Always an adventurer in life as well as writing, New York Times best-selling author Cherry Adair moved halfway across the globe from Cape Town, South Africa to the United States in her early years to become a interior designer. Now a resident of the Pacific Northwest she shares the award- winning adventures of her fictional T-FLAC counter terrorism operatives with her readers.

Cherry settled in beautiful San Francisco, where she started what eventually became a thriving interior design business. "I loved being a designer because it was varied and creative, and I enjoyed working with the public." A voracious reader when she was able to carve out the time, Cherry found her brain crowded with characters and stories of her own. "Eventually," she says, "the stories demanded to be told."

When asked why she chooses to write romantic action adventure, she says, "Who says you can’t have adventure and a great love life? Of course if you’re talking about an adventurous love life, that’s another thing altogether. I write romantic suspense coupled heart-pounding adventure because I like to entertain, and nothing keeps readers happier than a rollercoaster read, followed by a happy ending."

Popular on the workshop circuit, Cherry gives lively classes on writing and the writing life. Pulling no punches when asked how to become a published writer, Cherry insists, "Sit your butt in the chair and write. There's no magic to it. Writing is hard work. It isn't for sissies or whiners."

Cherry loves to spend time at home. A corner desk keeps her focused on writing, but the windows behind her, with a panoramic view of the front gardens, are always calling her to come outside and play. Her office has nine-foot ceilings, a fireplace, a television and built-in bookcases that will house approximately 3,500 paperback books.

"What can I say? My keeper shelf has been breeding in the middle of the night, rather like drycleaners' wire clothes hangers.”

This is classic Cherry Adair yet, even better!
Once I started this book, I didn't want to put it down!
This book is about Riva Rimaldi, a T-FLAC operative who crash lands in a small country in South America on her way to take out a drug lord. When she wakes up, she meets a man named Sin Diaz. He is supposedly the kingpin of the rival territory of the man she was sent to kill.
This book keeps you wondering from start to finish just who each character really is and what type of person they are. Good or bad? Good question. You can't stop reading because you just HAVE TO KNOW!!!
I have to say that the whole book was fascinating, extremely fast-paced and leaving you hanging onto every single page until the last!!
DO NOT MISS THIS BOOK!!!!!
You won't be sorry you read it. You'll think it's one of the best books you have ever read. I did!

I started this book as the next in line in the T-FLAC Series, but things just didn't seem to flow for this book. Turns out that you should read Hush first as it is that book that lays the groundwork for Gideon. So, I've paused this book and am reading Hush. Now I can properly review this book. No one writes Romance-Action-Adventure better than Cherry Adair. She blends a hot, hot romance with edge of your seat action. Here we have the setting of a jungle in South American and a chase through the jungle makes this over the top for adventure. The heroine Riva is an injured soul and the hero, Sin/Gideon just gets her and together they just fit.

Sin Diaz is a nasty baddie, at least that is what his Mama and everyone else in the camp tell him anyway. Sin - he has no memory of anything before he woke up in the camp five months ago. He slowly comes to realize that the things he was told don't match the snippets of memory he has.

Riva Rimaldi is a T-FLAC operative whose mission is to find out what cartel leader Escobar Maza has planned and then to kill him. Taking on the identity of Maza's physic, she is on her way to his camp when her helicopter crashes and she is captured by Sin Diaz. The intel on Diaz is that he is bad, really bad. But she finds that the man is not what he is reported to be, and Riva has the strange feeling that she knows he is not what everyone says he is.

When things so south at the camp, Riva and Sin escape and continue her mission to find Maza, with Mama hot on their trail. Sin knows he is not the man everyone told him he was, and Riva agrees. Together they will need to stop Mama and her thugs from killing them and find and deal with Maza, while battling their intense sexual attraction and themselves.

Gideon by Cherry Adair

Edge-of-your-seat action packed suspense with repetitive running, shooting, killing, and wild monkey sex. A familiar and successful Adair formula. A race through the jungle against the enemy and nature. An emotional roller coaster as well.

I loved this book! Action, adventure and strong sexual chemistry. And of course, an HEA.

Gideon has lost his memories but not his innate goodness. Riva is a tough and competent TFLAC agent but has an instant sexual reaction to Gideon even though he is introduced as a terrorist. They need to work together to save themselves and the innocents.

