Yarylo's Property

Rate this book
She was supposed to be a debt.

He made her his wife.

After an accident steals her mobility, her memories, and the life she knew, Oryslava is left dependent on people who never truly protected her. Then a desperate gamble drags her into the world of Ignat a ruthless Clan boss with a reputation built on violence, control, and debts no one escapes.

Ignat does not believe in mercy.

But Oryslava is not what he expected. She is fragile only where the world broke her. Underneath, she is sharp, stubborn, and impossible to look away from. What begins as a brutal bargain becomes a marriage neither of them can treat as pretend.

In Yarylo's world, protection is possession.

And once Oryslava learns the rules, she may become more dangerous than the man who claimed her.

Yarylo's Property is a dark mafia romance with a possessive antihero, a resilient heroine, forced marriage, criminal power games, and explicit adult content.

This story contains dark themes and is intended for mature readers.

If you want to read a cool mafia novel, then this book and the entire series are what you need. The mafia world is described in great detail. From the first pages, you immerse yourself in it. Everything is so well written that it's like you're watching a TV series. If you like crazy love, action and mysteries that last for years, then you will definitely like it. You will find yourself in a world where a mafia man shows how madly in love and obsessed with his woman he is.
Oryslava, having been captured by Yarylo, does not give up, but on the contrary, shows her character and intelligence. She is strong, strong-willed, domineering. Yarylo, who has unlimited power, falls under the spell of Oryslava and falls madly in love with her. In some events, he makes her so strong that he is surprised himself. He admires her, worships her. He gives her not only his love and heart, but also his power. The power they share together. Would you agree, where else would you read this? And Oryslava...? God, what had she been through? Do you think at least something broke it? Not for the life of me! She was ready to level the whole city to the ground for her Yaryl. She had subjugated the entire clan. Yarylo and Oryslava are an amazing couple, they have crazy chemistry.: passion, love, tenderness, trust, mutual understanding. They always hear each other and talk in a way that will make you laugh, cry, and feel sad. You will have a great time with this book, and you will want to read the following books — I guarantee you one hundred percent! ❤️❤️❤️

Okay, full disclosure: I originally read this in Ukrainian while it was still being written — chapter by chapter, refreshing the page like it was my job. So yes, I was always going to pick up the English release, and I'm happy to say it holds up.
The premise: a mafia boss fakes his own death to smoke out his enemies… and instead watches his wife take over his clans, burn half the city, and charm the detective investigating his "murder" — all to avenge him. She thinks she's a widow. He has some explaining to do.
The wife is the reason to read this. She doesn't wait to be rescued, she doesn't fall apart, and some of her power plays are honestly cold-blooded in the best way. Yarylo is your classic morally grey MMC, but his obsession with her feels earned, not creepy. Their dialogue has actual bite — I highlighted way too many lines.
Minor gripes: the clan politics get dense in the middle, and I wanted a bit more time with one side character (not saying who). Still — if you like dark mafia romance with a heroine who could run the whole empire herself, get this.

Good first book in the series.

Ends in a cliffhanger. The action and steamy scenes are good. Oryslava is a strong heroine. Her character growth is good. Ignat and she have good chemistry. There are twists in the plot. I wanted to see Ignat grovel. I will be reading the next book.

I like the story a lot. I got confused with so many similar names. I didn't understand why Ignat had different names, but at thevend of the book, the author explained all that. Now, on to book 2!
