Wow! Tat is the grimiest, most despicable and desperate person on the planet. Her jealousy of Noni knows no bounds and the lengths she has taken to get Dom shows how delusional she really is. Her putting everyone’s life in jeopardy makes me cringe. Dom has always lead with the wrong head and hopefully this is the rude awakening for him to truly become a changed man. His and Noni’s relationship is over and she should have no guilt for finally acting on her feelings for Merci. I don’t want anyone outside of Tat to have the virus but what I do want is for Noni to be pregnant with Merci’s baby as Dom was not the for her or worthy of being a father to her children.

OMG! The bomb has dropped! This series is so full of issues and emotions and shockers! Each book ended on a cliff hanger. On to the next book.

Dame shit just hit the fan 😱finding out your husband got a baby with your and finding out she got HIV wow I can’t wait to get the book for this book so messy I love her writing hand skills, but on the real shit, if you are out there messing around with people, make sure you use protection, because you never know what the next person might have, well I’m about to get into book four now. I hope it’s just as good as the other three.

This left off exactly where part 2 ended. More secrets are coming out and hearts are breaking. Love Burn is the perfect title. Noni is not sure if she wants her husband Dom or his best friend Merci. Can't wait to see what happens in part 4.

Merci stirred something in Noni that she hadn’t felt in five years. She felt that the sun was revolving around her, she felt confident. He catered to needs she didn’t know she had. He gave her strength. He gave her light. He appreciated her.
Tat is one desperate bitch and Dom is one sick man for allowing her to come to his home and play wife in her best friend’s home. Wow.
Crazy how the entire time that Noni was achieving and moving up in the world, Tat was busy being jealous instead of trying to achieve the same status.
“There is no such thing as losing a bad thing. You give them away. Dom was no good. Give his ass to that trifling heffa baby. He wandered in her yard like a dog now let him shit all over it. You lock your gate and don’t let that dog back in.”
““You’re supposed to be able to be stupid for the man you love. That’s where the trust comes in. Us women are all trusting and naïve. Stupid in love I call it. You don’t even know how much trust you are putting into a man until he breaks your heart. The right man wouldn’t take advantage of that,”

All the gloves came off—ain’t nobody safe in this one. Secrets exploded, tempers flared, and everything hit the fan. I was reading like 😱, 😩, 😤, and 😭 all at once. The emotional rollercoaster was REAL.
Characters showed their true colors and it was ugly. Betrayals came to light, alliances crumbled, and just when I thought it couldn’t get any messier—Ashley turned up the heat again. The drama had me glued to the pages.
Mercy? Still THAT MAN, holding it down like the king he is. Dom? I’m still not over the nonsense. The FMC? Whew, baby girl went THROUGH it. But her strength? Undeniable.
This series keeps getting better with every book, and Book 3… yeah, it snatched my soul.

Cats are ou the Bag!!!
Noni has returned home and the Snake Tat is at her home? Dom is beside himself and the Feds just invaded someone’s bank account. Lupe visits Dom and the deal goes bad. Now Merci is taking care of his boy. Thomas is shot and he needs a kidney..well his dad is will need to try, right? Noni cannot take anymore but once again she falls back into his web of lies. Man this is explosive, unforgiving and not cool at all! Maya and Gram visit Noni when she crashes her car. She cannot get over her feelings regarding Merci and he loves Noni but does not want to be that rebound guy. Crazy, confused and just feeling low Noni will have to get her confidence and self-esteem together. Tat is trifling and I feel sorry for Thomas.Dom at he’s up with Merci and Noni . He will not enjoy what he see’s but Tat will open up a can of worms that nobody is ready for!!!! Part 4

Tat dumb ass thought a baby was going to keep Dom!! Then Tat twisted ass is literally trying to pass HIV to Dom purposely!!! Omg, 😱 the disrespect that Noni is consistently going through!!!!! She has allowed Dom to completely change her life in the worse way.
Dom is such a coward and a TRUE manipulator. “Karma is a bitch Dom, you just wait and see. “Nigga I got yo ass, she thought bitterly as she retreated to her car and pulled away into the night.” 😱😩 EVEN THOUGH I DON’T like Dom…. I feel for him 😕
Merci is not playing games with Noni!!! Yes king!!! Don’t settle for nothing that will bring you heartbreak! I love how genuine he is ❤️

The story was at times romantic; but it was always challenging. The story evinces how women often prevaricate when it comes time to answer the question ‘How did I get into this situation?’. The fact is that Noni is well educated and dumb. We hear things like “Noni did nothing wrong”, “Noni did everything right”, or “Noni was brainwashed”. What I hear is “It is okay to make stupid choices, and if things go wrong you can always blame everything on the man and only pretend to take some accountability”. Eve fell prey to slick talk too, and where did that get us? Now one would think that women would have learned by now — especially the “educated” ones. | The other issue I have is how poorly these stories reflect Black America. They glorify drugs, crime, sexual immorality, and a woeful lack of curiosity about, let alone actual reverence for the Righteousness of GOD.

This story is laid out so well. It's engaging, fast-paced and the drama never ends.
It's also real. Women constantly accept less from their significant other for all the reasons Noni does in this book. And sometimes there's a side chick standing by, fueling fires, instigating drama and waiting for the man to fall in her lap. Like they never heard the saying 'how you get him is how you'll lose him'.
Noni needs to stop taking off her big girl panties; how does she recover from this mess? How does she ever trust him again? And then there's Merci, who despite all the bs, prayed for Noni. Yes, he's the man.

I'm gonna keep it clean in this particular review. I don't want to get an email saying my review couldn't be posted because I'm vulgar.
This is turning out to be a really good series. There are some annoying grammatical errors- made more annoying to me because the author is a vet who's been doing this for probably 2 decades, also some inconsistencies. But please believe they do not take away from the story. I'm the grammar police. But this love square or star or some other shape with more than 3 lines is getting SPICY!!!!

Good!
This series has to be one of the craziest ever. But it's truly a great read. These characters makes me so angry especially Noni. Dom I can only shake my head at him. Tat is nasty and unhappy as they come. And finally Merci the only sane one,but I have to question why he even loves Noni. With all the chaos with the characters this is an awesome read. #TeamMerci

Dom is the reason for all of these dramatics. Tat ability to cause so much mess is because of Dom. Now Noni and Merci are damaged because of it. To be honest no one was innocent in this story all of them are a mess. But now I am invested and must see the end of this story even though I am annoyed with every character in this story!! 2Stars ugh!!

I don’t want to give too much away but I hope Noni doesn’t have to pay too high a price for being a fool in love. I hope she stays strong no matter what. On a technical note, this book was full of misspellings and grammatical errors. But thankfully the story was good enough to provide a distraction. On to part 4……..

Horrible
This story is beyond ghetto. I read this because of the butterfly series but this is terrible. At least the butterfly series made sense. Idk what her deal with making the girls homie hoppers but she love to do that. I was interested for a second but then she just did too much

The Ending was a shock
This book has gotten better and better over the series. Tat is like the typical side female that every man had to deal with and Noni is the definition of ride or die until she has to go with her right mind for the first time. I definitely enjoyed reading this book, honestly puts a lot of things in perspective.

Great series
Oh the twist and turns of Dom, Tat, Noni and Merci I can wait to read the last book. So excellently written. It keeps you guessing and hoping. I hope that Noni finally finds her happiness.
