So...

I really thought this second book would be about Tammy, Rachel and Mike. Boy was I wrong there was so much drama in this book. Ex. Persia finds out that her husband is not only married to her but another woman named Keisha. Yep Derek is a bigamist. But Persias loyalties are no better, she's been sleeping around behind Derek's back with two men Denji and Antwan oh and speaking of Antwan, Keisha, Derek's other wife has a baby with him...confused?

This book I all about the drama that encircles these four women and as I note a woman who sleeps with not only one friends husband, but two needs her teeth knocked down her throat! As Tammy is my favorite Rachel is not.

As you can see the author did a fantastic job of pulling me into her works with all the savory and not so savory characters.

I'm really still trying to digest what I read. This book felt rushed in my opinion. It gave you detail but it still had you feeling like, how did we get to this point. This book started off with Tammie and Mike situation. Their situation was confusing as it is because they're going through all this mess yet still living in the same house. How can you think and get clarity from both your situations if the constant reminder is in your face all the time? Sharon situation made absolutely no sense to me. Like not at all, besides I hate lesbian sex scenes. She was blackmailing her ex husband in order to get him to take care of his kids but yet her lite is a secret. Persia was just a sad case. Yea her husband was living a double life but she wrong as well because she was doing dirt too. Then after everything came out she became this nasty sex crazed chick that was getting dicked and licked by multiple people in one day. That's not cool at all. After all this mess they expect me to believe that they had a epiphany and they want their husband's all of a sudden. I'm not buying it. The only thing for me I wanted to see more of was Rachel unstable psychotic self. There were a couple of character mix ups in the story and the story didn't flow as well as it could have. Just an okay read.

Patti does it again!

Patti you need to see about getting these books made into a movie!
Rachael refused to give up on Mike despite the fact that he's told her as well as showed her that he loves his wife and he wants to make his marriage work.
Will Tammi and Mike's marriage survive?
Sharon has a little bit of drama going on with Mont concerning their kids and his refusal to keep his promises to them but Thanks to Nicole that quickly changed!
Persia! Persia! Persia!! SMH!
Girl you are a SUPER FREAK!
I felt sorry for you in the beginning because of what Derek put you through but honey you proved to be a strong woman and in the end you got exactly what you wanted!
Keisha you professed to love Derek but you lies to him about Desiree?! Girl you're lucky he didn't kick your butt!!
But I guess he deserved it.
This book is filled with Karma!

Authoress Patti Doss has done it again with “Somebody Else’s Husband Too”. I wish I had read this series sooner, but better late than never. As with the first book, the pace of the storyline was not too fast and not too slow. However, there were still a few grammatical/ spelling/ mixing up of characters names in places. The issues were less frequent than in the first book. The word choice for me made me want to keep reading to see what happens next. As expected some people showed up and showed out.

Rachel (Ms. Broken): At first and I slightly still am mad at her and her actions. Deep down she is a broken individual who has yet to face her inner problems. The only thing felt would make her problems hurt less was to sabotage others, so they feel pain. The questions remain: will she be able to mend broken fences after dealing with those issues or is the damage irreparable? Is Ms. Psycho really gone or Is she going to sneak up like a hurricane on a path of destruction?

Derek (Mr. Sly): His actions was a shocker for me. I so wanted the suspicions to be wrong or at least minimal. At some point, someone always gets careless, and that’s when things fall apart. In many ways, I didn’t even feel any sympathy for him because his actions now have him reaping what he sowed. I just hope he has to work to get back the things he wants and proves he deserves them back...

Persia (Ms. Sassy): I was always on “Team Persia”. She just had that vibe/energy that was something that you feared seeing if you crossed her. She already suspected things, so she did what many do or wish to do, and that was get even. Didn’t know what angle she was coming from at first but she showed up and showed out. Her actions may have been drastic but when you go through certain situations, your feelings/ emotions no longer exist and you react on instincts. Although, she has a path cleared for her will she be able to leave it all behind or is time invested too much of a sacrifice?

I will not say much about the other characters since you need to read the book. However, I am looking forward to part three in the series and the other twists and turns to come.

Crazy drama

Wow when will Rachel learn. She is such a ratchet mess. I can't believe Tammie, Persia, and Sharon are even friends with her conniving and backstabbing self. I mean come on she is just horrible. Even though Derek and Mike were just wrong on every account that are great father's and seem to truly be sorry. It will be interesting to see how things unfold for their respective families. Definitely didn't see Sharon's shocker coming, wonder how the cop will take to that news.

Held my attention

This book held my attention because of Rachel and her stupid self. It's bad enough you betrayed your friend, but to keep trying to destroy what they are trying to fix is just horrible. Mike is not innocent either, but I really despised Rachel. I hope Sharon gets her happy ending. Hope Rachel gets a clue. Persia should move on. Married for 10 years to someone else and you wanna make it work? Despite there still being live how could you even trust that he will be faithful to just you again? Hoping for part 3 to put an end to these thoughts.

IT was a great read. Unlike part one, this one was a little bit more erotic. The only thing i do not like about the book was in part one, the ideology of Rachael. Other than that, it was great. I can see this book going through group discussions about marriage, commitment, infidelity, and regrets.

Part 2 was a pretty good read it answered questions about the friends and state of their relationships where pt 1 left off. Also, gave readers a couple twists in regards to the ladies mates that made for an interesting story line.
