Expected 23 Feb 27Let the men of Dirty Magic put a spell on you, in this irresistible paranormal romance.
Going to a male revue is the absolute last way self-proclaimed introvert Ellie Beckett imagined spending her Saturday night. But it’s Mac’s bachelorette party, and Ellie will do anything for her best friends…including stepping onto the stage for a lap dance. When the performer makes every bead of moisture on her skin heat and cool with just a few words, she can’t help but wonder if there might be more to the “magic” in the Dirty Magic show than the men are letting on.
Ethan Riley was ready to put his past behind him when he joined Dirty Magic years ago. He and the other men swore to keep their powers a secret and devote themselves to making magic for their female audiences. But there’s something special about the woman he brings on stage that makes him reconsider his vows.
Strange things begin to happen when a once-in-a-generation snowstorm strands the Dirty Magic crew in Ellie’s hometown. A darkness may have followed Ethan to Mary’s crossing, but the more he and Ellie search for answers, the more their attraction becomes impossible to resist. As the small-town becomes crowded with secrets and spells, Ethan and Ellie must decide whether to give in to the passion between them, or risk dancing around their feelings forever.

Magic Mike...but he's actually a magical sexy witch.
This was the easiest 5 stars I've given in a while. I binged this in practically one sitting and it was an amazing experience. This book was everything I could ask for in a Male Revue inspired paranormal romance.
The first major standout was the chemistry 🔥 The contrast between Ethan's sensuality and Ellie's innocence was a recipe for piping hot chemistry. And I can't forget to mention how HOT Ethan is. I mean, glistening abs, rippling back muscles, and the whole flexible thing really got me going. But the cherry on top was his magical abilities. What's sexier than a male witch? I didn't even think male witches existed, but this book opened my eyes and blew my mind. The concept was so fresh and new; I loved this book's take on witches and paranormal elements in general.
Next, this book got found family right! Ellie had her close knit group of friends and Ethan had his coven of witches. The banter was so good between the groups and gave me warm and fuzzy feelings. I also loved that while Ethan was pining after Ellie, the other witches were pining over Ellie's friends. The romance was in the air! All the little side romantic plots added so much depth and fun to the story.
I really don't want to spoil anything, but the purpose of the male witches' magic was truly heartwarming for me. Definitely a highlight and I'm sad I can't share with you guys! I guess you'll just have to read the book yourself! 😉 In all seriousness, this book was so worth it. The small town setting was lovely and I loved the addition of the Knotty Knitters group. They added so much spunk and quirkiness to the town.

Don't judge me i know this was the fastest read and review ever... ANYWAY 😝🙂↕️😍😭🤭😅🤣
What an AMAZING debut. Like seriously. This was so spectacular. I was hooked though the ENTIRE book.
Imagine Magic Mike... but with sexy witches.
This was SO different and so much fun. Ellie finds herself caught up in a smalltown mystery filled with magic, secrets, unexpected snowstorm chaos, and one very sexy man who makes it increasingly difficult for her to pretend she isn’t completely intrigued.
I just loved everything about Ellie. She was so easy to root for, and I absolutely adored her world—her sweet friends, the smalltown atmosphere, and all the secrets lurking underneath everything. 👀 There was this constant feeling that there were people who knew WAY more than Ellie, and I had so much fun slowly putting pieces together, making assumptions, and trying to figure out what the heck was actually going on.
And Ethan and Ellie together? OH MY GOSH. The sexual tension was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. 🥵 From their very first meeting, I knew their chemistry was going to be off the charts, and this book absolutely delivered. I could feel that slow, torturous burn just sitting there between them, waiting for it to finally snap 😭
I also adored the friendships. Ellie’s girl group was so supportive and genuinely sweet, and Ethan and his coven had that same kind of deep, ride-or-die bond. I almost teared up at one point just watching how fiercely they cared about each other. Give me found family and people who would absolutely show up when it matters and I AM SOLD. 🙂↕️
And when things started getting tense??? I was on the edge of my seat. The lack of answers had me freaking out, trying to piece everything together, and I genuinely could not stop reading. Every time I thought I had something figured out, I was immediately questioning myself again.
Honestly, I enjoyed every part of this. I flew through it, and while I’m sad it’s over, I’m already wondering which sexy man we’re getting next because I NEED TO KNOW😂 (my guess is Bear or Logan 👀)