“Gideon lifted their joined hands to kiss her knuckles. The brush of his mouth on her skin felt as though she’d just walked through pure sunshine. Odd. Disconcerting. Annoying that her heart skipped an ecstatic beat for no real reason.”
Excerpt From: Adair, Cherry. “Gideon.” Adair Digital.

The detail on the varieties of the trees, plant life, vines, flowers and predators (animals, snakes, spiders etc) was well researched and used to advantage. At one point in the story, the characters have found a building covered in vines and realize that it's been standing for many years based on the circumference of the vines themselves. I've no interest in traipsing through a jungle, but the descriptions in this book made me feel as if I've safely visited one.

I received a copy of this book from the author.

Best-selling author Cherry Adair is back with her latest T-FLAC novel and we the reader finally get resolution about the events at the end of Hush. Yes we really do find out what happened to Gideon Stark and were he has been.

From the first page the action starts and before you know it you are on a fast moving ride that is absolutely relentless. Make sure you have your LockOut suits on and hold on for a bumpy ride.

Of course it's a T-FLAC novel and a Cherry Adair book, so there's lots of running, shooting, bad guys, monkey sex, more running, shooting and monkey sex. Fans would be disappointed if there wasn't.

Oh and let’s not forget the sexy as sin kick ass operatives. Cue the swoon.

I’m not going to be a spoiler wench here and give anything away. This is a book you definitely need to read without spoilers. Read it as a stand-alone or read it after devouring Hush, either way you will be glad you read it.

This book proves why this author is at the top of her field. Once you’ve read T-FLAC you will be hooked. I have been for a long time.

Gideon is a must read for all Cherry Adair fans, plain and simple.

Gideon has lost his memory and unsure if he can trust those around him. He was told that he is a heartless terrorist. Rita learned a long time ago not to trust anyone. She is a good and tough TFLAC agent. Once they meet, there is chemistry. They both fight it for a bit since these feelings confuse them. Once they begin to trust each other, Rita realizes who he really is. In order for them both to survive and to save innocents, they have to work together.

LOVED this book! I loved the fast-paced action and suspense. I actually even cried in a couple of the more dramatic scenes. I think that really speaks to the author's genius in crafting a well-told story. Another WINNER, Cherry Adair!

GIDEON by Cherry Adair is a fast paced, action packed Romantic Suspense. #2 in the "Lodestone" series, but can be read as a stand alone. I would suggest reading #1 "Hush", just because this is an outstanding series, thus far. Another, T-FLAC novel. Thrills and chills, twists and turns, as well, passion, suspense, and romance. A roller- coaster of a thrill ride from beginning to the end and beyond.

Well written with tantalizing scenes, vivid descriptions, charismatic characters, adventure, action, and of course a track through the Jungle with an enemy on their trail (the reader can almost taste, feel and smell the Jungle). The H/H is awesome, oh wait, they are engaging, charismatic, energetic and did I mention passionate, in more ways than just sex. Although, the sensual tension is just as awesome, as well. A keeper! Another hit from another awesome Romantic Suspense author! Well done! I look forward to the next installment of this high-octane adventure. The T-FLAC team is a tough as nails unit. Another hit from Cherry Adair. Highly recommended for Romantic Suspense fans and anyone who enjoys a thrill-ride packed full of action, romance and love. Any more heat and action and the pages would be on fire. Simply, breathless and priceless!! If you only pick up one Romantic Suspense, this month, let it be "Gideon", you will not regret your choice!

If you are all set to sit down, relax, have a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy a good book, then again turn to Cherry Adair and her T-FLAC group. Gideon is full of suspense and intrigue with the reader never knowing from one page to the other where you are going. During the journey you will find of romance, some paranormal happenings and some heart wrenching scenes of Gideon trying to find his way "again." Cherry Adair has never disappointed me in her books and she has proven again what "Best Selling Author" means when said behind a name. Well done, Cherry, well done!

It's finally time to find out where Gideon has been! I'm not going to tell you, I'm going to make you read it and find out for yourself. He and Rita try to avoid their attraction, realize that they are going to have to trust each other in order to get out of the jungle alive.
Another Cherry Adair T-Flac novel that takes you on a roller coaster ride with Gideon Stark. Hot hot hot like all of Cherry's books.
This can be read after Hush or all by its lonesome. Another red hot page turner from Cherry!!!

Cherry Adair's newest T-FLAC novel delivers exactly what you would expect it to; lots of action, adventure and hot sex. I really love the T-FLAC series and Gideon is no exception. Riva and Gideon are great characters and draw you into the story from the very first page. Between the helicopter crashes, drug lords, steamy jungles and loss of memory, tension abounds. Once you're on this roller coaster of a story you can't stop until the end.

