Author is successful in representing the so called societal situations and incidents. Unstoppable once you start reading.it's a history related but nowhere you will feel like boring.. And that too author took us to those days how really the society used to be.one needs to know from where to where we have moved in all the aspects like cultural,superstitious attitudes ,caste based things,struggles to change the untouchabilties etc...