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. 3.25⭐️ Male exotic dancers who are also witches? Colour me intrigued! This was a cute little romance that delivered on some spooky vibes and was packed with enough mystery and plot to keep me turning pages. Unfortunately, Ellie and Ethan’s relationship was a bit too insta-love for me, while also lacking incredible banter that can often work to compensate for that.

Dirty Magic by Tatum Dallas 🔮✨
I absolutely binged this book in less than 24 hours, and honestly, that says everything! 😂 Dirty Magic was such a fun, engaging, and swoony read that completely pulled me in. Once I started, I just couldn’t stop reading!
The main characters had the BEST chemistry! Their dynamic was one of my favorite parts of the story, and I loved all the tension, attraction, and swoony moments between them. They just worked so well together, and I was completely invested in seeing where their relationship would go. 🥰🔥
I also absolutely adored the paranormal aspect of the story! It added such a fun and unique layer to the romance, and I really enjoyed discovering more about this world as I read. Everything was so unique, and I loved how creative the whole concept was. It definitely made the story stand out for me!
And the writing?! I loved it. It was so easy to get swept into the story, and the pacing kept me hooked from beginning to end. There was always something happening, but it never felt overwhelming, and I just flew through the pages.
Overall, Dirty Magic was such an entertaining read. It had great chemistry, a unique paranormal world, fun characters, and plenty of swoony moments. It definitely kept me hooked, and any book I can binge in under 24 hours is doing something right! 😂💕

The premise of this book is outstanding, small town vibes, found family, the magic that we love from a good Halloween movie, and throw in the energy of Magic Mike. The cover art and premise of this book caught my eye months ago. But did Tatum Dallas deliver a holistic story in Dirty Magic? Unfortunately, no. I'm only giving the book 3 stars because of the originality of the idea, I'll give credit when it's warranted. But the rest...wasn't well executed.
Dirty Magic needs a stronger storyboard, contextualizing the lore that runs in this series (that's clearly being set up by the author), and would've benefited from revisions. Cut certain scenes, add/remove more emotional beats, rework the timelines, and yes...an overall rewrite. Ethan and Ellie's paranormal romp doesn't shine or spark. I had a lot of 'maybe' moments in my notes of how the narrative could've been stronger. For example, maybe if this was set during Halloween?
You can also feel the desperate rush to set up future books and a potential universe. I get it, there's a lot to fit into a debut novel. But creating a found family (especially in this book) needs to be organic in the writing, and as a reader it felt forced. I could legitimately feel the pairings made and being set up for more...and it didn't feel organic. I cannot state this enough, the aspect of found family could've been a stronger pillar of the overall narrative and it was fumbled.
Overall, I was drawn in by the originality of the concept, but in the end everything kind of fell...flat. I wanted this to be an exciting read but alas...it didn't meet my expectations.
My thanks to Berkley Romance and Berkley Publishing for the early copy. #BerkleyPartner

From the first page, I was drawn in. The pacing was perfect and before I knew it, a spell must have been cast over me by the coven in the book because I was somehow 30% in and had lost all concept of time and reality.
The premise itself is completely over the top. But did that deter from the fact that you’ll fall in love with both the FMC and MMC, who have their own little found families that will do anything for them? Honestly… it made them all the more endearing. The chemistry between all the characters was effortless and made you want to ask if you could be their friend too. I loved their quips and roasting one another, while simultaneously doing anything and everything they could to support each other.
The merging of their friend groups warmed my heart. There’s chemistry and charm in abundance, along with a diverse cast of characters that all bring their own unique personalities to the table. It has just enough tension (particularly with– to remain spoiler free– the paranormal twist) to keep you turning those pages to find out what new layer to the story you’ll uncover.
Be sure to grab a copy when it’s released on February 23, 2027!

