InfoWars propaganda thinly disguised as a thriller. Most of the book is characters heavy-handily regurgitating the theories of Alex Jones in their dialogue and what plot there is mainly serves to give more opportunities for them to expound further.

A little more (well, a lot more) subtlety on the propaganda, this could have been a decent enough book on the thriller end of things. The descriptions of a broken America are well rendered, and, although the book was written in the Obama era, reading it now with Trump in the background makes it more interesting as a bit of a game of connecting dots.

The problem was most of the book was like reading a lecture. Not how I want to spend my time. Picked it up free with Kindle Unlimited.

I read this book pretty quick which normally says that is must be good. My rating is harsh because of the depressing subject matter. Why is America so much into conspiracy theories. It is so well written that the reader cannot fail to almost believe the inevitable. I will be looking out for the next instalment, so I suppose I am recommending it really. Still dislike this level of big brother (so there's hope for me then).

Tidal Wave 23 had an awesome cover design that definitely makes you want to pull it off the shelf and read it. The story, though, left me frustrated by the end of the read.

The author believes in a “New World Order” and he makes sure to put in every belief he has about it in his book, to the point where it takes away from the actual story. I feel the author spent so much time on wanting to spread his beliefs about this “New World Order” that he neglected to build up his characters and develop dramatic situations that happen in the book which the author just passes by. I also felt that the stories dramatic scenes were jumpy and incomplete.

One of the most frustrating parts of this book was his writings on how his FBI agents worked. He wrote them more like two rogue cops, not two special agents. A retired agent wouldn’t be taken back on because a senator asked them to—especially if his son was a Russian informant—, an agent who is explained as a great American wouldn’t withhold evidence from his superiors, and he wouldn’t be let back on to work after having a partner that was turned Russian spy without being investigated.

There is a new world order that is threatening the safety of the United States. Special Agent Tristan Wood recovers his flash drive when his partner is arrested for spying. To his surprise there is a new file containing a video showing a Russian nuclear strike. Wood puts his family in danger as he tries to discover if Tidal Wave 23 is a real plot or just some old movie.

Conspiracy theories come to life.

Which book follows?

Hard to get into. Tough topic. Scary times we live in. Would not surprise me. I don't believe the deceiver wins. Money can't buy happiness, and the elite won't be taking it with them. We will all stand in judgment. I am thankful not to have to wear their shoes. A must read. Let me know what is next. Thank you.

Enjoyable book. I am not sure if I have totally bought into the New World Order (I will admit some of it does sound a little too conspiracy theory-ish), but the read was enjoyable. A good clean book, good action, good suspense and a little scary at the same time.
