Can the mistakes of the past, bring together two broken hearts?
A coven of witches gifted with dark magic from the God of Death himself, kidnaps Murdock’s mate and daughter. This turn of events makes Murdock turn his back on his pack and join the Rebellion to support their fight in the war.
However, the same fate befalls Murdock again. In a bid to stop history from repeating itself, he goes to save his love. I have been loving the Kingdom of Gaia, and so far every book has pushed me right into my feels. At this point, I immediately want to go back and reread books 1 & 2 again... maybe even putting book 3 in between?! I feel like maybe I'm missing—or not remembering—some things, so I definitely wouldn't mind. 😏
With the way book 2 ended (🥵🔥😈), I must say... I was NOT expecting THAT to be book 3.
I completely understand why this story had to be longer than the novella I originally thought it might be. These characters needed time to grow and change.
ELSPETH FINALLY HAS HER DAMN MOMENT. 🙌
And Murdock? Well, I've always loved him, but in this book, I felt like the roles were flipped upside down and shoved all around! 😂
I have SO much I want to say, but... suspense? Spoilers?! 🤐
There is a reason we did NOT get ANY information about them in book 2, and I feel like saying too much could easily destroy the surprise someone else gets when reading it.
I was angry. I cried. I laughed. I highlighted.
I also spent all night after the book wondering who the heck book 4 is about and how the heck it is going to be so short?!
I NEED ANSWERS. 😫
THE GASPS I have GASPED at the end of all of these books are absolutely insane. 😂😭

Reclaimed by Magic is the third book of the Kingdom of Gaia book series but is set between book one & two, so can be read second if you wish to.
I was hooked on this book from the first chapter and if there were more hours in the day it would have been finished in one sitting.
This book had it all accidental mating, forced proximity, dislike-to-lovers, found family, Werewolves, Witches, Orcs,Vampires & coven/pack wars.
I was honestly surprised with how much I actually liked Elspeth by the end of the book and felt that her character arc was amazing with how she has grown and become someone that Murdock could trust and love.
I am looking forward to reading more by this author and cannot wait to see what else they create.

I looooved Murdock in the first book of this series so I was excited to read from his perspective…Unfortunately, I was never an Elspeth fan and this book didn’t do much to change that. As a matter of fact, it might have actually tarnished some of my love for Murdock.
That aside, it was the same run-of-the-mill story cycle as the first two books in the series; character conflict and drama, romance begins to blossom, the big bad enters the chat, the romance gets deeper, the big bad gets badder, the drama unfolds, and the ending wraps up a good chunk of the chaos.
It wasn’t a bad book by any stretch…just a bit tired and unfulfilling. Still enjoyed the world and the journey!

After finishing the first book, I was left with quite a few questions. One of them being "Where is Murdock?!"
This book definitely answered a lot of things I was curious about. AND I LOVED IT!!!
While the second book has a large time jump from the first book, this one follows the events that take place at the end of the first book. We learn about Murdock and all the things he has gone through.
And in my opinion, Elspeth gets her redemption arc.
I absolutely loved watching these two characters get close to one another. They were so good for each other.

Murdock has to take over as pack leader to protect all the wolves and witches in his camp with the help of Elspeth. Murdock is a peaceable leader and Elspeth is the person who fixes things no matter what she has to do. I really liked how they're opposites and made each other better. This is book three in the Kingdom of Gaia series. I recommend this book for readers who enjoy romantasy with a redemption arc, accidental mating, and opposites attract. Voluntary ARC review.

I absolutely loved this book! Everything was top tier . The author completely grabbed my attention and I couldn’t put it down once I started it. The characters their development the way the story developed i throughly enjoyed. Definitely looking forward to reading more books by this author! Highly recommend

After reading the first books in this series, I was always curious about Murdock and Elspeth. I am glad that Elspeth had her moment (redemption arc) and that Murdock finally figured out himself. The challenges these two face with each other, the pack, and the whole war were CRAZY, but to get back up and succeed took a lot of raw strength, tears, and moments where I thought they were not going to make it through. The events in this book take place right after everything that happens in the first book so there is not a big time jump like there is in book 1 and 2. Also how did I forget how the second book ended and the biggest GASP I had when everything clicked together!! I cannot wait for the fourth book and how everything is going to go down!!

Ahhh this series is killing me!!
I loved getting Murdock and Elspeth's story!!!
This universe and all the characters are so fun!!
There's magic and wolves and vampires and witches and sexy spice!!! It is so good! I can't wait for the next book!!

This was so good. I loved Murdock, loved Elsbeth. There was so much going on in this. Danger and chaos. I loved the witches and wolves aspect. The world building was great. And the characters really pull you into this. I was seriously invested in this one

Three words: Epic, Phenomenal, Captivating
V.A. Child makes it no secret she loves to rip up her readers’ hearts. The woman is merciless in that regard. She'll drag you along with her characters through the darkness, just to piece you back together, stronger than you were before. Murdock and Elspeth's story is no different. Their tale begins during the ending events of book 1, and the raw emotion I felt in chapter 1 was staggering. I was not expecting that. Child brings you right back into Murdock's mind and the devastation he experiences along with the challenges he faces is nothing short of heart-wrenching. I have to say my dislike of Elspeth from book 1 took a bit to get over. But it is to V. A. Child’s magic as an author that I ended up truly liking this woman and empathize with her on a soul-deep level. I was on the edge of my seat as these two fought each other, the witch sisterhood, friend, and even themselves. I cannot recommend this book, this series, enough! This is the best one yet!