A storyline that's new and has all the feels.
I will say, it started slow for me... I didn't fully lock in till about the 50% mark (but I was also just in a busy part of my life; it could be a me thing). I REALLY enjoyed the story when things started to fall into line; I think at the start I didn't really know where the plot was going. THE TWIST was not what I was expecting at all!! It was soooo good!
There's a lot of ground-setting in this book for what I assume will be a series above the whole friend group. Sometimes I got a little lost in that and it felt like it took away from Ethan and Ellie's romance a little. I wish there were more scenes with them really connecting! I do also love a found family moment, and honestly, for me it hit!
My advice: Pick this up if the blurb sounds interesting to you! It was a super fun read even if it felt a little bit messy at times. I think this series will be super enjoyable! I'll be looking out for more from Tatum Dallas!

Thank you to Tatum Dallas and Berkley Publishing for providing me with an advance reading copy of Dirty Magic in exchange for an honest review.
I was genuinely SO surprised by this book.
When I first read the synopsis, my immediate thought was: “Magic Mike but with actual magic strippers?! This is either going to be absolutely cringey and horrible, or it’s going to be hilarious and cute.” 😂 Thankfully, it was VERY much the latter.
I ended up enjoying this way more than I expected to. It starts off feeling like Magic Mike meets witchcraft, but it actually turns into this adorable, lighthearted witchy rom-com. And honestly, the stripping is barely even the focus of the story. The real heart of the book is the magic, the small town, the people who live there, and the relationships between them.
I also LOVED the spice level. It was the perfect amount for this story—enough to keep things interesting without turning the book into straight-up smut or letting the spice overshadow the actual romance and plot.
Ethan and Ellie were both great main characters, and I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop. There were definitely some cheesy moments, but they were the kind of cheesy that somehow worked and didn’t take away from the heart of the story.
At one point, I did wonder if there were maybe too many plotlines happening at once, but everything actually came together really nicely by the end, and we get a satisfying HEA. My only real complaint is that I wanted MORE at the end! I would have loved an epilogue—or even just a few extra chapters—to see what happens with Ellie and Ethan and the magical little town. I wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye to them yet.
Overall, this was such a fun surprise. I went in expecting either a ridiculous disaster or a cheesy mess and instead got a genuinely cute, funny, witchy love story that I really enjoyed.
Would absolutely recommend if you’re looking for a fun, lighthearted witchy rom-com with a little spice! 🧙♀️✨

"Magic Mike" meets Mayberry in this inventive romance with a paranormal twist.
Shy, quiet Ellie reluctantly joins her gal pals for a bachelorette party where the main attraction is MEN. Specifically, the sexy dance crew known as Dirty Magic. But when they pull the girls on-stage, Ellie begins to suspect there might be more to the “magic” in their show than the men are letting on.
Ethan Riley and his friends devote themselves to bewitching their female audiences. He feels an immediate connection with Ellie, beyond just physical attraction; what secrets is she hiding? When a freak snowstorm strands the guys in tiny Mary's Crossing, those secrets start to come to light -- and Ethan has some pretty big secrets of his own.
Bonus points for this one being set in my home state of Ohio!
I really loved the 'found family' aspect of Ethan and his friends, and enjoyed getting to know the crew. Although, I had a hard time seeing them constantly referenced as witches; to me, they should be warlocks. (Blame growing up with 'Bewitched', "Dark Shadows' and "The Addams Family'.) His backstory was much more compelling than Ellie's and I was really invested in how it would turn out.
The small-town setting was a charming angle, with cozy businesses, and quirky characters galore. (The tragic demise of the Peanut Butter factory, the town's main employer, was an inspired touch.)
There were a lot of plot threads -- magic and paranormal creatures, a mystery, friendship, gaining self-confidence, PTSD from childhood trauma, not to mention the romance, complete with spicy sex scenes. Some of them got a bit lost; I'm not quite sure how the HEA ending would play out after the book ends. But it was a unique and fun read!

