Now that I know how Phoebe feels and where she’s working, nothing’s going to stop me from being by her side. If it’s the last thing I do, I’m going to convince her that she’s the one for me, for my daughter, and together, we can create the family I’ve longed to have.
I don’t waste any time getting to her, or letting her know how I feel, and until she’s done with her contract, I’ll be by her side, helping in any way possible. But in true Steel Raiders MC fashion, my brothers don’t leave me hanging out to dry, showing up to lend their own hands as well as expertise to help those who lost so much.
Seeing Phoebe in her element with her best friend, helping others by using the nursing skills she’s honed over the years has me in awe of my woman. She’s fiercely independent, so I know that while she’s onboard with there being an ‘us’, I need to give her the freedom to spread her wings whenever she needs to do so, especially since the agency she occasionally travels with interacts just like I do with my brothers—as though they’re a family.
Despite the chaos we deal with in the mountains, I’ve finally found what I was searching for all along.
Lover of words. Author of "perfectly imperfect romance". Since starting this journey in August 2016, I've published eight books, two children's books, and have been part of two different coloring books. In short, I'm fulfilling a lifelong dream and would love to have you join me!
The new story continues the saga of Prophet and Phoebe. It picks up as Prophet leaves to meet phoebe where she's doing her traveling nurse assignment in North Carolina. The assignment takes a turn when Phoebe is badly injured while trading a man trapped in a hole. Their happy ending is still intact, though. There's also a hint of a new romance for another club member. It will be a hard battle to win, though.
This one was fun to read. I liked seeing Phoebe and Prophet figure things out, no drama, just 2 people that love and support each other. Prophet getting to see Phoebe at work was a great thing, it allowed him to see how important that was for her and helped them figure out part of their future. It was nice to see them all happy at the end.
Completely sweet. Love, just love throughout the book. Prophet has fallen in love, hard and he embraces it and follows Phoebe to show her he means he’s all in. No drama, just love.