Gideon was well worth the wait!
I couldn't put it down and what fantastic action and oh my, the sexual tension between Gideon and Riva is...well, tense. ;)
Anther flawlessly written book by Cherry Adair.
I highly recommend you also read Hush, which is the first book featuring Zak Stark, Gideon's brother, which is also the first book in Cherry's Lodestone series.

A fabulous romantic suspense, thriller and adventure. Quite long and a reissue of an older book. There are lots of steamy sex scenes, all set in the hot and muggy South American jungle. There's mud, insects, snakes, wild animals, many bad men, blood and gore, terrorists and a gripping and intense story. My only complaint was a few annoying typos. It's a good idea to read Zak's story (Hush) first, to understand the brothers' background and the reason behind Sin/Gideon's injury. It's not necessary to this plot though, as this book stands alone and doesn't mention events that happen in the previous book . 4.5 stars. ❤

Finally we found out what happened to Gideon Stark! What a ride. Talk about a workout and that is just reading the book. Riva a T-Flac operative sent in to find Maza, find out his plan then take him out. Easy! Never. Crushed lands into the jungle. Then the fun begins capture by just as menacing Sin Diaz. So she has to escape him and find Maza in the jungle of Cosio. Think Lara Croft and half way there with this kick ass Riva who on a time clock to stop a madman and the only one can give her the help she needs is Sin. Nothing is what it seems with the twists and turns we once more go on amazing ride. Another great book by Cherry Adair. The book of Hush started it all I would advise to read that first if you haven't mind you this is a stand alone book as well. Both great books that take you on a wild ride of action, thrills and spills and strong attractions that can't be ignored. As Cherry's says running, chasing, shooting, wild monkey sex and believe me there is plenty of that! This is Cherry Adair at her best. From Mercenary to Cutter Clay to Wizards to the T-Flac team you can always be guaranteed a wonderful wild ride of excitement, hot pulsating sex, twists and turns to keep you guessing to the end. I love Cherry's books.
Another great book by Cherry Adair :)

Once again, Cherry Adair takes us on a fabulous adventure with her latest release, Gideon! This book is full of edge of your seat action, adventure, and lots of jungle lovin!

The long-awaited Gideon picks up where Hush left off, although it IS a stand-alone book and can be read as such. While on an OP to take out Escobar Maza, Riva comes across another famed drug czar, Sin Diaz. Could this person possibly be Gideon Stark, presumed dead while on an adventure in the jungle? Riva aims to find out.

What can I say about this installment of Cherry Adair's T-FLAC books that hasn't been said before....Fun, exciting , edge of your seat action, hot monkey sex, guns, bad guys, good guys, Gideon is a fantastic book that I just couldn't put down!

I won this book through GoodReads FirstReads Giveaway Program in exchange for an honest review. Thanks so much!

This is the first book I've read by this author, and I'm happy to say I've found a new author to read! I love her writing style, the easy flow while reading, the way she describes things, etc.

This book was not boring. There is action from the start, and it continues throughout the whole book. But the best was the romance. The sizzling hot chemistry between these two, omg! They fight it at first, but they can't ignore the pull they feel towards each other. Both characters were badasses. I loved everything about them, especially Gideon. Hottest alpha male ever!

Great read. 5 stars!

Gideon...where oh where have you been since HUSH???
Well this is book 2 in the Lodestone series. Sin Diaz is the head of a cartel in the jungle. No memories of a past..just the last few months.Riva Rimaldi is on a helicopter headed for a crash into Sin's jungle. Her training as a T-flac operative is all the training she needs until she finds herself attracted..too attracted? to this very attractive man. This is a fast moving adventure from page one until the end! I couldn't put it down. It is hot and heavy and Riva is a powerhouse strong enough to maintain herself with the ever powerful Sin!!!

Wow! This was yet another breathtaking novel by the wonderful author Cherry Adair! The intricate plot and the relationship that developed between the hero and heroine under dangerous, even deadly, circumstances is very well written. There are breath holding moments in the story that I just loved! If you like adventure and suspense in well written romance, then you will just love this book! Another great book by this author!

