The path of your fate is forked…

Over a year has passed since Lyra’s departure from Whitecrest, but it’s almost as if she never left. She’s attacked the morning of her return.

After dodging her assailant, she’s faced with a grim ultimatum: succeed in her mission, or die. There is no room for failure.

Yet failure seems unavoidable.

Flooded by loneliness in the wake of the macabre mysteries of Glenn’s bloody campsite and Score’s conspicuous silence, she finds herself lost. How can she prevail when she can barely think?

Lyra has to decide: how hard will she fight for her right to live?

*I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for sharing my fair and honest opinion*
In case you can't tell by the fact that I've raved about the previous two books in this series to anyone who will listen(funnily enough - I *just* told a friend about it earlier when she was asking for recommendations in this genre), I'm a pretty big fan. It's been a rough couple months for me personally and I hadn't gotten to read as much as I usually do but when I was finally able to pick this book up my Kindle basically became glued to my hands. In the same way that AM made me fall in love with her writing style in book one and then intensified it in book two, Caprice has utterly and completely cemented that even more. I honestly feel that with each passing book her writing has gotten even better.
Reviews on later books in the series are always hard in the way that you want to mention things about past books or do a little comparison on a few things but for the sake of spoilers(for those who follow my reviews - you know I don't do spoilers. I mean - No. Just no.), I'm not going to say anything.
For those of you who have read the previous books, we all know you have been dying to read this one since closing the last page of Sonata so what are you waiting for? I really think I might tear up a bit when the final book releases. I really don't feel like I'm ready to let it go. Kind of like how we all hold on to that hope that J.K. will pen another Potter novel even though she's pretty much said it's not going to happen, we just love the stories and the characters so much that we never truly want to say goodbye.

The ending definitely was maddening, but that was because it left on a cliff hanger that makes you want to keep reading. I am looking forward to Book 4 of the Rhapsody Quartet series!
