I love this author’s quick, spicy stories! She knows how to create characters that instantly pull me in and keep me engaged. Dante and Chloe were no exception with their sharp banter, their off the charts chemistry and an ending that had me screaming a little before grinning a lot. Overall, the perfect read for a fast break.

A quick read to sate your need for a laugh and some steamy, controversial romance.
The premise is gold: a real-estate agent is caught having a shower in a luxury condo by the very CEO who owns the building and dozens more. I had to read what followed. And I enjoyed it.
It's full of crazy comedy, sharp dialogues and opposites attract vibes. It's got that Patterson Weaver come to love from this author's short stories. He is a veritable ogre in his billionaire ways though extremely handsome and persistent when it comes to convincing poor Chloe to accept a devil's pacto to work for him. I loved their interactions. So funny and unhinged.
I started to think it was going to be more romantic than usual with his ardent declarations and all. Yet the heartbreak is there too to prove a point. It was still good to go through to get to the epiphany of love and good will. I never get tired :D.

Well, that was pretty good story. I like the little hiccup in the end there. It's a good pick me up story if you're looking for something easy and fun.

Quick fast paced rom com! I think this one might have been a little too fast paced at the end. He was a complete tool in the last few chapters and all it took was one im sorry. I wanna see some groveling! Other than that it was a nice palette cleanser and I loved the banter.

Whitney G. does it again! The explosive chemistry between Dante Hudson and Chloe Sterling kept me hooked from the very first page. Dante is the ultimate arrogant, ruthless mogul, and Chloe is the perfect fierce heroine to bring him to his knees. Their banter was sharp, the tension was off the charts, and the romance was incredibly satisfying. I couldn't put it down! A must-read workplace enemies-to-lovers romance.

Oh wow, this one reeled me in like a fish on a hook. Dante Hudson is a ruthless property tycoon with the personality of a scorpion. There are no second chances in his world. What Dante wants, Dante gets. His latest obsession was acquiring a particular piece of property, but the local council and the neighborhood residents were blocking him at every turn. Already in a foul mood, Dante decides to personally investigate one of his luxury apartments that's currently on the market. Intent on meeting the estate agent and her prospective client, he gets far more than he bargained for when he discovers a woman in his state-of-the-art shower. And judging by the circumstances, it doesn't seem like it's her first time sneaking into one of his properties for a bathing session.
Chloe Sterling had literally just had the shower water thrown in her face when she comes face-to-face with the intimidating owner of the apartment. Mortified and caught red-handed, her first instinct was to run. Unfortunately for her, Dante Hudson doesn't let things, or people slip through his fingers so easily. After finding her, threatening her, he eventually presents her with a proposition that may be far more dangerous than simply getting caught. Has Chloe bitten off more than she can chew?
Dante was arrogant, ruthless, infuriating, and a first-class knob, but he's also undeniably sexy. Chloe can’t help her attraction to him, even when she finds out what the neighborhood really thinks of him. As their chemistry becomes impossible to ignore, she starts to unravel his past, as well as the way he was stepping up to the plate, and she'll have to decide whether walking away with her dignity intact was even an option.
Whitney G. has a wonderful way of writing stories that immediately draw you in. While this was more of a quick coffee break read or two, I found myself completely intrigued by the characters and their story. The laugh-out-loud moments, witty banter, and hidden layers to the backstory kept me turning the pages. My only gripe was that I wished the characters had developed a little more, particularly during the steamy and emotional moments. And after what Dante did, I definitely needed him to grovel for a way longer than he did! I wanted more story.
That said, Ruthless Mogul was a fun, entertaining read with plenty of sparks, humor, and tension. If you're looking for a quick billionaire romance featuring a grumpy, ruthless hero and a heroine who isn't afraid to challenge him, this one is well worth picking up.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate Whitney G.? She is my go-to author whenever I'm stuck in a reading slump because I know she's going to pull me right back into reading... and Ruthless Mogul did exactly that!
Every time I pick up one of her books, I'm reminded why she's one of my favorite romance authors. Her writing just keeps getting better, her stories always feel fresh, and she has a way of creating characters that grab your attention from page one.
The chemistry? Off the charts. The banter? Absolutely top-tier. The tension? Chef's kiss. I was hooked from the very first chapter and couldn't stop turning the pages.
I'm also a complete sucker for a billionaire romance, and Dante definitely delivered. But what made him stand out was that there was so much more to him than his wealth. Whitney gave us little glimpses into his past and the incredible way he quietly helps the homeless, and honestly... I wanted more of that. I would have loved to dive deeper into that side of his story because it added so much heart to his character.
What I love most about Whitney G. is that even though she writes billionaire romances, they never feel repetitive. Every story has its own unique twist, unforgettable characters, and a romance that keeps you completely invested.

