About the author

After studying Fine Art, Printmaking at Glasgow School of Art and Royal College of Art, Jill Dow became an illustrator specialising in natural history subjects. She illustrated four ecology books written for children by David Bellamy, and then became an author herself. She wrote and illustrated eight Windy Edge Farm stories, and also illustrated Songbird Story, written by Michael Rosen.

Angus is worried when is bantam friend is missing. Where can she be? Eventually she is found with some little fluffy surprises tucked under her wings!

Beautiful stories for children who like a bit more text to their stories or those looking for beginner readers with nice animal illustrations.
