USA Today Bestselling Author, storyteller and cheeky wench, SUZAN TISDALE lives in the Midwest with her verra handsome carpenter husband. All but one of her children have left the nest. Her pets consist of dust bunnies and a dozen poodle-sized, backyard-dwelling groundhogs – all of which run as free and unrestrained as the voices in her head. And she doesn’t own a single pair of yoga pants, much to the shock and horror of her fellow authors. She prefers to write in her pajamas.
Suzan writes Scottish historical romance/fiction, with honorable and perfectly imperfect heroes and strong, feisty heroines. And bad guys she kills off in delightfully wicked ways.
She published her first novel, Laiden’s Daughter, in December, 2011, as a gift for her mother. That one book started a journey which has led to more than twenty published titles. To date, she has sold more than 750,000 copies of her books around the world. They have been translated into Italian, French, German, and Spanish.
You will find her books in digital, paperback, and audiobook formats.

I definitely enjoyed this more than the first book in the series, there was a lot more action and it made it much more pleasant to read. It was a quick, relatively fun read and although it didn’t offer all that much substance, it can’t be faulted for that because it is quite short. I think it would have fared a bit better if it had been a bit longer, the story just felt rushed and I would have liked to know more.

This one ended exactly the way I wanted!!!! :)

After reading the 1st book in this series, I was flabbergasted that it ended so suddenly! I'm afraid to say, I gave the book a good rating because I loved the book..but I was not happy with the ending!!! I immediately started reading the next book. It was sooooo good! And it ended perfectly!! I was so afraid I was going to have to read another book before I got my happy ending! So just make sure you get both books at one time like I did! Sooo worth it!

Saving Moirra's Heart is set in a small village in Scotland, where Moirra faces a charge of murder after losing everything she and her husband Alysander owned in a fire. Alysander keeps Moirra's four daughters' safe while she is kept in the goal in filth and only given bits of bread and dirty water.

The story revolves around how he works to free his wife and save her from hanging with the help of his clan and his friends. The descriptions of life in the time period are excellent and the dialect is a nice mix of English and Scottish terms. The plot is true to the times for a lover of historical fiction, this is a great book.

I purchased this book as part of an anthology.

Worth the wait!!

I was anxious to read this story and it was worth the wait. The first part of the story is Stealing Moirra's Heart. Moirra and Alysander were made for each other. Alysander took on the role of father to Moirra's girls. I loved that both of them would sacrifice themselves for their family. This story made me laugh and cry. I highly recommend this story. As always the author knows how to pull my heart strings. I can't wait to read more. I absolutely loved this.

Wonderful

Another wonderfully written book. It's difficult to find words to describe all the emotions that go thru me in reading this book I was reading on a flight and the flight attendant could not figure out what was wrong with me cause one moment I was crying and the next I was giggling. Needless to say that when Moirras heart was breaking so was mine. The story line was not as predictable as one would think you've got to read it to find out what I mean.

Another great story by Suzan Tisdale!

Can't wait until 2017 for the continuation of this wonderful story to see what happens with Alexander and Moirra and now Connor and Dierdre. This story keeps you turning the pages to see what's going to happen for a HEA ending. A Sweet romance.

This book is the conclusion to the first book in the series, Stealing Moirra's Heart. While this book has more context when reading it after reading the first book, it is also a stand-alone story in itself. The book starts with Moirra being arrested for the murder of her 3rd husband. Her 4th husband, Alysander, along with Moirra's 4 daughters, immediately set about to save Moirra from public execution. The identity of the murderer is disclosed near the beginning of the book, but suspense is kept throughout the book as it's not clear until the end who (if anyone) will actually be found guilty of the murder. The main character Moirra, is a strong, smart, independent woman, however she does have 2 displays of ignorance that seem out of character. The first, where the main couple starts doubting each other based solely on what other people say, and not bothering to verify the truthfulness with their partner. This plot line which the author has used in another of her books seemed especially out of place, since Moirra and Alysander were married (hand-fasted) and both were willing to accept their relationship was over based without actually talking to their spouse! Fortunately, this was a brief part of the book, and other characters in the book did point out the ridiculousness of this to the main characters. The 2nd stupidity display is when Moirra repeatedly wonders why Almer would hate her so much (it's clear that Almer hates Moirra because he believes she killed his brother.) In spite of this, the book does an excellent job on making both male and female characters intelligent and courageous (this is seen in several of the minor characters, as well as the Moirra and Alysander.) The author does a decent job of explaining why the evil characters are evil. While the violence in this book was pretty mild, most notable violence being towards Moirra's 6 year old daughter. Overall, this book is an enjoyable, quick read.

A MUST READ!

Wow! What a fantastic novel by Suzin Tisdale!
I loved how Alysander and Moirra’s characters developed and are so believable it feels like you can just reach out and touch them. Saving Moirra's Heart: Book Two is a wonderful tale that hooks you from the start and and keeps you turning the pages. All the drama, uncertainty, deception and, romance. Suzin has a way of grabbing you the fist few pages and then you can't put the book down until the end. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, from cover to cover. Although this is a stand alone novel reading book one will will bring everything together!

SAVING Moirra and her daughters

A very fitting end to a lovely story. Alysander and Moirra both spent time in the awful jail. Both for the same murder that neither of them committed. The love they each had for the other saw them through all the lies and deceit told by other people.

I’m so behind on this awesome series. I loved the first book and this one did not disappoint. Suzan Tisdale writes such wonderful Highlander romance with just the right amount of suspense and they characters are so believable and strong. Moira’s daughter Orabilis is such a spitfire and I can’t wait for her story!

I truly enjoyed this series!

‘Saving Moira’s Heart,’ was heartbreakingly beautiful read. It was filled with love, forgiveness, and many’s trials for Moirra, her daughters, and Alysander. It was an incredibly short series and both books were quick read.

Very good series

I have enjoyed reading about Moirra's heart. The town law is very corrupt. Luckily there is one family with all members except one that will help out Moirra's family.
