He broke her heart, and now he is desperate for her help. Payback is going to be delicious.

Get ready to laugh out loud--and keep the hanky handy because Take My Husband, Please! will get you right in the feels.

With the ink on her divorce nearly dry, rookie realtor Sophie Camden is ready for some fun, excitement, and adventure—an orgasm wouldn't hurt either. Only one teensy complication for this mother of two: her ex insists on moving home after his sudden personal meltdown.

A layoff, investment disaster, and his dad’s death have brought Will Camden’s life into harsh perspective. The cherry on top? Sophie filing for divorce—not that he blames her; he left her no choice. All he wants now is to regain financial footing and be a better father to their kids. That, and to quit obsessing about his sexy wife. Thing is, if she discovers his plan to liquidate everything, including her house, she’ll hate him forever.

When Sophie’s sexy new guy is reluctant to date her unless Will is verifiably out of the picture, she gets entangled in a bet designed to keep Will "occupied" by dating five women of her choosing. Ugh, she just wanted to get rid of him! But soon enough, she turns her unfortunate task into a delicious payback. While the hottest bachelor in town pursues her and the biggest real estate deal of her life hangs in the balance, the man who gave Sophie up—suddenly Daddy of the Year—seems determined to sabotage her future with a new man who could give her everything.

I have been making up stories since I was five, when I scribbled on my grandfather’s notepads my first tall tale about pigs flying. Yes, I started that shtick. You’re welcome. Since then, I’ve written just about everything and for various websites and clients, including humor features for Playgirl Magazine. That was fun. I was also a cast member of the 2011 Listen to Your Mother Show in Austin.

Today, I’m the author of romantic comedy and dark fantasy. My romantic comedies are saucy cross-genre stories about modern relationships. My dark fantasies are very dark and on the lusty side.

My feelings about writing can be summed up in a favorite quote from Robert Heinlein who quipped, “Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of, but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards.” My thoughts may not always be clean, but my hands are.

A tale of love lost and found, Take My Husband, Please is a madcap romantic comedy by Kimberly Jayne. With a divorce looming Sophie Camden is ready for love, lust, freedom and fun, especially with hunky realtor Mitch Houdini. There's only one problem, Sophie’s husband and former 80's rocker insists on moving back in for a "few weeks" until he regains his financial footing.
Will Camden has had a string of bad luck, from the death of his father to layoffs and poor investments that threaten to leave him homeless. Asking Sophie for help is the last thing he wants to do especially once she finds out that the house may be part of the assets liquidated.
All Sophie wants to do is date again, but the new guy is reluctant to do so with the old guy still in the house, so along with her friends Sophie hatches a mad-cap scheme to get Will on five blind dates.
Can she get Will out of her hair and get on with her new love life? Or will her husband's presence stir up some old embers once more?
Take My Husband, Please by Kimberly Jayne is an amusing yarn with memorable characters as well as memorable antics of hilarity. It seems like the louder Will and Sophie claim to dislike each other the more times they appear in each others presence.
Not your typical romantic comedy, the players might be a little older and divorcing instead of single, but Jayne manages to put a fresh spin on an old plot. And she keeps the gags coming. Literally, the Camdens, as their own words, are a family of barfers. Even the cat!
A quick fun read of love lost and found in the most unexpected of places.

What is a woman to do when she is trying to move on with her life, but her husband has yet to sign the divorce papers, and now has shown up in her house without a place to live? For Sophie, the choice is to try to pawn him off on another woman so that she can move on with her life. Trouble is that Will is not wanting to move on as much, and he has some deep secrets that could spell major trouble for Sophie if she finds out about them, so he is willing to go along with her dating scheme just to keep his secrets. Take my Husband, Please is a contemporary modern romance story of two sets of best friends, their failed marriages, divorces and friendships. Although there is some humor throughout, it is more a realistic look at modern dating when divorced. Author Kimberly Jayne creates a wonderful set of characters that are engaging and worth reading about.

Take My Husband, Please is an adult fiction, definitely rated for the more mature crowd and not for younger readers, but it does hit upon a number of things at the divorced single mother, back in the dating game is going to run into. While the characters are engaging and the banter light-hearted, it is more of a humorous look at life than a romance in the true since. Every time Sophie or Will seems to be getting to a point of interest on a date, something ironic or out of the blue totally ruins the moment, and so it isn't the sizzle romance that you might expect. Good, light reading to get you laughing a little and not thinking, which we all need sometimes.

Really loved this hilariously sweet book from one of my favorite bloggers. Sophie and Will’s story is all about love, loyalty and humor, and I found myself rooting for both of them to find each other again while carving out better places for themselves, too. The cast of supporting characters was also terrifically funny, and I found myself laughing out loud more often than not. I hear there might be a sequel and I sure hope that’s true -- can’t wait to read whatever comes next from this talented author!

This was a great story! Full of witty banter and colorful characters. I really enjoyed ever second of this book. Its a real life scenario that so many go through. How to deal with a person that you once loved. Or well still love. The thing about love is that it never really goes away. This book nails that straight square on the head. There were so many times I literally laughed out loud during this book. I can't wait to see future stories from this Author.