One thing about Whitney is, she’s gonna give you some laugh out loud moments in her stories! I love that! This one was fast paced, comical and fun!
Chloe is a broke real estate agent who has been secretly sneaking into luxury apartments because well, her apartment isn’t the greatest. She’s been getting by with it for 2 years until she’s caught by none other than Dante Hudson. Billionaire CEO of pretty much every building in the city and also her boss.
Dante wants to press charges and Chloe does the only thing she can think of…run! But he finds her and makes her an offer that pulls her into his world instead of pushing her out of it.
Whitney’s hero’s remind me of the male version of Miranda Priestley from The Devil Wears Prada. Haha! The boss everyone is afraid of. Dante was no different. He was cold and disciplined on the surface, calculating and strategic and a little emotionally guarded. He’s the ruthless billionaire who softens in private type!
I’d say Chloe was very self-reliant. She’s used to figuring things out in her own. She was quick thinking and would improvise to get through difficult situations.
They were opposite but that’s what made them great! Chloe is more open while Dante’s walls are a little harder to break through. Their relationship is intense, messy at times but also funny & cute! I highly enjoyed this story and these characters. I had some laugh out loud moments and now I can’t wait to see what Whitney does next.

I actually finished this one in a day and I laughed and smiled but really alongwith the banter and the hate vibes, the story pulled me instantly.
Chloe is used to using the luxury places that she shows as a real estate agent and even though, initially I was like girl.. Why... But when soon you see her living state, to some degree, I get why she couldn't resist the temptation.
Billionaire CEO, Dante is a ruthless man who owns the majority of real estate from luxury places right down to the rentals and everything.
He's having a hard time acquiring a place, The Holden because of his bad reputation of being a selfish one but also there are people forming groups to ban him.
So when he finds a thief using his luxury penthouse shower, he thinks of a brilliant idea.
The plot moved quickly and I was pulled in instantly. The Enemies-to-Lovers vibe is on fire and also the banter... Oohh was so good.
Dante is truly a cold one and Chloe the complete opposite of him.
I loved how she shows him a side that he had been not understanding and especially why people hated him.

CHLOE OPENS DANTE'S EYES AND HIS HEART!
Chloe was scraping her way through life, barely having two nickles to rub together. She worked as a real estate agent for Dante Hudson, living in one of his run down slummy condos in which mostly nothing worked. She had a shared shower on her floor that never had hot water, so she had taken to having showers in some of the luxury condos that were for sale. She'd put down the time as a showing and then shower in prime comfort.
When she's caught by Dante taking a shower in one of the most luxurious condos, he's furious but enthralled by her beauty. She's defiant and stands up to him and he's amused and intrigued. He decides to give her a job to clean up his image so he can purchase a building he has been denied.
Chloe has her work cut out for her, especially since the arrogant Dante doesn't think there is anything wrong with him. But just when you think Chloe might be able to redeem him, the tables turn! A quick read for a quick escape from reality. Dante Hudson is a ruthless billionaire with a bad reputation. He's out of touch with the real world, and his only goal is buying a city-owned building. When he catches Chloe Sterling in one of his luxury properties taking a shower, he wants to press charges. Instead he is determined to find out how to become more likable and thinks Chloe can help him. Dante's transformation is like the Beast. From off-putting to personable until he tries to pull a fast one on Chloe. That left me disgusted with this man. For real? Endear yourself to the common man and then change up your plans for a building reno?!?!? Absolutely not! So, even though it pains Chloe to cut all ties, she does, and boy does Dante learn a valuable lesson.
I like the fast-paced story! The pull between the two characters. The way Chloe stood her ground. The way Dante became more human and in touch with the real world.

Ruthless Mogul is the first story in the Steamy Espresso Reads. It is a great way to begin a new series. It is a quick and entertaining story.
Dante is a property manager. If he wants something he gets it. He is unliked by everyone. There is a piece of property that he can't seem to acquire that he desperately wants. He goes to check it out and sees that someone has been using it who does not own it. Chloe is currently in the shower.
Chloe works as a property realtor and has been having a hard time in life. Her apartment is in less than ideal conditions. She has been forced to come up with another way to take a shower. She has been using an apartment for a while. But when she meets Dante she knows this will change.
I loved the instant chemistry between Chloe and Dante. I loved how she wanted to fight for what is right with the properties. I loved how she changed Dante's personality for the better. I look forward to more from this talented author.

This was a satisfying, quick read from Whitney G. Set in the real estate world, Chloe often 'borrows' luxury apartments she can say she's showing as an agent, using their bathrooms that are much more comfortable than her own that she has to share in less than suitable circumstances. When she's caught by the billionaire owner, Dante, he strikes a deal with her: help him obtain his dream hotel and be paid more than generously.
The story had the usual Whitney G. charm and humour (especially the on-point sarcasm). The chemistry was good and I like how Dante stayed pretty cut-throat. There was the usual over the top plot points and break up drama that fans of this author will be able to guess but there's still a happily ever after. I love this author's male leads and this was another fun billionaire 'suit' read from this author.

