He's desperate for the truth. Only an amnesiac has the answers.

When Max Montgomery finds a car washed up on the river bank in the middle of a winter storm—the very same car his daughter disappeared in over three years ago—he has no idea that an unknown enemy lurks close by, waiting to strike. Desperate to find out what happened to his daughter, he approaches the vehicle and discovers an unconscious woman and a ferocious wolf inside. Locked somewhere inside the woman’s amnesiac brain are clues to what happened to her, and possibly Max’s daughter.

After an online search of missing persons, they discover the woman’s name: Jennie Jones. As evil creeps closer, Max begins to suspect this is not about Jennie—it’s about him.

Tormented by the past and his distrust of Jennie, Max fights his attraction to her, determined not to let her get too close. But he needs Jennie’s help to uncover the truth.

A truth that might well destroy him.

NOTE: All books in this series are loosely connected stand-alones. Each book is a full-length novel with a conclusion (no cliffhangers at the end). Due to some adult language and situations, the books in this series are recommended for readers ages 18 and up.

This is a fantastic book. While a quick read, it lacked nothing. Excitement from the beginning and hold your breath, sit on the edge of your seat drama filled this from front cover to back. I especially liked it because I wasn't able to figure it out right away. I feel cheated when I get a quarter or half way through and know who the bad guy is and this book was not that way. It took you on a journey and you are present the whole way through.

What an imagination Mrs. Georgeson has. The incredible details that were necessary to pull this off, and the rhythm of the book just flowed so well. It wasn't off or jerky it was a smooth read all the way through.

I will let you read the synopsis for yourself because I'm always afraid when I try to do that I will mess the book up for someone, but the lives of these characters are forever changed and it is going to take them all to heal. You will not be disappointed in this read. If you are like me and like mystery, action, romance and thriller books you are going to find this to be a big hit no matter what category you put it in.

Didn't think I could like book two better than the first but I was wrong. Now, I look extra forward to book three.

I thought this was a really great, quick read. Once I started reading the book, I struggled with putting it down... Especially around chapter 15. I think the author did a good job developing the characters and keeping the reader on his/her toes.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Leslie Georgeson has once more done it. Brief glimpses into the antagonist's mind gives us teasing sneak peeks, and this gives the reader clues as to their identity. But it's not confirmed until almost the end of the book.

There were also no quiet moments. It started off very quickly and never slowed down. You'll quickly find yourself reading through and begging for no interruptions so that you can find out what happens next. It didn't take me long to finish reading Abducted and the only reason it did take me as long as it did was because I had school and meals to eat.

Both Max and Jennie were complicated and the glimpses into their heads allowed a slight unraveling of how their minds worked. Both have survived something that many would find it hard to do. They aren't only surviving but they're trying to find out what happened even when the going gets tough. This makes them very admirable characters.

Leslie Georgeson has created another marvelous book in her Unlikely Heroes series and I look forward to reading more from her!

Romance and Suspence! Max has had a hard time for a long time. His daughter was abducted, his wife died and he crawled into a bottle and let his Vet business go. But things are about to change. In the middle of a brutal blizzard gunshots ring out and while Max would just as soon ignore them, his dog Lucky, who is pretty special, won't let him. Off they go into the blizzard to find a car off the road and in the freezing river. But this isn't any car, it belonged to him at one time and the last time he saw it, his daughter was in it. But the woman behind the wheel is not his daughter, but who is she and where did she come from.
There are so many twists and turns in this book, I stayed up to finish it. Great book and look forward to reading the rest of the series!

Teenage abduction so beware.

This is an excellent suspense novel, yes I cried, yes I laughed also. Meet Lucky and Grey, a dog, and a wolf! Meet a horse whisper, who is like Doctor Doolittle and can talk to animals. Than meet a man, a veterinarian. Whose daughter was went missing, and his wife committed suicide. It all, comes together in an excellent read, not a sci-fi read. This is what is happening next door. So real,.