Dirty Magic was such a fun surprise for me. I’m always hooked by a unique premise, and a Magic Mike style performance group mixed with witches, romance, and a small town mystery immediately had my attention.
I was instantly hooked by Ethan and Ellie’s first interaction. The chemistry was 🔥 and their attraction was definitely steamy, but what I really appreciated was how safe their dynamic felt. There was so much tension between them without Ellie ever feeling pressured, and I loved the way Ethan respected her boundaries while still making their connection feel incredibly sexy.
The side characters were another huge highlight. Both Ellie and Ethan have such strong found family dynamics, and I loved watching their groups come together. Everyone had their own personality, and their friendships added so much heart and humor to the story.
The small town setting also gave me major Gilmore Girls vibes. I loved the quirky older townspeople who popped up throughout the story and brought so much personality to the community. The Knotty Knitters especially made me laugh.
I was also pleasantly surprised by how much mystery and suspense there was. I went in expecting a fun paranormal romance with plenty of spice, but there was so much more happening underneath the surface. I genuinely wasn’t sure where some of the twists were going, which kept me turning the pages.
A sexy magical performance group, sweet romance, found family, small town charm, and a mystery I actually wanted to solve? I had a really good time with this one. 🔮🔥

A sexy magical performance group, sweet romance, found family, small town charm, and a mystery I actually wanted to solve? I had a really good time with this one. 🔮🔥

Thank you to Berkley and NetGalley for the opportunity to read Dirty Magic early! This book was a lot of fun. The premise was very interesting and I was really excited by the blurb to give it a shot!
Ellie and her friends go see a group of strippers for her friend’s bachelorette party, and the men turn out to be witches. To the girls’ surprise, the men end up breaking down outside their little town in the middle of a blizzard, forcing them to stay in the town for a while.
I did enjoy the story. I thought that Dirty Magic was Mystical, Whimsical, and Mysterious. The mystery aspect really intrigued me. It was hokey and corny, but it took it and ran with it. I really enjoyed reading about characters like Bear, the leader of the stripper witches, and am extremely interested to know more about him.
There were some things that I felt could’ve been improved. The leads were just a tad dull. The book felt too long, and the climax came a little early for the length of the book. The further into the book I got, the more hokey it got, and it ended up feeling somewhat cheesy at the end.
Over all, I thought it was a fun and creative book. Very different from any other romance book I’ve read, and I liked that about it! I liked that it had magic and mystique, and everyone had a secret they were keeping. If you enjoy romance, spice, and magic, then you should definitely give this one a chance.

My most surprising read of the year so far - there's just so much more to the book than I was initially expecting! I was a little wary on a story involving heavily involving erotic dancing, but my curiosity on the magical elements of the premise won out and I'm so glad! I was hooked in by the mystery of who Lilah was, of what Ethan's vision meant, of Charlotte's illness, etc. There's so many small hints Tatum Dallas leaves in the narrative that I thought it was more cleverly done than some books that are even marketed as mysteries.
Written in dual point of view (my favorite!), it's love at first encounter for both, and the narrative does a nice job making it believable in explaining how Ethan finds Ellie intriguing. There's a theme of consent, from Dirty Magic's routine to Ellie's worries, and of found family with both leads. And if you're in it for spicy scenes based on the premise, then don't worry, this book delivers on that too.
I could have done without the mentions of "there's something about her" or "not like anyone else" kind of phrasing, but that's really the only main con I found. Even then, it's because it wasn't necessary when the writing otherwise did a nice job explaining why. Honestly, this was such a fun read! Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for this ARC!

