Great Shifter Romance

I have really enjoyed this and couldn't put it down, a great continuation to this series. A well-written original shifter story full of action, fated mates, a blood curse, witches, rejection, banter, second chances, chemistry, love, romance, forced proximity, secrets, some great twists and great character development.

Sienna's first meeting with her fated mate doesn't go well when he pushes her away, despite them both feeling the strong bond between them. She's coordinating their separate pack collaboration and though he asks her alpha if someone else can do it, she proves she's the best one for the role.

All Alpha Lucas has ever known is discipline, duty and control. He has his reasons for trying to keep his distance from Sienna but despite his best efforts he can't help keeping an eye on her from his office while she's working in his pack, making sure she stays safe and well fed (and stops buying things for her assistants).

It was great seeing the banter and dynamics between these two, they are so sweet together (despite his denial). Sienna is a determined woman who won't chase him, but knows how to get him in her own way.

"And how," Violet inquires, "is Lucas?"
I tilt my head back and laugh at the branches of the tree I have stopped under. The leaves shift green and gold over my face. "I'm working on him."
"How's close is he to cracking?"
"Who knows he's very stubborn."

But there's a traitor in his pack working to disrupt and stop the two packs from working together, with rogue attacks being the least of their worries. With tension, pack politics and a bloodline curse they will have to learn to work together to find their happy ever after.

It was also great seeing Anne & Kain ("The Alpha's Rejected Mate") and Violet & Darius (The Alpha's Forbidden Hybrid Mate) again.

The first meeting between Sienna and Lucas didn't go well. They each felt the fated mate connection but -- he was rude and obnoxious. He had a reason, but the rejection was brutal. Their respective packs were collaborating, so they were going to be working closely for a while.

Also, there was a traitor in Lucas' pack that was working against all packs to dismantle and take over each of them. The tension between the couple, the pack dynamics that initially favored another as Luna, and the rogue attacks created a very unpleasant working relationship as well.

I really enjoyed this story and how it incorporated the other two couples from the previous books. I thought I knew the traitor's identity, then something happened to that person and I changed my mind, and then another incident happened that proved my initial choice was the correct one. The twist and turns made for one fast paced and engaging story that I read in one sitting.

Definitely looking forward to what JS writes next -- I'm never disappointed.

I enjoyed reading Book 3, "The Alpha's Unclaimed Mate" in the Fierce Alpha Series, by Jaymin Snow. Lucas and Sienna are fated mates, but a fatal ancient family curse is sabotaging their happiness and future. To make matters worse, Lucas can not tell any non-family member about the curse, so he repeatedly hurts his fated mate with his actions, and keeps sienna at a distance, in order to protect her from the curse. Sienna doesn't meekly accept Lucas's abominable treatment, and finds ways to make him regret throwing her away. The old adage, "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer" but what if the friend and enemy are the same person? This is the question Lucas must answer before it is too late. Also, if you thought the Covenant went away, think again. This book brings back friends and foes from the previous series books, while introducing new despicable enemies.

Again, I do still enjoy this author. This is yet another really good shifter book, and I definitely would recommend it to others. The anguish and heartbreak are all there, which I like to feel. I do think that the traitor was a little took easy to figure out, but overall this was a good one.

I kind of knew from the start who the traitor was. It was really obvious, with how the author kept saying how her reactions were off. It was a little too easy to figure out.
Then at the end, once they raided the compound, it was too quick and easy to take down the rest of the Covenant. They found papers that led to everyone else. It was just a bit too easy and just tied things up too quickly.

I definitely would recommend this book and author and series.

Yes to this book!!! I read book two of the series and enjoyed it, but Sienna and Lucas's story?? I was here for it. I loved Sienna's attitude. She was going to make Lucas pay for rejecting her, and he never stood a chance. I will give him credit though. Once you learn how the curse works and the past devastation it caused, I completely understood why he didn't want that for her. He tried so hard but ultimately failed. And I'm so glad he did. The chemistry between them was an inferno. I had my suspicions about who would sabotage their relationship, and I was right. You could smell desperation every time they/he/she (not going to which) appeared on the page. This book was a page-turner from beginning to end. I'd highly recommend it.

4 1/2 stars. This story has witches, hybrids, enhanced shifters and a blood curse. The h and H meet when their two packs begin negotiating a merger. They are mates but the H rudely pushes the h away. The h is hurt and confused by the H's rejection. The H is attracted to the h but is fighting it to save her from a curse that has plagued his family for generations. The H announces an engagement to a life long friend/OW. The h is devastated but she is determined to be strong. She goes to party with humans. The H is enraged with jealousy. There are traitors and battles and magic on their way to an HEA.

This is a second chance romance.
This is a fantastic read: Jessa has a very good reason she is so hostile to Marcus when he stops to aid her on the side of the road on a very rainy night. Marcus is instantly drawn to Jessa but has no idea why.
The story flow well and the characters are well developed. I did realise who the antagonist was quite quickly, but this does not take anything away from the story.
I can easily recommend this book to anyone who likes a shifter romance a cocky hero, a strong female and a problem to solve.

This book made me cry, and I do NOT appreciate that. It's a good book though, and a good ending to the series. Characters got what they deserved, loose ends were tied up, questions I'd had since The Alpha's Forbidden Hybrid Mate were answered. I'll miss the characters, but I'm happy with how the series ended, and I look forward to the next series from this author.

Devasting Truth

The heartbreak and devastation of the rejection were brutal as this story hit me with every emotion. Twists and turns were captivating as well as exciting. Sienna and Lucas bond was undeniable, but the cost was indescribable pain. This was a very interesting read that I did not want to put down.

Great end to a 3 book interconnected series. Really enjoyed hearing Sienna’s story. All of the other characters were included and we got to see their journeys too. Loved that the author included the side characters and did previous story lines justice. Hopefully not too long until we get a new series from this author.

I LOVE a wolf shifter book and this didn’t disappoint. Although some parts of the writing felt very stilted which kept taking me out of the story.

I skipped the epilogue because it irks me that the only way for the main characters to have a happy ending is to get married and have a baby 🌚

The reading order should be Violet's book, then Anne's, and then Sienna's.
