I swear I'm a relatively normal person, but then I read books like this and i think maybe there is something slightly off in my brain because I LOVE a stalker romance. Why am I swooning as Jason is doing things that would absolutely landing him in real life jail 🤣?! Sadie and I must both be a bit crazy because she loves it as much as i do. This story will make you laugh with all the giggles of a romcom, get worked up in the best spicy ways and again... question your sanity as you swoon over a stalker... loved it!

"Stalked by the Shortstop" is the first book in the new series, The Diamond Serpents. From the moment he saw her, Jason knew that Sadie was his and only his, making him swoon-worthy in a wonderfully unhinged way. When Sadie finally notices Jason, she initially thinks it's by chance and is surprised by the instant connection she feels. However, when she learns about his obsession and how he has been stalking her, she unexpectedly falls hard for him, which makes her feel even safer with him. Their story is a quirky, funny, and swoon-worthy romance that left me wanting more from this series.

Loved Jason and Sadie
I love this authors stalker stories. Jason is shortstop on the U of D’s baseball team and has been stalking Sadie for months. The beast in him wants her, needs her, knows she’s the forever one but to get her to date him is another thing. Fast paced, sweet and steamy stalkerish read and I loved it.

can’t get over the fact he literally was fucking his way through women and then all the sudden was like “she’s mine”
moment that pissed me off was the elevator scene when six cheerleaders got off and he’d slept with two of them, one was super flirty…all in front of fmc. At least he was honest when she asked if he hooked up with any of them…(literally two months ago)

I would have liked it better if the FMC wasn’t inexperienced (Only been with 2 OM and it wasn’t good) or if she was just as experienced as the MMC Or if the MMC wasn’t a playboy before meeting FMC.

I love when a MC is protective and obsessed with his woman, and yes even if that leads to some unhinged stalking. Jason and Sadie were the perfect match, they both wanted love and had a little bit of darkness in them that match each other so well. This book was a very steamy college romance that was unhinged, a little dark and yet so sweet at the same time. I loved the final confrontation scene and where she forced it to happen, so good! Jason was a reformed playboy as soon as he laid eyes on Sadie, a "monster" awoke inside of him that demanded that she was his. He was all in from that point, and I appreciated how he reassured her of that when there was run in's with past hook ups. Definitely go into this one with an open mind, it's not a sweet romance, but it's not as dark as I would have expected either. Some editing errors and there were some cringey lines, but it was good overall. No cheating or OM/OW drama, no condoms, dual POV, dual stalking, HEA and an epilogue in the future. Can't wait to read Tere and Jeremy's story to see just how much darker Jeremy is than Jason!

If you’re looking for a quick, steamy baseball romance with an over-the-top possessive hero, this one definitely delivers.
From the moment he sees her, he’s completely obsessed. There is no hiding his “she’s mine” energy, and if you love protective alpha heroes who fall hard and fast, you’ll have fun with this one. Their chemistry is immediate, the pacing is fast, and the story is perfect for when you’re in the mood for a novella you can finish in one sitting.
This is definitely an OTT stalker romance, so you’ll want to go in expecting fantasy over realism. If that’s your thing, you’ll get plenty of possessive moments, spicy scenes, and a hero who would do absolutely anything for the woman he’s claimed as his.
It was a fun, steamy escape that didn’t take itself too seriously, and sometimes that’s exactly the kind of book I need.

Jason has had his eyes on Sadie for a while however instead of making his move he stays on the sidelines until the time is right. Once that happens he is all in and now he just has to hope that Sadie will understand if the truth comes out.

I loved this book so much. Watching Sadie fall for Jason was beautiful, especially because she believed their meetings were just fate, while Jason had known her schedule all along.
The stalker vibe might not be for everyone, but it fit this story perfectly.
My favorite moment was when Sadie confronted Jason about stalking her. Instead of pushing them apart, it somehow made it even more obvious that they were absolutely perfect for each other.
This was such an enjoyable read, and I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to pick up the next book in the series!

With this story, this line made me laugh cause he was honestly wondering if it was or not.
Jason is the OTT male character that we all want as a book boyfriend. Hes hot, sweet and has eyes for only one woman.
Sadie is all about work and studies. She wants to be a teacher. So when she “meets” Jason in the elevator, she thinks he’s cute but doesn’t realize he watches her.
When Sadie is in trouble, will Jason come out of the shadows to help her? How will she react when she finds out he’s been stalking her?

This is the first book in The Diamond Serpents series. Jason is a baseball player and stalker to sweet tutor Sadie. Jason made some questionable decisions when it came to Sadie but I was here for it. Definitely red flags in real like but in books I was rooting for Jason and Sadie. Loved Sadie and Jason's in person interactions. Read in one setting. Can't wait for the next book in the series. Such a good start.

If you love your heroes to be obsessed, possessive and jealous, you will find yourself falling for Jason. He can’t help but entwine himself into every aspect of Sadie’s life and I was eagerly awaiting that moment when they finally meet in the “light”.
Their chemistry was amazing and I loved how Jason was able to patiently win her over with his words and actions.

A quick sizzling safe stalker sports romance. I enjoyed this fun read as Jason is OTT but in the best way. Loved how Sadie bloomed as she realized he was serious about being her forever. A little reverse stalking in the end was delightful. Can’t wait for the next in this series.

Jason is completely obsessed with Sadie, and I was here for it! I loved their story. He did everything to make sure she knew she was it for him. I couldn't get enough of their story. They both were a tiny bit crazy.

It was a cute book. It could have definitely used a proofreader as there were spelling and grammar errors throughout the book but not so distracting that I didn’t finish the book.
