This book was so good. In fact, the whole series is one of the best “fantasy” series I’ve read - and I have read A LOT over my 60+ years. The premise was intriguing and fun and nerve wracking. The characters were clear in my mind, and I loved the good guys and wanted the bad guys to be annihilated. The books were very hard to put down. Sometimes I had to stop reading and go do something else to calm down, because they were exciting and nerve wracking. But it wasn’t long before I had to find out what was going to happen next. And what happened next was rarely anticipated. I can’t recommend this series highly enough.

Why?

Why does the final book in the series need a sequel? Okay, so. Sam and Will love each other. So is she going to school with him? Is he staying there? With his 'beauty' and Sam's temper, I can't see a believable way that would work.
i m not asking for a storybook ending, but this one leaves too many items unresolved.
Some people enjoy cliffhanger ending as do I. But not as the series' final book.
I'm still a new fan, having gone on a Cidney Swanson shopping spree and preparing for a reading binge.

The last book of the series and the ending didn't disappoint me. However, I did feel annoyed with Sam. I was hoping she would be a badass, but she broke down at the beginning of the story! Gwyn was my favourite characters in this series, but I didn't like the way she rushed thing, especially without her mom's approval. Besides Sam and Gwyn, Mickie and Skandor also have a happy ending, and I thought Bridget Li had a thing with Sir Walter, but guess I was wrong.

While I liked the wrap up, the last bit in Las Abs was a bit too... abrupt. Georg's final arc is so anticlimactic. What happened after? How did it affect everyone? What about Antonia? I'd also have liked to see if Gwen kept her ability to ripple, since she had the gene and just hadn't been able to do it up until the water incident.

Lovely read

Excellent, I really enjoyed this whole series, and it was a lovely and fitting ending. I am going to start acting my age and go back to reading my usual fare, which insurer mysteries, but I very much enjoyed this wander into young adult stories. Cindy Swanson is a fine author.

Aw, shucks! The series is done. This was a well-rounded ending. Lots of anxiety and worry for the characters and how they would get through. Yet all threads are securely tied down. I do have a question, but rather than giving a spoiler, I will write the author.

Cidney Swanson is now one of my favorite authors. Her writing is so well done. She managed several plot lines and keeps the reader interested in all the characters, even those who are not so likable. She builds a world you can see and feel as the characters run or, um, kiss. You can feel the weather, humid or not, cold or hot. You can taste the cookies!

I am glad that this final book takes us back to Sam (Samantha) and her goals and problems and sees her through some of her own challenges. But it was nice to be able to get inside the heads of her friends and enemy. Ms. Swanson keeps the points of view separated and personal for each.

This is a great series for anyone, young adult and up. As a 65-year-old, I could still relate with all of it. In fact, the author includes people of other ages within the story, parents, step-parents, the ancient rippler who has learned to stay alive longer than anyone ever has. Most young adult books have the young people without older adults. Cidney manages to keep the story strong with all these people included.

Okay, I can't let this go by without a nod to my favorite of these two series that Cidney Swanson has developed, Saving Mars. Yes, I love the Rippler series, but Saving Mars is my all time favorite sci-fi of all time. Again, it is for the young adult and older. I highly recommend both series.

I can't wait to see what Ms. Swanson comes up with next!

This book was exceptionally well written but I found that it was the hardest to follow in terms of plot because there were so many characters and they were all in different parts of the world which caused the author to jump around a lot.

Perilous

-------------------------------------------

George is planning to save the world. The rest of the people think that they are safe, but they're now. Not until George's plan succeeds. George is planning to give every person in the world the power to turn invisible. He believes that after this occurs, people will never go hungry and they will always be vicorious over their enemies. George believes that he will create the perfect world.

George has also held Katrin in captivity for over a year, hoping that when she wakes up, she will fall in love with him after seeing his creation of the perfect world. When Sam and the others catch scent of his plot, they embark on a mission to save the world.

Moreover, Gwyn elopes with Chretin and her mother is disappointed in her. Will gets the idea from Gwyn to marry Sam but she isn't ready for such a commitment and Will takes that to mean that she doesn't want to be with him and leaves her devastated.

Will they figure it all out? Will they be able to stop George?

Character wise this was the best of the series. We got to learn so much more about each of these people we've come to know over the series. The storyline (predictable as it was) had much more meat than I expected and was delivered quite well.
The switch back to Sam's perspective was quite welcome in this book (although I would have much preferred at least one book from Will's POV) and was less monotonous than some of the earlier books...
Quite literally this series got better as it went on (after books 1 - 3) and peaked at this one. Good job Ms. Swanson!!
