Ruby seeks validation from the place she calls home, the web. No matter how dangerous, she will stop at nothing to feed her cravings. Unrestricted internet access from a young age, parental neglect, and unlimited pills are a deadly combination. How far will she go to be seen? How many scars are too many?
THIS IS OF THE EXTREME HORROR GENRES. READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS. If you can’t handle it, you have many opportunities to close it.
Got as street team arc read from the author!! Absolutely loved it from the first page!! The gore level! Was amazing!! This is the fourth one of the freaky fairytales and I have bloody loved them all. No pun intended read bits of it throughout the day!! I’m going to post reviews here obviously and Instagram and Facebook! My insta is @jessbeedle07 hopefully post more splatter and horror reviews as we go But a bit anxious if the judgement 😂😅 Highly recommend the series. This book and this author! Also who is super sweet!! Thank you so much Anne xx
Anne Snow continues her brutally beautiful Fairy Tales for Freaks series with another 5 star banger. She’s masterful at telling a great story while keeping the brutality.
This is the fourth installment in the Fairytales for Freaks series, and Anne takes readers into some very dark corners with this one. It's an unsettling cautionary tale about loneliness, desperation, and the dangers lurking behind a screen. A reminder that some doors are better left unopened, some questions are better left unanswered, and not everyone online is who they claim to be.
Ruby is a protagonist you'll find yourself deeply invested in. Her isolation, frustration, and overwhelming need to be seen are palpable from the start. Even when she makes choices that are difficult to watch unfold, it's impossible not to empathize with her. You understand why she craves attention, validation, and the fleeting rush that comes from feeling noticed after everything she's endured.
When her source of comfort and recognition suddenly disappears, Ruby begins to spiral. Then a mysterious stranger slips into her private messages, and what starts as curiosity and a growing crush quickly descends into something far more sinister. The tension builds relentlessly as the story becomes increasingly bloody, disturbing, and impossible to look away from. The feeling that someone is always watching hangs over every page, and the consequences are devastating.
Anne has written a phenomenal novel that evokes a wide range of emotions while exploring deeply uncomfortable subject matter with incredible skill. The glimpse into the darker side of the internet feels chillingly believable, and that ending? Completely blindsided me. I never saw it coming.
If you're looking for a blood-soaked, deeply unnerving read that crawls under your skin and stays there, this one deserves a spot on your shelf.
But as always....
⚠️Please read the trigger warnings before diving in.⚠️
I was so lucky to read this early, and I can’t even express how grateful I am for that. Thank you, Anne!
I’m not exaggerating when I tell you that “Little Red Riding The Dark Web” is a masterpiece of an extreme horror book. It has everything you want from this genre, especially the gore! I really cared about Ruby throughout this book, which is saying something because sometimes it’s hard to care about the characters in this genre. The general fear and tension really got me, as did the crazy plot twist that I didn’t see coming! The ending leaves me craving a sequel!
Anne Snow continuously gets better and better every time she writes a new book, which is honestly so impressive because I already enjoyed her early work and now she just keeps putting out 5 star bangers!
So yes, I’m saying that this book includes both delicious gore and excellent writing skills!
I will forever read anything this talented author writes! I’m a fan for life!

Have you ever desired love and attention so badly that it would consume your whole being in the most vile ways?
This is what Ruby desires and there are extreme lengths that Ruby will go through, to get just that. Things that will make others cringe and throw up, make Ruby giddy with excitement and give her butterflies.
This book will have you hooked from the start and with a twist you don't expect coming it will put its claws into you and not let go. Finishing off with an ending that will blow your mind.
Firstly, please go into this with an open mind…this is an extreme, dark and psychologically challenging horror, and it’s perfectly executed! We follow Ruby, a 20 year old girl, who has issues of abandonment and seeks validation on the dark web! Raptor pops up and opens her eyes to a whole new side of the dark web…he is lowkey HOT! 🔥 Snow has a way of hooking you from the start and drawing you in! The writing style is straightforward and easy to get into. The twist is amazing and I did not expect it! The gore level was epically depraved! A perfect quick read for you extreme horror freaks!
Anne Snow slays again with Little red riding the dark web, the 4th story in the fairytales for freaks collection. No spoilers, but this story was both heartbreaking and addicting. It sucked me right in as per usual with her stories, and took me on a ride I was only somewhat prepared for. This one has some gut punching twists!
This story will be released early, separately from the collection on June 27th! Keep your eyes peeled to find out what’s in store for Ruby.. 👀 👩🏻💻🩸
Grateful to get to beta read for Anne, and be apart of her street team. Excited for the next!
Delve into Snow's best story yet and discover the story of Ruby. A tortured and depraved mind, she yearns for attention through her own self mutilation. Gashes and scars cover her body, and it's never enough. She soon meets Raptor and he promises that he can make her more seen than ever before. Fall down the rabbit hole of the dark web with Ruby and see what awaits on the otherside. If you've enjoyed Snow's works thus far, I promise this one will not disappoint!

Little Red Riding The Dark Web is the fourth story in the Fairytales for Freaks collection. We meet Ruby, who’s just craving attention, but she stumbles upon something far more twisted and disturbing than she was ready for.
I honestly couldn’t put this book down. It pulled me in from the very first page, and the story kept me hooked until the end. It was such a dark, wild ride. Definitely worth picking up!
This one is probably my favourite in the series so far. We've all read dark web stories but this one is so unique and in it's own league. So many little twists and turns throughout and I have no idea if I feel sorry for Ruby or not. Absolute crazy ride the whole way through reading. It doesn't drag for a second and is the perfect length
I received this book as a part of Anne Snow's street team in exchange for an honest review! Easy 5 stars for me and other little freaks who enjoy extreme horror.
Ruby's story was honestly hard to look away from. Watching how badly she wanted to be seen and cared about made it easy to get invested in her, even when I knew things were heading somewhere awful.
This book escalates FAST. The tension kept building, the gore was brutal, and every twist somehow made the situation worse. I kept telling myself I'd stop after one more chapter and then suddenly I was finished.
Heartbreaking, disturbing, and completely addictive.
