Very basic intro to hacking and hacking concepts.

Good but very basic intro into hacking and hacking concepts. Gives a couple of tools and ideas. To A person unfamiliar with hacking this is a good place to start

Bland book with very little to offer if you are more than remotely online. It also doesn't cover some of the best ways to protect access and doesn't cover drive by hijacking. Not worth the read.

Lots of typos here and there (though some may be intentional, I think... :-) ).

MOST excellent in terms of covering the basics and keeping things simple!!!

I'm keeping this one nearby for reference as I dust off my rusty skills...and pick up some new ones!!

I highly recommend this one!! :-)

Great starter book. Well written and organized. Definitely recommend.

Covers a lot of ground quickly. Good, memorable anecdotes. Many good tips. Definitely recommend in your hacker library. Good references to further knowledge.

While I am most of what I should not be according to the book, it is a pleasantly brief introduction to definitions and stuff for anyone who wants to know a bit about this and that.

SIlly nonsense

Just a cursory overview of the topic. Not worth reading in my humble opinion. Still looking for something useful. Suggestions?
