In book 2, Lost Without You, we continue right where book 1 left us. The trauma and heartbreak unravels and hits hard right at the beginning. This story, at its heart, is a story of navigating life after trauma, finding a way to move on as well as delivering vengeance. The rage and revenge is written well and holds your attention. Seeing the relationship between the main characters repair and continue on is wonderful. The relationships forming between side characters are also very interesting and well formed. And just like book 1 the spice is spicing.
The writing style is similiar to book 1 in that I feel it is either poorly translated from another language or could use one more edit. However, the story itself is developed well and we are again left on a cliffhanger that I didn't see coming. I am anxious to see how book 3 wraps up this incredibly spicy trilogy.
