The story focuses heavily on Eve’s evolution. Without formal covert-ops training, she must rely on fast learning, sheer grit, and strategic thinking to stay ahead of professional hitmen. You can expect high-speed chases, deadly confrontations, espionage tradecraft, and tight pacing set across global locations.

The action is fast & relentless: True to Ethan Jones’s signature style, the tension escalates quickly with minimal downtime between set pieces. Another good action episode for this series as Eve Shepherd continues the search for her missing husband, Cole. If action stories are for you, you don't want to miss this series. With every step forward in her search, Eve finds more people trying to stop her. And with each of these steps we see what a person will do to save the person they love. There are surprise attacks from people you think you can trust, and help from those you never thought would be on your side. There are a few dead spots while Eve is waiting for information, but the wait is necessary to avoid being killed. But, the wait thru these pages is worth the effort to see what Eve has to do next in her search. And the fact that she comes out of it alive is worth it, but the surprises are more worth the read.
Highly recommend this series.

Wonderful written, this episode takes us on new twists and turns of plot, character development, action and setting. Difficult to put down! Deep into her search for her husband Cole, Eve is deep into a discovery that, while her life is not what she thought it was, she continues to find herself prepared and able to function in this clandestine world. I quite enjoyed this read, a fresh and complete novel that moves the series along.  Worth reading the first two novels and then diving into an author binge!

An outstanding suspense thriller with a great storyline and an excellent cast of strong characters. A page turning read with non-stop action, lots of suspense, and an international adventure. Excellent storytelling with Eve Shepherd trying to find and rescue her husband Cole. Highly recommended book and series. Bring on the next installment of Assassin's Wife Thriller Series with Eve Shepherd.

This thriller grabs your attention from the start and never lets go! I was so intrigued by the storyline that I had to go get the first two book as read them as well. You don't need to read the first two books before this one, however. It's easy to understand what happened once you start reading. I didn't want to stop turning the pages until the very end. It has a well-thought-out storyline and a writing style that makes you feel like you are part of the action. Highly recommended!

Masterful, detailed storytelling along with tension that doesn't let up and never knowing who to trust make Ethan Jones' next in the series hard to put down. His main character Eve surprises the reader (and every other character) at every turn with her combination of toughness, tenacity, and vulnerability. This book is a stunner, and I wait on pins and needles for the next one!

Loved it, Eve is getting so close to Cole now…non-stop action from the beginning to the end. Once again, this book is better than the last one. Ethan continues to twist the stories that keeps the reader on their toes from page one, didn't want to put the book down. Eve Shepherd was a normal happy wife until she found out her husband was an international assassin who has disappeared. Even worse is now she’s being hunted as well. With help from some of her husband’s friends she is traveling all over the world trying to find him and not get killed. Loads of action, fun, intrigue and close calls as she is still on the hunt.
