Umm…what did I just read?
Where to begin….this is the first time that I can honestly say that both the MMC and FMC were irredeemable and unlikable. Solei and Money were simply put, toxic. I’ve enjoyed other books by this author before, but this wasn’t one I would recommend.
Solei never gave standards, nor standing on business. A man that was your first and greatest love disrespects you not once, not twice, but numerous times, throughout the ENTIRE marriage? And you ALLOW this person continued access to your body, mind, and home? Risking your health, emotional well being and your career?!! Yikes! She literally was all bark and nothing else.
I like my MMC to be about their FMC, and never undisciplined enough to allow outside heauxs access to them, to ruin their relationship. Childhood trauma is such a lazy excuse for poor character development and toxicity.
And probably an unpopular opinion…Solei WAS the villain in Darius’ story. She was never leaving Money, she was using this man for her own benefit as means of sticking it to her husband, and she wasn’t mature enough to leave that man alone. This story was just disappointing..their son had more sense than his parents. The wrapped ending still didn’t not change my opinion on this book. Wish I just stopped and DNF this one.

Money!
This book took us on a real journey. Money was used to getting what he wanted, but Solei made that man fight. The things they went through made my heart hurt for Solei. She stood on business and Money had no choice but to fall in line if he wanted to keep his wife. One thing about him though, he didn’t play about his wife.
I read this book in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down.
10’s across the board. Read it for yourself and go on the journey with Money, Solei, and their babies.

This took me through there lol
I really don't remember reading anything by Thee Tasha Marie, but babbbyyy now I have to go through her catalog!! This book had me from page one! Money and Solei took you through all the stages where you wanted to cry one minute. Help her jump Money the next, then turn around and curse out both of them😂😂 I loved every second of it. I don't like adding details from the books, so just read it. You will not be disappointed

It was okay
I read this book simply because I wanted to know if I would get triggered and I didn’t fr lol
I normally hate that cheat trope with a passion, but kept seeing people talk about this book so I wanted to see if I can handle it.
I think, because technically, my girl Solei got her get back even though it was late in the game and the cheating wasn’t on page it wasn’t too bad.
Money and Soul were cute. You can tell that they love each other, but Money was toxic, especially in the flashbacks and I felt like he did not get better within the almost 2 years of them being separated but it took their son to say something for him to change during the trip

Read it!
So I randomly saw her promoting AKA teasing people in Instagram with snippets and it had me hooked. Give me a plus size queen, black morally gray man, and I'm in! I'm never here for a cheating trope or a dual timeline. But I enjoyed it! Started and finished in a couple hours. I can't stand the unnecessary pain that Montana put her through; I would have snapped too. He def was not right for doing what he did to the doctor when he was out doing him #hypocrite. Didn't see her boo being like that!

Baby, this book put me through IT! Soul and Money are the true definition of struggle love in this book. Money is possessive, obsessive, and a little unhinged, but I loved him 😭. He loved his wife deeply, and to him, a separation was nothing but a piece of paper. He definitely put Soul through everything. Their love story was toxic, but the love they had for each other was genuine. I’m happy there was healing and character growth for both characters in the end. I loved reading this, but may this kind of love NEVER find me!

10 stars!!!!!
I almost gave up on Money! I am so glad Solei and I stuck it out with Money. Even though he took us through a lot, the love was always there. He just needed to do some inner work, and he did. This was a beautiful representation of redemption and second chances. I absolutely loved how this story ended.

This….pissed me off. I hate when the female main character is weak. Like why did you write her to be weak and succumb to this man that continuously cheated on her and couldn’t compromise? She just supposed to forgive all that shit. She did nothing to deserve majority of the shit she did. Then the characters saying what Darius did want her fault. YES TF IT WAS! They told her to break it off because she didn’t want him. She led him on. He even tried to give her an out and she ain’t take it. They drove him to that point playing in his face. I hated moneys character so bad. By Page 49 I was like oh this gonna be good, Solei gonna stand on business. EH WRONG ANSWER FOREHEAD. The bitch let him play in her face. Took him back reposts knowing she deserved better. I finished because I just don’t like not finishing books but absolutely not

not for me
I’ve read from this author before. I would not read this book again. The AI generated pictures were not necessary and I’m not a fan with books that have them. Both the FMC and MMC were unlikable and toxic. This story also seemed to drag on as i continued reading.

