THEY MAYBE JUST FRESH OUT OF THE ACADEMY BUT THEY'RE THE RIGHT GROUP TO SAVE THE HUMAN RACE

6/11/26 Review:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

New Front: Graduation Day Book 4 by John Walker is a well-written, fast-paced, science fiction military adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat to see if Elias, Rafe, Tanner, Nora, Tara, Rebecca, and a few new additions to the cast who join the crew of the Horizon to save the colonists under attack from the Velarans, an alien race who has been wrecking havoc on the border settlements. If that was enough for this young crew who were forced into war before they even graduated from the naval academy, they also have to deal with human terrorists who may or may not be allies with the Velarans.

This fourth book brings in a few different twists and turns into the storyline that will just blow your mind adding additional suspense and mystery to see if our young heroes can prove the are capable for the hardships of war with enough guts and skills to save the day.

Though these books can be read out of order and still be enjoyable, I highly recommend reading them in the order in which they are written since each previous book adds to the next. If you have had the chance to read any of John Walker's books, you'll really enjoy this book and series. As a sci-fi nut, I can honestly recommend this book and series to you and believe you'll be happy once you start.

Great story but needs proof reading

This book follows our adventurers into new territory. Plenty of fighting, some new characters, and a side portion of intrigue and infighting.

The story is engaging and for the most part the writing is good but, this book needs proof reading properly. Some sentences don't scan well at all and there are occasions where the wrong word has been typed (more than likely auto corrected incorrectly).

While this is acceptable in a FOC kindleunlimited book, if I'd paid directly for this, I'd have been a little disappointed.

Overall it's a great series and worth a read. It just needs a full edit and tidy up to make it into a 4 star or higher.

unresolved ending

If this is the last in the series, nothing is resolved, it’s like chapters are missing! I’m disappointed I wasted all this time reading the 4 books, and everything is left hanging up in the air!

Nope

Ok, not much to say, its' too fragmented, too many grammar and editing problems! Sorry, it's just too much swinging back and forth, descriptions and dialogue aren't clear enough to infuse the reader with a coherent vision of what's going on. I'll pass on this one!

Great Story

Feels like a fantastic series with finely developing characters and plot lines. Glad the story continues. Looking forward to upcoming new books.

works too hard to continue the story

The story suddenly introduces many new complex characters. They seem to have been added only to justify a fourth book in the series

Good finish

Finally back stabbing, colony erasure, mutiny, leaving a position during active combat, and convicts dying for their obvious, oily prosecutor.

Enough excitement to keep reading.

So the story continues. So much suspense it keeps one to see what comes next. Can't wait to find out what comes next.
