Aiden & Lily is a change of thought for how Aiden has thought his life was going to work out.  He has been a good nurse at the local hospital, his best friend was Mathew, the doctor that had always warned him against dating any of his family.  Aiden had been one that had the ability to flirt and the looks to be able to get a date without any trouble.  He also had a hobby that started on a dare but he enjoyed it and on occasion would sign up to ride in the amateur bronc riding division at the rodeo.   With that came buckle bunnies and Aiden who used his middle name for the rodeo, Christopher, enjoyed that also.  He had the hat, the boots, the jeans, and competed occasionally in the rodeo but that didn’t make him a true cowboy without knowing how to be a cowboy.  He seen his life as dating a girl a time or two and on to the next.  He had dated girls from towns over from Cooper Creek as to not have to run into them at work.  But this particular night he had seen a girl walking up the stands for the rodeo as he is getting set to ride.  After his ride was over he couldn’t find her in the crowd.  That face stays in his head bothering him the entire next week.  So he goes to the country club to see if he finds her there.  And sure enough Lily is there with her twin Jasmine that is meeting her boyfriend.  When Aiden gets close enough to the twins Lily turns around and recognizes Christopher from the rodeo.  He did not tell her he went by Aiden.  Mistake #1.  As they start to date in secret he finds out that she is a Taylor, meaning the cousin of Mathew his friend that warned him not to date his family.  Mistake #2.  Then he finds out that his friend that he was just getting to be around again was the guy Lily referred to as her ex.  He did not admit he knew Reese or tell Reese he was dating his ex.  Mistake #3.  Lily finds out he has not been completely honest with her and she had a no second chance rule.  Because of this he is afraid to tell her, Mathew or Reese.  Can he ever get this corrected with all of them without losing Lily?

Aiden & Lily is a Christian, heartwarming, small town romance with themes of honesty, the aftereffects of lies and secrets, and the power of forgiveness. Aiden just keeps enlarging the hole he is in with Lily, someone who values honesty almost above all other traits. Even when he confesses a secret to Lily, he keeps more secrets from her. I really wondered how many times she would forgive him! As always, Ms. Dean manages to redeem her characters and craft them an HEA. I enjoyed the sparks between Lily and Aiden but I wished he had been a bit more honest. OF course, then we would not have this entertaining book!

Aiden & Lily

What a wonderful book! Lily Taylor believes in love, marriage, and truth above all. When she meets Christopher Stone, she is smitten. Aiden Stone is a nurse who enjoys participating in rodeos during his spare time. He is not relationship material. When he sees Lily, he has an immediate connection with her. Thinking if he takes her on his usual one date, then maybe he would not think about her again. His plan seems to backfire on him and he is much more invested in the relationship than he had planned. However, he is hiding too many secrets from her and she does not like deception. What happens when the secrets become known one at a time?

Sweet, Charming, & Lovely

Natalie Dean does it again! This one was sweet and charming, exactly what I've come to expect from her books. There's something so comforting about picking up one of her stories and knowing you're in for a love story that will make your heart happy.

Aiden and Lily were easy to root for, and I enjoyed every step of their journey together. Her books are the reading equivalent of a cozy blanket and a warm cup of coffee, the perfect reset when you need something light and lovely. Another great addition to my Natalie Dean shelf.

🌟 Rating: 4.5/5
Would recommend to: Readers who love clean romance, sweet love stories, and swoony small-town charm. 🌸💛

The third book in the Taylors of Copper Creek series. Overall, it is a well-written, heartwarming Christian romance with a great storyline and engaging characters. I enjoyed the dynamic between Lily Taylor and Aiden Stone, though I wished Aiden had been honest about his secrets earlier in the story given Lily's focus on honesty. However, you successfully redeemed the characters and crafted a wonderful happily-ever-after, making it a very entertaining read. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book won’t let you down with all the vibrant characters and intriguing storyline. The relationships between families and friends are so detailed, it was like I knew them all. There is lots of drama, tension, gripping scenes, warm moments, and so much more that you won’t want to put it down, especially with the surprise at the end.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced review copy of this book.

Enjoyable characters! This is a great story with characters from previous books. An entertaining romance, tangled baggage from both parties that leads to keeping secrets. I enjoyed this story and found it hard to put down.

Aiden and Lily's story is fantastic. It tackles the importance of honesty, the fallout of secrets, and the restorative power of forgiveness. I loved the characters; they were very well-developed and believable. The book ends on somewhat of a cliffhanger, so I'm anxiously awaiting the next story!