Money and his Soul
As I read this book, all my fingers were pointing at the FMC. Nevertheless, this was a journey of acceptance and growth.
Now, could both of them make better choices? Yes, they could have. But by the end, I saw two people who were growing and didn't know how to express themselves and be heard.
Money came from survival. He was raised by a single mom who worked 2 to 3 jobs, and they still didn't have enough. At the age of thirteen, he made a decision that stunted his emotional growth and mindset. Providing and control was love to him. He feared not being enough and being left by the person he considered "his person." He thought he would always be able to manipulate their relationship to be how he wanted it to be.
He was able to create a life that did not have an unmet want. He was respected and feared. To him, this meant he has made it, and he needs to do everything possible to maintain it
Solei is fed up and tired of Money not sticking to his promises. After 15 years, she petitions for a legal separation. Some time later, she finds herself engaged. Yes, engaged. Solei is growing and wants different things now. She does her best to convey this to Money, but he just placates her but never really changes. So, a separation is requested in hopes that he would understand that she is serious and not willing to invest any more of her life to a man who isn't listening to her.
Could she have made better choices, yes, because she knows the man she married. My gripe with the FMC is the danger that was introduced in the dynamic is due to her choices. But I digress.
We have two young adults who came together and didn't have the tools for healthy communication. Money thought he could control their dynamic and wasn't allowing Solie to grow and come into her own because of his own fears. Solie got frustrated with not being seen and her voice not being heard.
I feel like this separation was equivalent to a tantrum to be seen and heard. But it made the MMC lean up and understand that an end is possible.

Mss. Tasha you DID THIS. Absolutely loved this book. From the very first page to the very last page, I was completely captivated. The writing was superior, and the character development and growth? Whew. This story really showed how hurt people hurt people and how unhealed childhood trauma can shape the adult you become.
I don’t want to give away too many details, but let’s talk about Darius for a second. I was on Darius’ side at first, and all I’m going to say is he got what he deserved in the end. However, his fate could have been avoided if my girl would have just been honest with herself and with him. I did sympathize with his plight just a little bit. Then that sympathy crashed because, sir… you had a lot to say about her defending crooked people while being just as crooked yourself. So yeah, he had about 5% of my sympathy before he lost it completely.
And Money? Baby, Money was SUCH a complex character. He genuinely loved his wife and family, but fear ruled so many of his actions. I think once he realized she wasn’t going to be a pushover anymore and he couldn’t keep getting away with things, it really shook him. But what truly checked him was the conversation with his son on that balcony no 13-year-old should ever have to humble their father like that. That scene was powerful. Honestly, both scenes between him and his son — the balcony scene and the office scene — were profound because they forced him to see himself through his son’s eyes.
The friend support was amazing, and her mama ON POINT. Her mama tried to tell her!
I truly enjoyed this book. My only small thing is I wish she would’ve found a way to help Richardson in the end because while she was protecting her husband, Richardson was left to take the fall. Innocent or not, that part still stuck with me.
Other than that? I have no notes. This book was a page-turner from beginning to end, and I would reread it in a heartbeat. Bravo.

