About the author

I’m a romantic at heart, having married my high school sweetheart, who is still the love of my life. While raising our two children, I was a “closet” writer and managed to complete four books. With the e-book explosion, I bottled up my courage and selected my favorite book, reworked the story line, and self-published “Elusive Obsession,” November 6, 2013.
I like to create characters that the reader can relate to/with. Sometimes while writing a scene, I find myself laughing out loud at the hilarious situations I literally toss them into. They’re not perfect with beautiful bodies, they make mistakes, their not afraid to say I’m sorry, they are not afraid to compromise and they suffer all human emotions. Most important, they love with all their heart..
I like to read books with a “twist” or two in the storyline and you’ll find these OMG situations in my stories. They are stand alone books, but I bring the characters from the first book into the follow-up story. I’ve already got readers clamoring for the next book, “Maid to Order”, that centers around Russell, a character from “Elusive Obsession.”

Lincoln Adams returns to a town he left when he was an angry eighteen year old with a chip on his shoulder. He doesn't make a very good impression on the tiny towns female cop, Sgt. Jessie Taylor. Turns out Jessie is the girl Linc left behind....the cute young girl has become a beautiful woman and Linc will do anything to win back her affections.

I so enjoy my good friend Judy's books. They have humor, mystery, intrigue, suspense and lovely romance all rolled into one totally awesome book. I'm actually in this book as one of the characters. I was so excited as I read the book and found my character Lisa Kay falling for an older yet handsome biker guy who also loves bats!!

I encourage readers to give this book as well as Judy's other humorous romances a try...Elusive Obsession and Maid To Order. Judy is an extremely talented writer and her books are a refreshing getaway for those who love romance!!

5 Romantic Stars! I've loved Linc's character since the series started, and his book did not disappoint:) Lots of suspense and continuity...and, of course, romance. Sweet and quirky characters in a quaint backdrop were peppered with re-visitations of our favorite characters from the first two books. I enjoyed 'seeing' people I know as characters...one even gets her own HEA;) Kentrus leaves some untied ends as bait for the next book. Well done!

Thoroughly enjoyed Linc's story - very good introduction to the main characters and secondary characters. A good murder mystery, topped with a very nice love story filled with both angst and joy.

You can tell Judy Kentrus has done her research for this book - loved all the parts about the shale gas, including the background on the Magellan (sp?) gas field.

How could you not love the little girls - Short Stop (Triple Trouble), Trouble, and Double Trouble :) I love the Cupcake and Muffin too.

Judy keeps getting better

I have been waiting almost as long as Linc has his story told. I love stories where the hero's are not perfect because of past events and problems but who do love and protect their beautiful, tough strong women who also are venerable. Jesse loves her daughter, and her family. She is one tough cop. No one writes romance like Judy. No one writes love of family like Judy, And no one, I repeat, no one writes a mystery like Judy Kentrus. I found myself saying out loud "I did not see that coming" a couple of times. I laughed out loud, cried real tears, and feel in love with this story and these characters. And we get to catch up with characters from the other books. Hurry up and write more Judy.

This book is all about Linc and Jessie . If you haven't read Judy's other books ( Elusive Obsession and Maid To Order)... you are missing out! It has all the stuff you look for in a good romance.
Love, humor ,lot of suspense , intrigue and hot scenes..The story line was really good and your emotions will be all over the place .
This is such a sexy, emotional story that I completely devoured! You will be turning the last page with a satisfied smile and still craving for more .
Get your heart pumping with this HOT read by Judy Kentrus. Go buy her books!!!! You won't be disappointed!!
