Where do worlds go when they die? The Earthquakes felt round the Multiverse, Superman’s lost days after “Doomed,” the World’s End – all these points will converge as the history of the DCU is spun from a new perspective, the perspective of a mad god and his arrogant child. The biggest story in DC history ties into literally every DC story ever told – and it all begins here. Kingdom Come, Red Son, Wild West Justice League, Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew – all the worlds you remember can still be found on Telos. Everything matters. Every story matters.

1) I am not a huge fan of Superman, so this comic portending that everything hinged on Superman made me less than thrilled for the Convergence event it preceded.
2) The entire comic is a muddled fever dream that is near completely incomprehensible.
3) After reading the entire eight-issue Convergence event after this, as well as a number of the tie-ins, I was even less happy having read this because Superman had next to nothing to do with the entire thing -- unlike what this comic would lead you to believe.
I would definitely skip this, even if you plan to read the Convergence run, it is a #0 for a reason.
Really good! I honestly don't see what the big fuss is around this issue. So the story is Superman was flying around one day, and suddenly he was teleported into space by Brainiac, so they could have a little chat. Don't get me wrong there's a lot of dialogue, and a lot to take in, but i had so much fun with this issue! You also get to see all the different variations of Brainiac throughout the history of the character which l loved a lot! This deserves a badass seal of approval in my book!

I enjoyed this issue. I'm not the biggest Superman fan and he is the only superhero you get to see in this issue. Don't get me wrong I like Superman, there are just other characters I'm more into (like Batman). I liked the way Superman was drawn. The art was beautiful, vibrant colors and the use of panels was just great! Curious to where this story goes.
Well, I was a skeptic. Perhaps this old world has made me even more curmudgeonly than I should be in my 34 years on this spinning rock. All infinite variations of me. Maybe there's a billionaire playboy version of me out there in the universe who is always positive and happy to see the next "Event Series" in the DC multiverse. Mm, probably not. Not rich anyway. So, I've gotta get it out there - these guys have won me over. As a fan of comic books, DC has astutely played to my love of nostalgia while introducing a refreshing take on these beloved characters. So far I've read up to convergence #5, as well as the GL Parralax issues, Supes, and Action. Keep it up, Zoo Crew!
So far so good. Brainiac is D-List compared to Darkseid but he's really upping his game this time. We know Superman will survive but he will suffer while he does. I'm looking forward to seeing how all the worlds/elseworlds are interconnected in this crossover/reboot event.
Actually, this is an excellent place to start Convergence and explain why it's happening. Why wouldn't it be with Superman? It makes sense. I'm not a hardcore DC comics fan, but reading this comic did make me more interested in reading what comes next for Convergence.
placeholder for DC's Convergence event and its tie-ins (issue count: 29) plus several DC Sneak Peek comics [issue count: 11.8 (31 issues * 8 pages each = 248; 248 / 21 = 11.8)]; started about 1 April; fin about 4 June
Damn you for making me want to read Convergence comics. Seriously, that's just more comics for me to read. This was interesting, intelligent, and really kicked things off.