This book just wasn’t for me, I struggled to get into it and understand how magic worked in this world. The reader learns as they go about that and other magical creatures. Despite the insistence that there will be investigation of a mystery, it is more disjointed and felt rushed, in all the plot takes place over about a week. Most readers should pick up the clues by the author of what evil is endangering the town. The characters’ decisions and motivations didn’t vibe with me, which didn’t have me invested in their emotional developments. It has plenty of classic tropes including the dreaded misunderstanding even if it each time it pops up it doesn’t tend to linger before some sort of resolution or it’s brushed away. I was always put off each time a character made a stripper joke or insulted the male dancers for their line of work, including those that weren’t setup to be antagonists (FMC Ellie and her friends). It is on the cozier side but does have open door spice, I think some of the cheesiness that comes from being cozy fell more on the cringe side than the endearing. I usually enjoy Found Family and there are two friend groups that are setup to be that for each other, but both groups hadn’t fully won me over despite the author repeatedly stating they were rude or die for each other.

The best way I can describe Dirty Magic is Charmed meets Sabrina the Teenage Witch, except Magic Mike shows up and just… stays. It’s silly, sexy, magical, and exactly the kind of ridiculous fun I didn’t know I needed.
Ellie gets dragged to a male revue for her best friend’s bachelorette party, only to discover that the “magic” might be a little more literal than advertised. Then a freak snowstorm rolls in, secrets start coming out, spells are involved, and Ellie finds herself tangled up in a small-town mystery—and with Ethan, a very attractive distraction who makes minding her own business increasingly difficult.
But what really won me over was the found family. Give me a group of people who roast each other relentlessly but will drop everything when one of them needs help, and I’m sold. Every. Single. Time.
Is the whole thing a little ridiculous? Absolutely. Did I care? Not even slightly. I binged it, had a ridiculously good time, and would happily come back for another round of magical stripper chaos.
Come for the abs. Stay for the magic, mystery, and found family.

Thank you to NetGalley, Berkley Publishing, and Tatum Dallas for an eARC in exchange for an honest review!
A silly, spooky little romp. I thought this had an intriguing premise (I mean, male witches who practice their magic through stripping?) and the first chapters hooked me right in. Ethan and Ellie were very sweet together. I loved how instantly smitten Ethan was. There was also a big emphasis on consent and making sure that the other person was comfortable. While Ellie is significantly inexperienced compared to Ethan, it plays a role in her character arc and isn't a detail that was added just for the heck of it. I want to point this out just in case this type of dynamic tends to irk some readers because I know it sometimes does for me.
In terms of plot, I think narratively this could have been cleaned up slightly more. The entire story takes place in just under a week. I personally thought the reveal of the bad guy was a little predictable, but maybe it's supposed to be? There genuinely was only one possible option.
It's evident that this is being set-up for a series following the other couples. I wouldn't be opposed to reading about these characters again, especially if it gives more room for this world to grow because I do think there's potential here.

I really enjoyed Dirty Magic. It was such a fun and unusual mix of romance, magic, mystery, and spice. The premise was definitely over-the-top, but somehow it worked and made the story stand out.
I loved the chemistry between the FMC and MMC, and their relationship kept me interested throughout. The found-family aspect was also a favorite of mine. The friendships, banter, and way everyone supported each other added a lot of charm to the story.
The paranormal elements were probably what intrigued me most. There were so many secrets and unexpected twists that I was always curious about what would happen next. I especially enjoyed the witches and the unique world the author created.
There were a few things that didn’t work as well for me. The main characters felt a little underdeveloped at times, and I thought the book could have been shorter. Some parts toward the end also felt a bit cheesy.
Overall, Dirty Magic was a creative and entertaining read. It’s definitely different from the typical romance, and if you enjoy paranormal romance with mystery, spice, and plenty of magic, I think you’ll have a good time with this one.

