something fragile but beautiful. Everything feels right—until his life starts unraveling.

Alexander Richardson
I had almost given up hope that anyone could thaw my frozen heart—until Sarah appeared. She made me believe happiness was possible. But just as I try to embrace our joy, the shadows of my past claw my ex-wife Hannah, a fractured relationship with my son Tyler... mistakes I thought I’d buried. Can I protect Sarah from the darkness that threatens to destroy us both...

Or will it be too late?

Wow… that ending has me in a chokehold! What?! I need book three immediately! I’m going to be thinking about what happens next until I can get my hands on it.

I really enjoyed watching the relationship between the two main characters grow and evolve throughout the story. It felt natural, and seeing them come together made the romance even more satisfying. I also loved the FMC’s character development. Watching her confront her trauma, heal, and emerge as a stronger version of herself was one of my favorite parts of the book.

And wow..this book was spicy! The chemistry between the characters was incredible, and the romance delivered in every way. Between the emotional growth, the tension, and that jaw-dropping cliffhanger, this was such an enjoyable read. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (3.75/5)

After giving Book 1 a full five stars, I went into Will You Love Me with really high expectations. There was still so much I loved about this story, especially watching Sarah and Alexander’s relationship continue to grow through heartbreak, healing, and the messy realities of life. Their emotional journey felt deeper, more mature, and I appreciated seeing them fight for each other even when everything around them seemed determined to pull them apart.

That said, this book didn’t quite hit the same way for me. One of the biggest reasons for my rating was Alexander’s behavior throughout much of the story. While I understand the author was exploring his struggles and the weight of his past, some of his choices made it difficult for me to stay as emotionally connected to him as I was in the first book. Character flaws absolutely have a place in a story, but this particular direction just didn’t resonate with me personally.
I also found some of the spicy scenes a little harder to enjoy because Alexander’s personality in those moments felt noticeably different from the version of him I’d grown attached to earlier in the series. That shift took me out of the romance at times, even though I know other readers may interpret those moments very differently.

Even with those reservations, S.K. Presley delivers an emotional, heartfelt story about love, forgiveness, and learning to let someone truly see you. Sarah remained a character I rooted for from beginning to end, and I appreciated the depth and vulnerability woven throughout the relationship.
While this installment wasn’t quite the follow-up I had hoped for, I’m still glad I experienced Sarah and Alexander’s journey. As for Book 3…I’m honestly still on the fence. Part of me wants to see where the trilogy goes, while another part feels satisfied leaving their story here. Either way, I’m grateful for the emotional ride this series has taken me on.

I received this as an ARC.

After finishing book one I was excited to continue Alexander and Sarah’s story.

I didn’t think Alexander could be more perfect. But this book proved me wrong. Alexander’s complex character continues to evolve. He has to face several of his own past situations. He also encourages Sarah to get the mental health she needs so that she can fully heal before taking their relationship to the next level. He shows so much self restraint for the majority of this book. I love how Alex is completely enamored with Sarah. Everything about her is perfect to him.

We get a glimpse of the hard growth that these two characters go through separately and together. We go through the ups and downs of a new budding relationship. The moments that are uncomfortable when the both of them are getting to know who they are in this type of relationship, because neither of them have had this type of soul bond before. There is jealousy on both sides at times and it shows just how human they are. Alex is extremely protective of Sarah, which I love and she does too.

When I tell you, the man likes to eat, he really likes to eat 😉 The spice level in this book as compared to the first is a complete 180. It was SPICY! The slow burn continues until about 65% of the way through. And it was excruciatingly delicious! The best kind of slow burn. S.K. gives us bread crumbs and I ate them up! When we finally get our reward, it’s well worth the wait.

Not only does Alex have a dirty mouth on him, he also has this incredibly strong connection to Sarah that makes my heart melt. He has this hard side but also has a tender loving side that counteracts it, continuing his complex character development from book one.

This book ends on a cliffhanger and I’m not gonna lie, I was not happy with how it ended. I have my theories, but I am already eager to read the completion of this series. I think that much will happen in it that will make me both angry and sad. These two are meant to be each other’s forever, I just know it.

Will You Love Me by SK Presley is an emotional, heart-wrenching continuation of the Romancing Me trilogy that completely pulled me in from beginning to end.

Sarah and Alexander's relationship feels authentic, messy, and beautifully human. While the first book may have introduced their connection, this installment truly tests the strength of their love. Sarah's journey of healing and self-discovery is inspiring and watching her learn to trust both herself and Alexander made her incredibly relatable. Alexander, meanwhile, is forced to confront the ghosts of his past, and his struggle to reconcile old wounds with the future he desperately wants creates some of the novel's most powerful moments.

What I loved most was how Presley doesn't shy away from difficult emotions. The story explores trauma, forgiveness, family conflict, and the complicated realities of love after heartbreak. The relationship between Alexander and his son, Tyler, added an extra layer of depth that made the emotional stakes feel even higher.

