In this second installment of Lane One, we continue to watch Cassie and Theo get closer. They begin to learn each other as well as themselves. Secrets are revealed and revelations are made.
“This is a brand new Cassie. She’s confident, feels sexy in her size ten curves, and is ready to finally lose her virginity.”
I loved the improvements in Cassie’s self-confidence! The connection between the two of them is intense.
“I’ve never had this kind of connection with anyone. It’s like we’re two magnets and the minute I met him our magnets connected, refusing to be pulled apart.”
I enjoyed how open Theo was being and how he was trying to do things differently with Cassie. I especially loved his journal entries. Of course, he was also still crass and vulgar Theo at times, which I also loved!
“She’s doing the backstroke, which is my favorite stroke to watch her do because it pushes her breasts out of the water. They’re beautifully glistening and I can imagine my dick sliding between the curves as she pushes her breasts together. Great. And now I’m hard.”
The scenes between the two of them are hot! I really can’t wait to read more about Cassie and Theo, and find out how they will do at attempting a relationship, something new to both of them! ~ Tiffany, 4.5 stars

I am really enjoying this series. After reading the first book I was unsure of my feelings towards Theo. I mean he has a rotating schedule of woman each week and I was not sure that this man could change and would Cassie be the one that could actually tame him. But after reading this installment I am falling for Theo just as much as Cassie is.
Theo wants Cassie and he is out to prove to her that he is the man for her, that he can change. She is the only woman he wants and he intends on proving it to her. So they make a deal, one that as the reader you are a bt concerned as to whether or not he can even keep that deal. But we begin to see another side of Theo. We see the man that is so taken by Cassie that he will do what it takes to get her. We continue to watch these two grow closer and learn more about Cassie’s past.
I loved the confidence that Cassie has in this one. I love watching these two characters grow. They are hot and intense and have great chemistry. I know that something is going to happen and at this point I am so unsure as to where this story will go. Ms. Elvira manages to keep the suspense alive with the prologue to each installment, giving us just a glimpse into the future and what’s ahead for these two characters. I cannot wait to start the next one. This is a great series so far.

Not as good as the first book. It's extra cheese and it's basically setting up for the 4th book. I'm not going to read the 3rd or 4th book. Because this book left me with no reason to read further. No cliffhanger.

Even though I enjoyed reading this I was a little bit disappointed because you imagine the book to be very different from what it is after you read the first section (don't want to spoil it for readers!). This book is about him winning her over and not about the first part of the book it mentions. Sorry if I've confused anyone out there!

Loved this book! Loved it so much! Bought book 3 & 4. Cassie is so relatable and Theo...a guy you see grow so much just in two books. I hope that doesn’t change in book 3 &4.

The first installment of this series left things up in the air with Theo and Cassie and left me wondering what was going to happen with them. Theo has been fascinated by Cassie so long that he wants to make sure everything goes right with her and he feels that for the time being, they should be friends. I really liked how Theo changed his behavior from how he was in the beginning and became a better guy.
In this installment we also get Cassie's POV. It was nice to finally see how she felt about things and to see what she was thinking. Cassie has become a lot more confident since she has lost a lot of weight. She has decided she wants to be with Theo, and now Theo wants to be just friends, as he thinks that is the best thing for Cassie. So she decides to make a move and seduce him. Will her plan work? Will they end up being more than just friends?
This was another good read. Cassie and Theo are both interesting characters. This series is different than what I've read before. I can't wait to read what happens in the next two installments.

We pick up where we left off and it starts off with a WOW :-)
Cassie is at the church where she has always felt at home and is volunteering with her friend Matt. Theo see's this and butts in. He as always does not disappoint and is amusing and hilarious. Book two they both struggle with their relationship. Cassie wants more and she is willing to go after Theo at full throttle. Theo learns things about Cassie's past and he realizes as deeply as he cares for her, he does not want to be another one of those people that were in her life. So he tries to remain strictly platonic. But Cassie has other ideas and she plans to pull out all the stops. It was a short, fun read and insanely hot. The start was very good and I'm excited to see where Obsession takes us. A wonderful series that you simply must read :-) I promise, you will not be disappointed at all.

Holy 180! Was that Theo? Did that just end with those thoughts from Theo? Mr a different girl every night of the week!?! Holy crap!!
This book I liked much more than book one. I loved seeing Cassie grow from insecure to kinda sassy and feisty. I also like that some times she takes control. It was nice to see her get that confidence back. It was also nice to see Theo.'s change, his growth. In this one both our characters grew and changed, in different ways, but it was still there.
If you are looking for a quick, cute, sexy read, this one is for you. But believe me, I'm still left asking - WHAT IS GOING ON?!
Justine did a great job of getting us tangled back up in the story of Theo and Cassie! Can't wait
To see where she takes us next.

I'm on pins and needles for the next book already!!! I can't wait!