This book was actually much better than I thought it would be! I know that doesn't sound like a complement, but hear me out. I have had TERRIBLE luck this year with my reads this year, particularly with romance novels. And even though the cover art was really pretty, and the description was enticing, you just never really know what you're gonna get. But luckily, this one really came through!
From the very instant our main characters meet, there is sizzling chemistry. Pretty steamy! (See what I did there? Water? Steam? You get it.) I love a yearning MMC, and Ethan gave me every bit of that. Oh, and he's an adult entertainer?? Yummmmm!
So not only is the romance aspect really fun, but add in spells, magical beings, and some mystery, and this book had a lot going on, and it worked really well!
I will say that after the initial few chapters, the story seemed to slow down until about the 60% mark. It was still enjoyable, but it felt like I was kind of dragging through about half of the book.
Overall, I think this is a great debut novel and I hope we get more books in the future in Mary's Crossing with the Dirty Magic gang!

Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for my ARC of Dirty Magic!
The plot of this book was unique and fun and had a lot of potential: Magic Mike vibes with male witches that are called to protect feminine energy. Unfortunately, the execution of the whole thing wasn't to my taste. It started fun and cozy, then moved to more of a scary murder mystery, but the transition felt abrupt and unnatural. The plot twists didn't really match the overall vibes.
I also had a hard time with the writing. It felt like a lot of telling and not enough showing and feeling. I'm particularly sensitive to this difference in writing styles, and I prefer to be shown how characters are feeling through their actions, reactions, and experiences, rather than just being told that they feel a certain way. Because of this, I never really became emotionally invested in the romance. I can see this not being an issue for everyone, but it wasn't immersive and compelling to me so I struggled to stay engaged enough to care about the characters or the eventual payoff.

This book was so fun! Think paranormal romance with a little bit of Magic Mike energy thrown in.
Ellie gets pulled into a small-town mystery involving magic, secrets, an unexpected snowstorm, and one very distracting man. The chemistry between the main characters was easily one of my favorite parts. Their attraction, banter, and tension made their relationship so much fun to follow, and I was completely invested in seeing where things would go.
I also loved the paranormal elements. The magical world was creative and unexpected, and I enjoyed discovering more about it as the story unfolded. It gave the romance something extra and made the book feel really unique.
This would also make such a fun fall or Halloween-season read. Even though the story isn't actually set around Halloween, the witches and paranormal elements give it that perfect spooky-season vibe.
Overall, a fun, creative romance with great chemistry, plenty of magic, and a premise that definitely stands out!

So much more than magical strippers!
I thought I knew what to expect when starting Dirty Magic, but I was not prepared for all the heart, humor, friendship, and love that Tatum Dallas filled into the pages. The romance between Ellie and Ethan aside, I adored the friendships shown between Ellie and her girl gang and Ethan and his coven. It was refreshing to see both of the main characters have lives and support systems outside of their love interests. Multiple times I found myself giggling and cheering for these characters.
I was also not expecting the brand new world that Dallas was crafting (and am so stoked there are more books coming in this series!) The town of Mary's Crossing was so alive on page as where the magical elements and creatures that Dallas confidently wrote into the novel. There were a few surprises that I was suspicious of, but almost every reveal made me gasp.
This book is perfect for lovers of magic, romance, small town vibes, and the unstoppable power of best friends.
(The spicier moments in the book were very pleasant to read without being over the top.)

What’s better than a small-town romance? A small-town romance with magic!!
This book really kept me on my toes and had me trying to guess what would happen next. This story had more of a mystery aspect than I expected. And I loved creating my own theories, and being wrong most of the time. Although, I did manage to figure out a few things on my own.
I really liked Ellie, and I loved getting to see her grow more confident throughout the book. Ethan was just perfect for her. However, I do wish we got to see more of their relationship without all the drama surrounding their lives.
I loved the writing, although I did feel like the timing was a little off at times, which made some revelations happen too quickly. I also really liked the small-town, found-family feeling, which made this book so much better.
This book is perfect for people who enjoy a sweet romance, with enough action and magic to last a lifetime.