The chemistry between Sarah and Alexander is undeniable, balancing tender moments with intense passion. Their love story isn't easy, but that's exactly what makes it so compelling. Every victory feels earned, every setback hurts, and every moment of hope shines brighter because of what they've endured.

Raw, emotional, and impossible to put down, Will You Love Me is a powerful story about healing, second chances, and fighting for the people who make life worth living. If you enjoy emotionally charged romances with complex characters, heartfelt growth, and plenty of angst along the way, this book is definitely worth picking up.

I can't wait to see where the trilogy goes next.

I had the greatest honor of being a Beta reader as well as an ARC for this book and safe to say S.K. Presley has completely consumed my emotional stability with this series, and Will You Love Me somehow managed to raise the bar even higher.

What I love most about these books is that they don’t rush healing. Sarah and Alexander’s relationship isn’t built on instant fixes or magical solutions it’s built on patience, trust, vulnerability, and choosing each other again and again. Their journey feels raw, messy, and incredibly human.

The emotional depth in this story is what stood out to me the most. Every interaction carried weight, every setback felt meaningful, and every moment of tenderness felt earned. Alexander continues to prove why he’s one of the most devoted and protective book boyfriends I’ve ever read. His love isn’t loud for the sake of being possessive it’s steady, intentional, and unwavering. Sarah’s growth was equally powerful to witness. Watching her reclaim pieces of herself after everything she’s endured made me both ache and cheer for her.

The slow burn tension remains absolutely delicious, and when the emotional and romantic payoffs hit, they hit hard. I laughed, cried, swooned, and spent most of the book with my heart somewhere in my throat.

This series excels at balancing heavy themes with hope, reminding readers that healing isn’t linear and that love can exist even after unimaginable pain. If you enjoy emotionally driven romances with deeply layered characters, beautiful character growth, and a love story that feels earned every step of the way, this book is a must read.

Now excuse me while I emotionally recover and impatiently wait for the next installment.

Will You Love Me by S.K. Presley is everything I want in a romance…emotionally rich, beautifully written, and impossible to put down.

From the very first chapter, I was completely invested. The chemistry between the characters is magnetic, but what truly makes this story shine is the emotional depth. The relationships feel genuine, the dialogue flows naturally, and every moment—from the lighthearted banter to the heartfelt conversations—pulls you deeper into their journey.

This book strikes a wonderful balance between romance, humor, friendship, vulnerability, and spice. The intimate scenes are passionate without overshadowing the emotional connection, making every page feel meaningful. S.K. Presley has a way of creating characters who feel real, flawed, and incredibly easy to root for.

If you’re looking for a romance that will make you smile, swoon, laugh, and leave you thinking about the characters long after you’ve finished the final page, Will You Love Me absolutely delivers.

This is another fantastic addition to the Romancing Me series, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re already a fan of S.K. Presley or discovering her for the first time, this is a book you won’t want to miss.

Highly recommend! ❤️📚

This series just keeps getting better. 😭🖤
I really enjoyed Will You Reach For Me, but I have to say... I loved Will You Love Me even more.
The first book laid the foundation for Sarah and Alexander's story. It was heavier because of everything Sarah was experiencing, and there were moments that were genuinely difficult to read. This book still carries those emotional scars, but because the groundwork had already been laid, I felt like I could fully settle into their relationship and truly enjoy watching them grow together.
The slow burn is still very much burning... but when it finally ignites? It hits. ❤️‍🔥
What I love most about this series is that the healing feels just as important as the romance. Sarah and Alexander aren't perfect people—they're two broken people trying to love each other while carrying the weight of their pasts. That made every happy moment feel earned.
And then... that ending.
S.K. Presley completely shattered my heart and left me desperately needing Book 3. If you're looking for an emotional romance with healing, heartbreak, and characters you'll become deeply invested in, this series absolutely deserves a spot on your TBR.
Now excuse me while I impatiently wait to find out what happens next. 😭

I adored the first book in this series and I was so lucky to have an ARC for both the first and second book. I loved watching Sarah and Alexander find their groove as a couple and strive to create a peaceful and safe foundation that they both desperately needed. Their work to set boundaries, learn each other and make a continuous effort is so heartwarming and sweet. I hope that ex-wife of Alexander's never shows up again, however, I love that Alexander's relationship with his son has continued to be a plot point. Sarah's trauma and healing process, as well as Alexander's, resonates with me alot and I respect how gracefully S.K. Presley succeeds as protraying these characters accurately as survivors who deserve to find love and can heal on thier own terms as all who may experience the same abuse as Sarah and Alexander did in their seperate marriages. I think I might lose it in the best way if Alexander and Sarah get married or have a child, I can't wait!!!!

I received this book as an advanced copy from the author.

