Good overview of all things to expect physically and emotionally from pregnancy through the early stages of a child’s life. Most of the advice boils down to being present, being selfless with your partner and child, and being prepared for difficult times and having patience to work through the inevitable changes. I like how the book included support lines and contacts for a variety of issues that may arise. Good starter book for potential papas!

An encouraging, concise resource for dads-to-be.

There was another review of this guide on Goodreads that made me lol: "Basic thoughts and needs about becoming a father combined with check lists and a ton of anonymous quotes."

So many anonymous quotes!

This dovetailed with the boot camp at St. Joes. Seemingly good advice for the daunting road ahead.

Good info and common sense tips from other dads who’ve been thru it already. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it doesn’t seem organized very well. Kinda goes from topic to topic randomly.
