Oh my goodness, I’ve waited a long time for the next Elvira Slate book and this didn’t disappoint! We delve deeper into Elvira’s past, the secrets she’s tried to hide and the memories she’s running from. She’s more vulnerable, but still the stylish PI I loved from the first book. I cannot wait for the next one

Helen will always be one of the authors that I will read anything she writes as I know it will be absolutely incredible. I finished Third Woman the other night and I still can't get over how epic it was! It explores deep themes like mental health and trauma, stigmas and stereotypes from the 1940s era. It has rich, indepth and strong female characters that keep you guessing at every turn whilst you try solve a complex web of mystery!! This series needs to be on your TBR!!