This is the second book in a series. It picks up exactly where the first book left off. We watch Alex encourage Sarah into finding herself after the trauma of her past. We are excruciatingly teased with a slow burn that makes you want to both throw the book across the room, but the teasing scenes also make you want to clench the sheets with your fists.

This book includes a lot of wide-open door spice as Alex and Sarah finally begin to explore each other and their sexual needs and identity with each other. And while we begin to see glimpses into the trauma of Alex's past, I don't know that I could have ever guessed the cliffhanger this book left off at. My heart is officially cracked open and I need to see how this all resolves with book 3.

Will You Love Me is an excruciating slow burn that will have you throwing your book across the room!

Book 2 of the Romancing Me series picks up right where we left Sarah and Alex in book 1. Throughout this installment there is some crazy sexual tension, lots of trust built, and a lot of trust being broken.

This story feels like a real relationship. They encounter real life issues based on each person's past, but they never give up on each other. The trauma and healing both of the MCs have experienced, and are working through are in the forefront. Presley doesn't glaze over their issues and shows that not everything is solved as quickly as we often see in these types of books.

When you read this book, make sure you have tissues and a strong drink close by.

Will You Love Me was an emotional continuation of Sarah and Alexander’s story, diving into themes of healing, past wounds, and finding love while carrying the weight of everything that came before. I appreciated the vulnerability and emotional depth throughout the story, and there were moments that highlighted the characters growth and struggles. However, I found myself having a hard time fully connecting with the story and the characters’ journey overall, which made it difficult for me to become as invested as I hoped.
I can see why readers who enjoy intense, emotional romances filled with angst, healing, and complicated characters would connect with this series. The story does end on a cliffhanger that I definitely wasn’t expecting, leaving plenty to wonder about what happens next.

I am at a complete and utter loss for words having just finished this book!! We are gonna need book 3 like immediately. I’m so hurt, lost and broken. I just can’t. first I fucking hate Hannah. I kinda hate Tyler and now I kinda hate Alex. There has to be more of this story, up until like 90% of this book I was thinking that Alex was the absolute perfect man and the way he was so patient with her and then what he just did. I literally cannot SK what are you doing to us? We need this book like now OK also what’s with her dad? And his grandfather too??? So many questions. Thank you for the opportunity to read this it’s really amazing and such a privilege.

This book will have you wanting to throw it across the room at the end.

The second book in the Romancing Me series, this one hit as much as the first one, if not more. Presley has such a way with words that makes you feel alive and connected with the characters.

The characters you will find in this story are raw, and real-the slow burn, open door spice is everything.

The relationship between Alexander and his family was so monumental, along with Sarah and what happened in her past.

I need the third book now.

Thank you to S.K. Presley for the ARC opportunity!

Will You Love Me is a beautifully emotional story about healing, hope, and learning to trust again. Sarah’s journey was raw and heartfelt, and Alex was the perfect balance of patient, protective, and supportive. Their slow-burn romance felt authentic and had me rooting for them from beginning to end.

This story made me laugh, cry, and feel every emotion in between. Be sure to check the trigger warnings, but if you love emotional romances with incredible character growth and a well-earned happily ever after, I highly recommend this one!

This book wrecked me in the best way.

The characters were messy, flawed, and impossible not to root for. The chemistry was incredible, the emotional tension was off the charts, and every heartbreak hit exactly where it needed to.

I laughed, I got frustrated, I may have wanted to throw my Kindle once or twice, and I loved every minute of it. If you love emotional romances that make you feel everything, this one is absolutely worth the read.

I was lucky enough to read both Book 1 and Book 2 as an ARC.
I fell in love with these characters in book 1 and was so excited for book 2. It is definitely a slow burn. And when it ignited it was many chili peppers. The healing journey is beautiful to watch. And then came the last page…. I felt sucker punched! So now I will be impatiently waiting for book 3 to release! I’m excited to see what happens next.

OMG this book and series!!! If you love romances that make you cry, swoon, and stay awake long after you've finished "just one more chapter," the Romancing Me series is one you'll be thinking about for days. Prepare for heartbreak, healing, and a hero who will do everything he can to protect the woman he loves.

Are you kidding me????

I am so drawn to the way S.K Presley writes. Her descriptions, the dialogue, the beautiful representation of a black woman and how she navigates healing, her career, and being fully loved without having to sacrifice for it. This 2nd book takes you on that journey.

In some ways, this book has had me looking within on how I approach relationships and figuring out how do I maintain ME but make room for someone else. To allow someone else to provide. To open up your heart after heartbreak and abuse. It’s just beautifully written. I thought my kindle broke when I got to the last page, it couldn’t be the end of this book. It COULDN’T be. The frustration I have for Hannah is unspeakable and I’m craving the 3rd book immediately.

I’m concerned with how Alex’s character crumbles in the last few pages and how they’re going to heal from just this alone. It feels like betrayal after all he’s done to win Sarah over. Just wow. 5 stars. I’m in LOVE with this authors style and the world she’s built. A MUST read