Money loves Solei how only an unhinged man can, good love, money and being in complete control of everything from his drug empire to his family. Yet, after all the years together and the ups and downs, from the failed promises to get out the drug game, deception, cheating, and run ins with the police, Solei has had enough. She files for separation and that’s where the story begins.
Presented with young love that turned hot and heavy and spans 15 years. You get pulled back to their past younger years, and the present. Their love is tumultuous, intense and chaotic. Money is a kingpin who falls for the pretty paralegal while he’s sitting in county jail, and claims her as his immediately, in his eyes.
They are toxic from the very beginning.
Both FMC & MMC just don’t seem likable fr, although Solei is a lawyer with a law firm and an impeccable record and reputation, she does indeed come off as weak.
Money seems to think control is love.
Only 50% of the way complete and already had at least 6 references that the MMC would burn the world down for the FMC, she says it, he says it, her mom, hell even his security guard. It’s redundant.
There are AI generated pics in the book
The book is 375 pages long, and it could’ve ended after chapter 26, which is 76% into the book. I dont think Solei owed Darrius closure, them going to couples therapy and Money going to therapy was nice, and renewing of the vows wrapped the story up into a cute little bow, yet it could’ve been left out and I would’ve been satisfied.
Needless to say, in the end, the characters have somewhat of a redemption arc and it works for them and their marriage.

Tashaaaaasaaaaaa Marie honey I kind of want to talk to you right quick in the parking lot lol. This book had me tripping, triggered, emotional, crying lol but I never stopped turning those pages. This book took me through it. It was so emotional yet so good. At first I was like Montana, a spoiled brat, but when I locked in I realized the un healed little boy that was showing up as a man. Does it justify what was going on? No. Does it happen? Yes. Darius true colors were a true plot twist for me.
This book reminded me that it’s ok to wake up one day and just choose YOU!! Love is powerful and so is becoming addicted to your spouse. Soul went through so much. Those flash back chapters had me wondering was the marriage even worth fighting for. Sometimes in marriages the sun won’t shine and that’s okay. (Not that cheating though lol) When Montana, saw how he was hurting the family through his son’s eyes I knew I was in for a ride. The conversation Junior had with his dad whewwww it had me so emotional.
Soul found her self, her purpose and her voice. Watching them heal as a unit was beautiful. The book has trigger warnings in the beginning so if you don’t like cheating…. Don’t read this one!! Go read her book, Love You Like That.
To Thee Tasha Marie thank you for sharing your art with us. This was your longest book ever and I am so proud of you!

3.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️½
Solei and Money both had me cursing them out while reading this book! They are literally the definition of toxic.
We have a marriage-in-distress storyline, and Solei has finally had enough of the broken promises, infidelity, and lies. She decides to legally separate from her husband, Money. Me? After everything Money put her through, I would have divorced him! 🤷🏽♀️
Solei didn’t stand on business enough for me. After all the hurt and betrayal, that man should have been begging, pleading, and groveling for his wife’s forgiveness. Especially after everything he put her through. Solei literally risked her career for this man, and he didn’t give a damn!
I honestly didn’t like Money at all. He was controlling, manipulative, and had me wanting to reach through the pages and shake Solei. 😩
I also wasn’t a fan of how Solei handled Darius. She knew damn well she wasn’t leaving her husband and still had strong feelings for Darius, yet she continued to lead him on. And honestly, Darius deserved better than being caught in the middle of their mess.
Overall, this was definitely a toxic, messy, drama-filled read that had me frustrated with just about everybody! 😂 While I had my issues with some of the characters’ choices, the story kept me invested enough to see how everything would play out.

Whew chile...I don't know what y'all read to get 700+ five-star reviews, but apparently I read a different book. 😂 This wasn't terrible. It was literally just...okay. The premise had potential and Money was definitely every bit of the unhinged man I was promised, but him and Solei were toxic as hell from the beginning and honestly neither one of them was particularly likable to me.
Money loved Solei, I don't question that. But baby, control and obsession are not the same thing as love. This man cheated, lied, continuously broke promises about leaving the streets and basically decided that Solei belonged to him regardless of what Solei had to say about it. Meanwhile, Solei is supposed to be this accomplished attorney at her a law firm and impeccable reputation, yet somehow she came across incredibly weak when it came to this man. I struggled with that disconnect throughout the book.
Oh, and the character pictures randomly inserted throughout the book? 🥴 Please don't do that to me. I already created these people in my head. 😂 Overall, it was an okay read. They eventually found something that worked for their toxic asses and I guess that's what matters. 😂 But 5 stars? Absolutely not over here. lol

