When my pantheon dragged me from my throne, they called it justice.
I call it betrayal.
Now I’m trapped in the body of a 21 year-old, low-level witch with magic incompatible with this realm, and I’m SilverGate Academy’s newest anamoly case.
But SilverGate is built over old doors, and I only need the right one to open with the right ritual.
Unfortunately my quest has attracted attention from three of SilverGate’s most dangerous creatures
Hale: the hellhound who scents I’m not who everyone thinks I am.
Tobin: the witch prodigy who knows my spells aren’t failing because I’m powerless.
Leith: the reaper who looks at my soul and sees who I used to be.
They say they’ll help me find a way back to my realm for a price. I don’t care. I’ll pay it, because I didn’t lose my throne because I was weak.
I lost it because it took an entire pantheon to make me kneel, and the gods know it won’t happen again.

SilverGate will always have a special place in my heart, so I was thrilled that this story started there instead of following the usual dark academy formula. Beginning with Asha’s banishment immediately pulled me in, and I couldn’t wait to see where her journey would take her.
The characters were one of my favorite parts of the book. Tobin’s attitude toward Asha definitely had me raising an eyebrow, especially since everyone assumes she’s just a low-level witch. Hale quickly became someone I wanted more of because I loved every interaction he had with Asha, while Leith’s calm demeanor balanced the group nicely. Asha herself isn’t the easiest FMC to warm up to at first because she’s blunt and guarded, but considering everything she’s been through, her reactions felt understandable.
I really enjoyed watching Asha grow throughout the story. Seeing her relationships evolve made the romance feel earned instead of rushed. Overall, I had a great time with this book and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next.
If you love powerful heroines, multiple love interests, and a plot that feels like it’s one bad decision away from total destruction, Fallen Rites, Exiled Legacy, SilverGate Academy by Eve Newton is for you.
Absolute chaos in the best way. This first book throws you headfirst into the story of a Asha, once-powerful goddess who’s been banished, stripped of everything, and dumped into a completely different realm… and an entirely different body. Watching her navigate unfamiliar limitations while still carrying that divine-level attitude is both hilarious and feral.
Every interaction with Hale, Leith, and Tobin feels like it could either spark a war or a romance (or both), and honestly, that unpredictability is what makes it so addictive. It’s messy, dramatic, magical, and sets up the trilogy with just enough answers to hook you and just enough chaos to leave you spiraling.
Asha (FMC) was an absolute riot in this book with all of the wit, sarcasm and all of the threats to others. All of which came to thr forefront when she crash landed (quite literally) in Silvergate Academy. As a Goddess in the wrong body trying to find her feet and her place between 3 guys (Hale, Tobin & Leith). I loved their banter and one liners together. They had me cracking up. This was a great start to this trilogy and that cliff-hanger ending was just epic.
This is the 1st book in a new academy series. Asha is ambushed by 6 of her fellow God's and she's evicted from her realm, landing in a new body in Silvergate. Here she meets Tobin, Hale and Leith.
Asha is Uber sassy, violent and slightly unhinged, with an ego the size of Texas. She doesn't have access to her magic in this realm, so a lot of her threats don't land the same. The relationship between the 3 develops at the right kind of pace, and the story is well written. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
Asha a powerful goddess that all the gods wanted gone (Typical men can't handle a woman in power). It took all of them to get her out of her realm, but what they didn’t know was SilverGate was there waiting with open hands...well claws. There Asha has a new body, but her magic is too much and can't get out. Asha attracts attention from three powerful men Leith, Hale and Tobin, that end up wanting to help her, but only at a cost. But will it be a cost for her or them?
Bout time we return to SilverGate! This has been a ride from page one. I love how the FMC hasn't changed since the first chapter...unless you mean IYKYK. (Gotta read it to understand)
I wish we could make a poll on which MMC is the best in this book, but that would beat the purpose on a reverse harem. (But if we would) Who would you choose? So far my favorite is Leith but Hale is a close second!
This has been a fantastic read and I can't wait to see what this author has up her sleeve for this world!
PS I NEED A NOVELLA OR SOMETHING FOR BLACKRIDGE!!!! I'll even take a extra epilogue!!
So good. This is the first book in the Silver Gate Academy and right off the bat I was sucked into this story. Loved reading about Asha. Asha just happens to be a goddess who is now in a different body. That itself drew me right in. Storyline was so so good. Loving how this plot is going. Let’s not forget Hale, Keith and Tobin. Because I definitely will not forget about them. Looking forward to the next book. I desperately need it.
Captivating paranormal that will grab you from the first page and spits you out at the last
I don't know how to tell you politely to "just blooming read it" enough to make you do it. Seriously the storyline has been 500 years in the making and it has been worth it! Asha needs to get home, she needs to lay low and behave but she's Asha... She's never gonna behave!
Gah!!! This book was fantastic! Asha is bottled up fury and you can feel her anger at what constrains her. Tobin, Hale and Leith are instantly drawn to her and I enjoy the banter between them. This book is full of action, passion and I can not wait to see what happpens next!
