Here's what some readers like you are saying about the Billy and Monster David Chuka has created a world that both parents and children can relate to. In this tale, he describes a scenario that most children have gone through. What do I do when I get a gift that I don't like? Children know they are suppose to be polite, but they also know that they are not suppose to lie. The book has a very sweet message about the important things in life (such as being together as a family). I would recommend this book for any parent who would like a story to read to their child before a holiday. BreAnn M Fennell My eleven year old grandson laughed so hard we were all in tears over his reaction. His two year old sister sat in rapt attention as it was read aloud. In other words it was a big hit at our house. Amazon Customer "Big Joe M." My daughter has really been enjoying David Chuka's Billy and Monster books. This is another fun addition to the "family." As always, the story has a lovely moral (this time teaching the value of moderation - definitely the biggest word in the book)! It's based on the very realistic theme of overindulging in chocolate/sweets, which virtually anyone can relate to and which kids find a lot of fun. And, awesome pictures as always. Definitely recommend it. Renee Bradman I almost can't get my son to QUIT reading this book! Of course any book with the word "fart" in the title is going to get a boy's attention, and he reads it to his little sister all the time.
David Chuka lives in London with his lovely wife and two adorable children. His family are usually the first people to hear his funny and quirky tales. While he has written non-fiction material previously, he is absolutely proud to be called a children's book author. He loves writing stories that educate and entertain.
As a father himself, he has parents at heart when he writes. Bedtime has to be one of the best parts of the day for him as it gives him the opportunity to bond with his little ones. He believes you'll enjoy sharing his stories with your loved ones.

He has so many stories to tell and can't wait to share them with the world.
This is a very cute series for kids but beware the fart jokes. Mr. Burgess did a great job narrating and adding in the appropriate sounds for the ‘monster’ that many kids will likely try to imitate. That said, I loved that the series is several short stories that are easier for children to digest and that they teach lessons. I really appreciate that Mr. Chuka made sure that the lessons learned in one book were utilized in the next.
I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.
Listened to this audiobook. As a boy mom these books are super cute. Farts and Burps. Monster learning lessons. I cannot wait for my son to be old enough to listen to these and laugh with me. ❤️
"An Educational and Fun Read For Parents and Children"
This is truly a wonderful collection of young children's stories which will make you and the child laugh out loud. Billy has an invisible friend he calls Monster. Whatever Monster does, Billy is blamed for it. But in the first story ("Billy & The Monster Who Loved to Fart"), Billy eats a big breakfast which causes many fart explosions ... in his classroom! But Dad understands and advises Billy how to handle Monster. These stories show children good manners and consideration for others. All the stories are delightful, humorous, well written, and the illustrations are colorfully very cute. I applaud David Chuka for his creativity and his sense of reality and humor. I'm sure his children give him all kinds of ideas to fill many children stories in the future. Great Stories!
These stories define words that adults may use, and children may not understand. These stories also have a lesson to go with them, that children can learn from. I am not a fan of the burping and farting parts of the stories.