I absolutely LOVED Gideon! It's full of twists & turns, action, suspense & romance. I love the connection that Sin (Gideon) and Graciella (Riva) have. Sin doesn't trust anyone and even questions himself and who he is. Riva is a psychic agent for T-Flac, who's helicopter crashed on her way to complete her mission and was found alive by Sin in the wreckage. He feels compelled to protect her despite the stories of his violent & heartless nature and they end up on the run together. This book was hard to put down! I stayed up late reading it and payed for it when I had to get up for work in the morning but it was well worth it!

Currently reading and so far it rocks!!! Will update once I am done but Sin (?) and Riva are great. Great build and back story as to what has taken place so far!! <3 ing it!
OMG I just finished it.. Probably my all time favorite book by this author. I LOVE LOVE LOVE how she combined T-Flac and Lodestone! You get to see some favorites from both series. The story is fast paced with a lot of twists and turn and some off the charts chemistry between Riva and Gid (Sin). I only wish I could've read it faster but alas I had to work :( This book is a great read. Can't wait for more!!!

I loved this follow-up to Hush (Lodestone Book 1). It can be read as a stand-alone, but it helps if you do read Hush first! This book is fast paced, and will keep you guessing from beginning to end. I loved both Riva and Sin. Both are not simple characters; they have layers. Cherry Adair is great at weaving their story and making you fall in love with both of them as they go through one adventure after another!

Another fabulous read from Cherry Adair! It feels like I have been waiting in suspense forever to finally know what happened to Gideon. Cherry does not dissapoint in the 2nd Lodestone book. Action and adventure from page 1. The descriptions in the book made it easy for me to feel like I was right there with Gideon and Riva. This is definitely a book you won't won't to take a break reading from so make sure you have no plans when you start it :)

Too unbelievable and just too much going on.
The crossover to T-FLAC book but just too much going on.
I really wanted to find out what happens to Gideon, the missing, supposedly dead and grieved for brother from HUSH.
The brother has returned but he of course has amnesia, such an easy trope to use. Does not remember his real life and is now apparently a powerful drug cartel lord. WTH!
I am not sure why I kept reading this once I pieced this together but I did.
It followed to same path as her other books. Action, bad guys, hot good guys, people getting dead, sex at the most unbelievable times and places and not much romance factor.
This one was pretty dark and gruesome with a very OTT plot that seem to have everything thrown into it. The bomb, the bracelet and the fact the head bad guy had a boss above him to continue the crap fest was annoying.
The heroine Riva, is a T-FLAC operative and is quite a cold fish emotionally. This is put down to childhood trauma and lack of trust issues. I just didn’t warm to her.
The ending wrapped up in such a way as to make me roll my eyes vigorously. Bracelet is removed in the nick of time. Gideon/Sin gets his memory back, just in time for him and Zak, the brother from HUSH, to defuse a massive thermobaric bomb. Amazing how they had the knowledge to do so, when they made their fortune with computers and an internet platform.
Read many years ago, review is missing. Reread through Kindle Unlimited.

I could not make it even to page 100. My first warning bell was that by page 5 I had already been subjected to at least three acronyms that I was apparently supposed to remember. The South American jungle setting seemed quite well done. The people were not. They were so very, very not well done.

By page 86 I felt a great disinclination to keep reading, I did not believe in either of the main characters. There was no care factor as to what happened to them. The plot was clumsy and there was nothing sexy about the interactions between our totally unbelievable, main characters. The book in general desperately, DESPERATELY needed editing and grammar checks. By page 86 I had lost count of howmanywords had missed on being separated. A lot, I would not bother with just one or two. The paper quality is so poor that the lines of print can be read on the backing page also.

I tried to hang on for a bit since I was mildly curious to find out who 'Sin' was, since right from the beginning the clumsy writting was making it clear that he was not who he seemed. Eventually I skipped to the end to read the conclusion, it was unsurprising and no better written that the start.

Very pleased I did not slog through all 443 pages.

Super tough action with extreme emotion, wow!

This has got to be the most emotion that I have seen in a Cherry Adair story. It has T-FLAC and tells us what really happened to Gideon after the end of Hush. The scenes are very tough, as is usual for CA. The action goes through to the very end of the story. Rival is a fascinating, complex character, as is Gideon. Holy cow! You pretty much have to remind yourself to breathe while you deal with the actions and twists and turns in this story. If that sounds like a good story to you, you have to read Hush (enhanced) first. You don't have to have read T-FLAC series first, but there are a number of familiar faces from that series. I say read them all and hold onto your hat, it's gonna be a bumpy ride! Enjoy!
