Thank goodness for Assistive Reader on the Kindle App, it allowed me to read and listen. I was divided on given this book a 4 or 5 stars.
I would recommend this book once I see the book has at least a future date for upcoming releases, nothing worse for a reader then waiting for more.
The pacing was excellent, the intimacy was steamy, and the characters development were phenomenal. It handles the polyamorous "why choose" trope flawlessly, showcasing how a dedicated group of partners navigates complex and sometimes toxic relationships. The book ends on a cliffhanger and I can wait for the next installment and hope it stays on pace.
**Cher** is a deep dive into the darkest corners of dark romance, embracing the over-the-top themes of obsession and possession. It skillfully blends danger and intimacy with deep emotional connections.
**Vincent**, the head of the Moretti family, raised her since she was eight and spent years pretending he didn't want her. That changed when she walked into his study and asked him to kiss her.
**Damien** promised to wait for her since her thirteenth birthday and claimed her on her eighteenth. However, he returned from an arms deal to find she had also made his older brother hers.

Book 1 of CHER. And a FANtastic start it is! Look forward to more from this world.

The characters were very complex and compelling and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and expertly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

It was definitely a good page turner. I usually take my time reading but this book really had me on the edge of my seat. I can’t wait for the rest of the series. Especially with the mafia families coming together for the love of a woman.

I thought this book was wonderful. It was well written, and I enjoyed the characters in the storyline. This is my first time reading anything from this author.