Married to Money: A beautiful story of love and healing.
Married to Money was a heartfelt book about fighting for love. It was a story about becoming and healing. It was about two lovers recognizing that they’ll never love anyone else the way they love each other and figuring out how to live in that space and move forward. The strength they both exuded to do something different, so that they could not only save themselves but also their marriage, was unmatched.
This book was much different from the sexual experiences Thee Tasha Maria usually gives in her books, and she did the big one with this! There was still some spice, but this book was really about intimacy beyond the spice... it was about connecting. These two fought for each other, and I’m so happy they found their way back to each other.
My biggest complaint (without it being a real complaint) with the author is that her books are usually novellas. Her writing style is so amazing that you never want her books to end, lol! So I was incredibly excited that she chose to expand this one into a full novel. Great job on this one, including the graphics!

Money and his Soul
This was 😮💨😮💨😮💨 I have gotten to a point where cheating is mentioned it turns me off from a book. But this book here !! It was so real . The book started off them being separated so we literally read Money having to get his wife back from page one !!! We also seen a woman learning and finding her worth and not willing to put up with anything different once she found who she truly was !! You definitely feel every emotion in this book and Money is definitely a Fool! But he was a fool that realized he would be foolish to not get his family back . Darius 🫣 that’s all yall get from me about that character lol. But love and commitment isn’t always easy or black and white . Sometimes is mix matched and a lil crazy . But if it’s real and worth it you will work towards your masterpiece and that’s definitely what these two did !!! 5 star 🌟 👏🏽👏🏽

Emotional
This book took me through it. It was so emotional. I felt every emotion. It was a movie played in a book with great details.
Money was unhinged MMC. I saw how no matter what he wanted, he wanted what he wanted. It took Soul finally leaving and getting engaged to someone else to realize that he had to fight for his family.
Soul was a beautiful FMC. She did have to go through rough times to get what she wanted. Soul had to find herself .
Sometimes, couples dont make it through things like this. I am glad they were able to through therapy in the end to find their true selves. I went through it like the author stated in the beginning.
I would love to read a second book even though she said she wasn't writing a part 2.
I recommend this book. It was more than 5 stars

“Our love had been all-consuming-passionate, intense and destructive.”
If you are looking for a toxic, unhinged urban romance to add to your TBR:
-attorney, thick FMC
-kingpin MMC
-38 y/o MMC/36 y/o FMC
-multiple POV
-dual timeline (past/present)
-15 year marriage/13 years married
-cheating trope
-unhinged MMCs
-autism representation
-complex family dynamics
-gaslighting and manipulation
-stalking and kidnapping
-friendship
-vivid spice
-375 pages
NGL, this book pissed me off.
Everybody in this book needs a therapist.
Both Money & Solei are the presidents of the toxic club.
I haven’t read a book in a minute that had me heated for the MCs actions. Money didn’t deserve Solei and Solei didn’t know her worth. Whew.
If you are someone who enjoys their urban fiction with a side of romantic chaos then this may be the book you’re looking for.

Toxic And Chaotic Love!!
Montana a.k.a. Money perused Solei as she was working as paralegal. He wined and dined her. When they got married, their marriage license should have said Welcome to death row. Money got away with everything just because he was the one to protect, and provide. He was cheating with quite a few ladies, but when Solei steps out, he shoots her date. Then she gets her lick back and it's the end of the world. I thought when Darius was going to get his revenge my first thought he was going to the feds. Solei should have had her fun with Darius and been done with it. Money took Solei through a lot of ish. Therapy did Money a lot of good, he came to the realization that she didn't need him. Money got his family back and they are about to welcome another baby.