This was very different from my usual romance vibe. It’s still a romance, but it was much spookier and sadder than I expected. I still read it very quickly, because if there’s even a hint of suspense in a book, I have to keep reading until I have all the answers, but I didn’t love it like I’d hoped I would.
I’ve read a few books recently with magical elements to them that I’ve enjoyed, but this one just kept getting weirder and weirder. I felt like I was watching one of those CW shows, like Riverdale, that keeps going more off the rails with each season. I think maybe I needed more background info on why things went the way they did, but a lot of plot points were just explained away by magic. The spicy scenes were also very cringey for me to read. I typically enjoy the occasional paranormal romance, but I think this one just pushed the limits of believability too far for me.

This book was so FUN! A Magic Mike type of show with actual magic involved? Sign me UP.
The opening scene immediately hooked me, and I found the rest of the book to be just as engaging. There were some parts that felt over-the-top, but I really didn’t mind because I was so lost in the story. There was so much jam-packed into this book, but I still thought the pacing was well done. When taken at face value, the magic system was easy to understand and I didn’t notice inconsistencies or plot holes. The side characters were amazing, and the spice was top tier. I’m really hoping we’ll have the opportunity to read more books based in this universe!
I don’t really have any critiques for this book, which is surprising. I genuinely thought it was a fantastic, quick read. I’d highly recommend if you’re a fan of Sarah Adams, or if you’re looking for an easy romance to get lost in.

admittedly despite reading the blurb i was still not prepared for what i just read. it was so wholesome considering the main plot is chipndale dancers are secretly witches and help a small town. wasn’t entirely where this was going in the beginning, but man was i invested by chapter 5.
i loved all of this from start to finish. the small town, found family, and gossipy ol’ biddies who could probably kill you with a knitting needle no sweat. everyone felt fleshed out and wonderfully written.
we don’t often get male witches or even healthy male friendships featured prominently in books. i really liked the emphasis on their love and support of each other. i would’ve liked to have seen more memories of their earlier adventures and just know of them casually interacting in general.

Hmmmmm. I really loved the premise of Dirty Magic and I was super excited to get a review copy. I'm wrestling with this review a bit and I think I'll just do this list style.
A couple of things:
1. I enjoyed it.
2. It took me a while to read it. It felt slow in some spots with a lot of inner monologue that repeated a lot of information.
3. Loved all the FMCs- Ellie, Danielle, Mac, Sunny and Claire. I hope we get a book for each one of them and their correlating Dirty Magic guy.
4. Mary's Crossing reminded me of Sunnydale, all of the different characters, their true identities and the overall wackiness of the town and it's people.
There may be more... depending on how critical I want to get. Need to think about that.

Dirty Magic was such a fun read! I went into this not really knowing what to expect from a paranormal romance involving witches, magical male dancers, and a quirky small town, but somehow it all worked.
I loved the chemistry between Ellie and Ethan, the found-family friendships, and all the mystery surrounding the supernatural side of the story. There’s plenty of spice, but also so much heart, humor, and cozy small-town charm. It’s definitely a little wild and over-the-top at times, but that’s part of what made it so entertaining. If you’re looking for a romance that’s magical, steamy, quirky, and completely different, definitely give this one a try!

What’s better than a small-town romance? A small-town romance with magic…and strippers?!
I had the best time with Dirty Magic. It had everything I love about paranormal romance mixed with the sweet coziness of a small-town romance, and I was instantly hooked.
Ellie and Ethan had so much chemistry, and I was rooting for them from the beginning. Ethan was DOWN BAD, and I loved every second of it. Their romance was fun, sweet, and steamy, but I was also just as invested in the supporting characters. The entire Dirty Magic crew was so much fun, and I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing this turn into a series following the other guys.
The mystery subplot kept the story moving and added another layer beyond the romance. There were even a few twists that I genuinely didn’t see coming.
Overall, Dirty Magic surprised me in the best way. It was fun, magical, spicy, and full of characters I want to see more of. Thank you to Netgalley and Berkley Publishing Group for this E-ARC.
