Meb Faber's Investing in America takes one of the great wealth-creation stories in history and makes it engaging and practical. He blends history, market data, and investing wisdom to explain how America became such a powerful engine of economic growth, and what investors can learn from that today.

The book is optimistic without being naive and sophisticated without requiring an investment background. Most valuable is the perspective it offers. Markets reliably produce uncertainty, pessimism, and reasons to believe "this time is different." Meb reminds readers of the adaptability American businesses, entrepreneurs, and capital markets have shown across generations.

Whether you invest professionally or just want to understand how wealth compounds over the long term, this is an insightful and enjoyable read. Highly recommended.

A stunning book, as gorgeous to page through as it is to read. Faber makes a compelling case that America's 250-year bull run isn't luck. It's a compounding machine built on innovation, demographics, and durable institutions.

The charts alone are worth the price of admission, and the historical sweep from the Buttonwood Agreement to today is genuinely fun to read. Equal parts investing wisdom and love letter to American markets. Highly recommend for any long-term investor, or anyone who wants a beautiful book on their coffee table that will actually get picked up.

Great book to gift to an investor, whether or not they are an investment professional.

Investing in America is an engaging look at the history of U.S. markets, told through great visuals, data, and stories. It makes investing history approachable and interesting without feeling overly technical. It’s easy to pick up and flip through, but there’s also plenty to learn if you want to spend more time with it. A really unique book for anyone interested in investing, markets, or American economic history.

Investing in America by Meb Faber puts 250 years of markets into perspective. Wars, crashes, bubbles and uncertainty came and went—ownership, innovation and compounding endured.

A great read and even better perspective.

Wonderful synopsis and promotion of the American Stock Market. This book combines classic literature with powerful examples of the importance of staying invested. This book is great for the Elementary and Middle School ages all the way through a professional financial advisor.

I usually hate finance books, money and investing has always bored me a little bit but the way Meb writes makes this book funny and easy to understand despite covering some complex time periods in Americas history. Illustrations are also beautifully done.

Would definitely recommend if you want something that's as much a piece of décor as it is a good read.