I really wanted to love this one but Solei folded too fast in my opinion. My good sis did not stand on business at all in this book 😩. I wanted to see Money sweat and actually put in the effort that she was wanting to win her back. The story fell flat for me when all it took was them having sex one time and then all of a sudden all was right between. The character development just seemed really surface level. I did enjoy the epilogue and I feel like if the story would’ve gone deeper into their journey of reconciliation then it would’ve made for a stronger love story in my opinion. All in all, the writing was solid and does draw you in, I just wish there was more work put in to restoring their marriage.

My first read by this author… hmmm I didn’t like Money as an MMC. The way the story was written (included lots of flashbacks) really made it difficult to see his redemption as a cheater! He was entitled and just plain wrong! His 7 day ultimatum whilst still not having changed was ridiculous. Then our FMC is a whole lawyer who accepted a proposal from a man whilst she is still legally married 🙃. Sigh yeah the characters and plot didn’t really do it for me. I would have preferred to perhaps see them together, break up and go through therapy. This story didn’t really give lessons on the effects of cheating or show us a strong FMC that stood on business and made the MMC change his ways. Money did what Money wanted and Soul fell in line but made a few demands along the way.

Truly a tug of war!
Whew Money & Soul took me thru it for a good 80% of the book! This really felt like a tug of war with their feelings because they both knew where they wanted to be but there was so much hurt there for them to rekindle sooner. Although there was so much back and forth with them i really enjoyed this story. Money knows he loved him some Soul, i could see his potential early in the story that he was going to get his wife back, although I hate the positions he would put Soul in with his manipulation and even her career. I even really enjoyed the kids when they were on page, Jr was def aware and made sure he let his dad know how he felt. This was a full standalone that held my attention the whole way thru.

couldn’t ask for more
Every time i see the word (Thee) i know i need to set an alarm. Because whatever thee Tasha Marie has written is never going to miss. Everything about soul and money was real, you could feel the hurt, the raw, the love in these characters. Now did i want to slap money cross the head a few times yes. And did i want to be there for one of souls girls nights, so i could shake the ish out of her, for waisting her and Darius’s time. But i couldn’t ask for a better read, characters, and the time it took from this author to layout a story that was real and between the heart, mind, safety, and growth of love.

Money and his Soul
Money and Soul were a ride k enjoyed. Money had big dawg energy and didn’t like not being in control. Soul been riding with him for a long time, but I was glad when she put her foot down and asked for what she needed and was serious. That’s what buddy needed. But the love was still there and i could read that’s. She put up a good fight but she knew where home was. I enjoyed her getting her licks back bc it humbled Money a lil bit. But Darius was good and crazy. I enjoyed this book and would recommend to anyone who likes loves stories with possessive MMC and a FMC who can’t be run over.

Toxic to Healthy Love
Money and Soul was it for me. I loved how they loved each other, even though they were toxic in the beginning. Sometimes you have to teach a man a lesson if he's taking you for granted and I think Soul did that. Whew that darn Darius was crazy but Money handled him accordingly. I had a feeling Soul was going to get pregnant again and I'm glad it was when they got their marriage back on track and Soul got the wedding she deserved. I really enjoyed this read andddddddd this was my first time reading this author's book, so I will say I will read another one of her books.

Whew!!!
Listen!! This was absolutely the wait!! Money, my God I don’t know whether to love or hate him to be honest. Correction, I do know how I feel and the answer is all Money ain’t good Money!! I enjoyed this book immensely from the very beginning to the end. This relationship is very toxic and while I do hold Solei responsible for some of her decisions I definitely blame Money and his actions for everything. But hey you reader, you download this book and you decide for yourself how you feel’ I love the whole book from beginning to end! What a time!!

So good!!
This was such a good book. Money was definitely unhinged but he LOVED his wife! He stood on big business all about his wife and his kids. I love how he pushed the limits and didn’t just give up. He put the work in and I loved that for Solei. Solei was the definition of boss! She was not to be played with and didn’t let nobody play in her face especially Money. I loved that she set boundaries and stuck wit them. Their growth individually and together was made me too happy. Definitely couple goals! I really enjoyed reading this book. 10/10 highly recommend
