He joins a support group for others who have gained such powers but this group of dysfunctional argumentative individuals unexpectedly find themselves seized to take part in an ongoing struggle between powerful factions. It brings them deeper into increasingly bizarre situations, dangers and closer to discovering the truth behind what has happened to them.