Dante is a ruthless businessman who discovers Chloe squatting in one of his upper class condo units and he makes a deal with her. She helps him repair his reputation so that he can buy a building that he wants and he won't report her to the police. She thinks she has it made when he offers her a lot of money but quickly discovers sometime money just isn't worth it. The two start sleeping together but Dante ruins it by betraying her trust and he has to grovel to win her back.
This book was a fun, fast read. Just what I needed over the weekend. I loved Chloe's backbone and despite Dante being a complete ass I liked him too once I understood more about his character. The banter between characters was so fun to read and the characters were very quick witted.

Whit G does it again! I love her short stories and can devour them overnight! Ruthless Mogul was exactly what we expect from WG!
Dante Hudson is ruthless, his name is all over the city, and now there is one building he wants at any cost but continues to run into roadblocks to get it.
Chloe, a real estate agent, working for one of Dante’s banners, squatting in his listings, now on the run after being caught in one of his elite buildings.
A little digging and Dante decides Chloe is exactly what he needs to turn his image around…but she is in real estate not PR! Do not worry she has a plan for the most hated billionaire in the city!
Maybe find a little spark while helping him out!

"We were only a couple weeks into our deal, and I was already dreading it coming to an end."
I love Whitney's strong, arrogant men and her smart, feisty women. There is always lots of chemistry with humor and fun dialog. Dante and Chloe were exactly the kinds of characters she excels at writing and the story, while short and fast paced, had a lot going for it. I did feel that there were a few details skipped and the ending was way too quick and incomplete. I mean, where was the grovel? She caved in way too easily and quickly, especially after his extremely cruel words to her. She deserved so much more. Despite the end, the story was still amusing and lots of fun. It's super easy to read, perfect for a couple of hours of entertainment.

Chloe Sterling is a struggling realtor who gets caught with her hand in the proverbial cookie jar, aka sleeping and showering in one of the Hudson Luxury penthouses shes trying to sell/rent. Then there's Dante Hudson. He's a Billionaire mogul who is so full of himself he climbs off the pages. He worships money and will crush anything or anyone who gets in his way.
The way Whitney has written him reveals that there's more to him than you think.

Yea..I was instantly hooked when I saw the blurb: real estate agent gets caught by the CEO that owns the bulding of the luxury condo. Whitney G does such a great job with her short spicy reads and that's why I keep coming back to her. Her books hook you right away. But you have to just read the story for what it is, don't get all analytical. Some people say that they want more character development. I get that. But I'm here to get a good spicy, steamy story and this book fulfills my needs. I don't really need to know in depth of the character's pasts and how that forms their current self to enjoy the current story and interactions. Overall, it is a very enjoyable read. Perhaps the ending could be more elaborate since i can see that it ends sort of quickly and would like more details.

I really enjoyed this story. Whitney G didn't waste anytime by jumping right in the story of Dante and Chloe which is a good thing. The story took ahold of me. Chloe is amazing and sweet. She is also smart and sassy. She gets caught in compromising situation so she bolts. Now Chloe made a deal with the devil😂. Dante is a ruthless businessman and has a bad reputation. He is handsome, smart and rich. When he caught a woman in a compromising position, he gotta find her. These two start as enemies which quickly turned into attraction on both ends. This is one of Whitney G mild books. The writing was amazing as usual! Great job Whitney G!👏🏾💐❤️

This was a super silly story. The premise is so fun and light and insane. You can’t help but laugh. A super short story around 150 pages in which I didn’t understand how the time jumps were useful. The growling was a really good touch even though it didn’t really make sense to me. The character growth of the MMC was questionable at best.

This was a cute short read. There wasn't much to the story for me to grow to like Dante or believe he was less ruthless than he been. I wish there would have been a deeper dive into why he was the way he was, clearly it had to do with his parents, but it never went into detail. Also, there was no showing of how his relationship with Chloe actually grew to more. It was only shown there was sexual attraction. I didn't believe they truly liked each other because there was so little of positive interactions between them.

Let’s say he was not amused. He is a tough as nails boss and man that needs a new image to win another property he wants. Can he keep it professional or will Chloe do more than clean up his image, like melt his heart? A fun boss/employee romance. Told in first person and dual POV.

It was funny, steamy, banter filled and highly amusing. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a quick read but felt like a full length book. as a story it's good, but i wasn't expecting it to end abruptly. i was expecting the iconic-type character "andrew hamilton" but got a softy named dante instead. i didn't feel the push & pull of these characters. and it's over the top that chloe demanded a million plus for her salary & he just gave it to her. i know this is fiction, but still .... there was nothing that gripped me w/these 2 annoying characters.

With a great storyline and fantastic characters this enemies to lovers novella is an absolute must read! Dante and Chloe’s attraction is instant as is the animosity between them, but despite that they can’t resist each other, no matter how hard they try. There’s also Whitney G’s signature banter, fun texts, and steam. I devoured it in one sitting!
