This is the second series by Helena Newbury, made up of 3 instalments, each about 100 pages long, so each book is quite short. Helena Newbury has been very creative and thought outside the box. What I mean is; she didn't pick a stereotypically hot, well-bred, good-mannered and wealthy guy (although the Luka is hot, well-bred and wealthy). Luka is not just a bad-boy - he is a bad guy and that makes all the difference. She also chose to pick a man that does not live in America - which a lot of romance authors do. The female character - lets just say she has her own story behind the major story, and it flows very smoothly and really justifies her actions, which I liked. Arianna (I wondered if the character's namesake is Arianna Grande), is a very good person who was dealt a blow by life and has buried herself under her work to forget. It took me one sitting to read this instalment. It's basically the intro to the story and ends just as the real drama starts. Helena Newbury uses the Russian language many times. And I've been very critical and actually went to Google Translate to find those words. There are a few mistakes in the translation of these words, but no fear! This book actually surprised me, I honestly didn't think it would be as good as it is. So if your doubting - pick it up, it might surprise you! It's a definite 4 star. Congratulations to Helena Newbury on a well written and published book!
