“My last name is Culver, sir. My father is Tank Culver. Of the Cold Steel Motorcycle Club.”
Part two of the Cold Steel MC series by Meg Jackson...
The Vegas trip is over. Samantha is back home. She didn't expect Boon to follow her.
But everything went wrong the second Samantha's father saw him. He burst out of the house, shotgun in hand. And he had a very good reason to be mad.
Ten years ago, something horrible happened. Something that Boon kept secret from Samantha. But now everything needs to come to the surface, or their relationship will be destroyed for good. Which might be for the better, as Boon's dark history could put Samantha's life in danger.
The Biker's Past can't stay secret forever.
This 20,000+ word explicit novella is the second part of the Cold Steel MC Trilogy.
The previous book 'The Bikers Touch' ended on a cliffhanger and I couldn't wait to start this book, after their vacation in Vegas the girls are home, Samantha, Becky and Alicia but it would appear that Samantha brought more than just the usual gifts home with her, Boon followed her and she's not the only one surprised by her father's reaction but then we should have known since Boon did mention being in Missoula at one time. Samantha's dad is furious and once we hear why we understand, who am I kidding we understood anyway what dad, particularly a sheriff wants a tattooed bad boy biker to follow his daughter home from Vegas but there's more to this story. I liked this book more than the previous one, 'Touch' was the introduction, letting us get to know the girls, their relationship and bond we were also there when Samantha met Boon and on the whole it was a lighter read but this book is Boon and Samantha, do they stand a chance, do they want a chance or did they just have a quick vacation fling. The cliffhanger is huge so be warned. This is another short read and while I don't particularly like that authors nowadays seem to write one book then split it up to sell separately it doesn't matter to me in this case since the next and final part is available on kindle unlimited, so no waiting.
I liked the story line...and the author did an ok job with the characters. It's the good girl meets the big bad biker story line. She did a good job filling in the outline of all characters and letting you make up your own mind about what happened. I liked the first book and got this the second book. It's a good read.
The second novella in a trilogy, I was so excited that Boon showed up at Samantha's house!! YAY!! But when Samantha's dad pulls a shotgun on him, lots of questions are brought to the surface. This book was super short! I felt like I had just started reading it, and BAM! it was over! I did like how we got to know a little more about Boon and the was he grew up.
