In a world where fertile woman are bought and SOLD by those wishing to reproduce, Rowan Evans is about to watch as her sister is to be sold to a pair of Alpha wolves, Chase & Grayson. Now it is she who is going to be SOLD.
However, Rowan had no idea that being sold to Alphas would actually be much more enjoyable then she ever thought it would be. Several nights of passion with the handsome men are enough for her to realize she might have got it all wrong after all.

I skipped a HUGE chunk of this story, and this rating is based off what I actually read. Plot: F That ending was horrible. Rowan hadn't told them at 85%., she had the perfect opportunity and STILL didn't tell them. And then everything is just magically solved, and she gets to take the easy way out. Then the whole choosing thing...and she just fell out of love so quickly. Horrible. Characters: D We know virtually nothing about Grayson and Chase beyond sex, and not even that really. No development. I hate being in Rowan's head, and I want to throat punch her. She's annoying, and a judgemental bigot. She spends more time with Flora and Rose than Grayson and Chase. Nobody was likeable. Heat: D For a menage, this not very spicy. The scenes were rushed and somewhat tame. The build-up was long and tedious, the follow through was lacking. A ton of mediocre scenes.
These books really all just have the same storyline. If you've read one you can just replace the breed of shifter. The only thing that changes is the back stories, character names etc but the relationships pretty much all work the same in each book. One male is mean/stand-offish, the other is friendly but the mean one is the more attractive ... blah blah blah.
I know I basically punished myself by reading all three.
This was the last book in this selection. First off, a lie is a lie no matter how you paint it.
The one thing that worked my dang nerves was the procrastination of telling the truth. She had plenty of opportunities to do so and it was like she was worse than a dude. She let her Nether regions control the situation. I can understand the throws of passion on the first night. And I get what she was saying at the end when she said that her procrastination would have never ended her up in the situation she was happy to be in.
I am not too keen on the ending. Great how the HEA happened but the ending felt rushed in a sort of way. How easily she fell out of love hom because of his deception and I thought that was kind of hypocritical of her but that's just my opinion. Does the brother get his HEA when he leaves? I see the brother from the first book came to settle here does he get a HEA or will ever return to his birth place without the hurt that he is suffering?

Well done. Dang it I can't say what I'd like to without spoiling it. I hate spoilers. Reasons I enjoyed this book: Action-packed, Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Funny, Great world building, Happily Ever After, Page-turner, Steamy, Unpredictable, Wonderful characters.
They went to buy a fertile woman . Little they know that the one they purchased was Rowan. She had changed her file with her sisters Skye, to save her from her fate.
Great book, keeps you reading and you are disappointed when the story comes to an end because you just want more. I love Rose's character, she is quirky, mysterious and fun. A pleasant listen, love the narration.
I enjoyed every moment of this story. I shed a few tears & laughed a few times too. This is one story that you can't put down. Excitement at every turn. With the best ending ever 🤗
I loved this story. Sister love is one of the strongest bonds there are. The alphas are hot. Story was gr8, & didn't end the way I thought it would. A definitely good read. :-)
The deception that this leading lady goes to to save her sister from a fate worse than death is true sibling love. This is a good story with good characters. The performance is amazing.
A unique tale with a slight post-apocalyptic twist to it, this book will keep you in suspense throughout. When Rowan makes a decision to switch fertility results for her sister and herself in an attempt to save her younger sister Skye from what she believes will be a horrible fate of being sold in an auction to the wolf shifters, she did it in the name of love. She never thought she would fall in love. Nor did she believe in miracles, at least not for herself. Grayson and Chase were co-alphas of the Shadowfen pack. They attended the auction intent on buying a fertile woman whom they would share, at least until she got pregnant, at which time a paternity test would decide who the father was, as well as deeming him her life mate. Full of action, intrigue, suspense, pain and suffering as well as an abundance of love, this book will keep your attention until the end. My only complaint, and I would like to stress that it didn't take away from the story, is that the author seemed to repeat often. I still enjoyed it and would definitely read more from this author.
I really wanted to like this book but it fell flat for me. The basic outline of the story was good but the filler was lacking. Being inside the heroine's head was not a fun place to be, she was repetitive and rather dull. As far as the male protagonists go, we know nothing at all about them and it was impossible to form any kind of connection with either of them. The dialogue was stiff and there was nothing erotic about the sex scenes.
As far as Meghan Kelly's performance, I will avoid any books she narrates in the future. Her mid-western twang was a bit off-putting for me and her tone was whiny and annoying.
I truly wish that I could give a more positive review as I received this audiobook free in exchange for an honest review.
I like the book well – enough I didn't like the fact that the heroine deceived the hero's I know she meant well still didn't excuse the fact that she didn't come clean. I also didn't like that she didn't come clean with her supposed friend Rose or later for that matter with her sister. I still felt for the fact that she lied and didn't come clean she didn't deserve to stay with either hero's but that just how I feel. But this is a love story after all so you know everything has a way of working itself out. Overall a good read looking forward to read more books by this author.
I skimmed through 90% of the book. The heroine spends about the much till dwelling on her guilt and that got way old way fast. Then you have the fact that the sex scenes are non existent. And the final nail in the coffin is that the characters aren't even one dimensional. There's no fleshing out so you never get to know them or like them. Then there's the end. I won't spoil it but after forcing myself to finish there was absolutely no payoff and I hated that I had held off dumping it from my kindle for so long. I have absolutely no intention of reading anything else in this series.
Wrong for the right reasons Rowan Evans is on the sale block to be sold due to her being a fertile woman. But what no one knows is she switched out her and her sisters results. Her sister is the fertile one and hers said she wasn’t. But being sold to wolves is not an appealing thing and she just wants to save her younger sister. But the two Alphas that she is sold to are not the bad type. And her guilt is eating at her all the time. This is a self-contained story with lot of action going on throughout the book as well as lots of loving. Enjoyable and entertaining to read.
Out of all the SOLD books I think this is the best one! You don't have to read these books in order they are separate just have a common theme and background. So you could start with this one! I received this ARC free in return for an honest review. If you're a shifter lover your gonna love this book. The alphas are hot and the sex is hotter. The plot doesn't depend on the sex (toys are used, by the way) it's just an added bonus. Definitely not for under 18. The price is right or if you have kindle unlimited it's even better! You really can't lose on this one.
I haven't read any of the other SOLD books, but this one was good, so eventually I'll try to pick up the Dragon and Bear ones! :)
The book is set during a time when there are very few fertile women, so they test all woman and auction off the fertile ones. Alphas Chase and Grayson bid for Rowan at the auction in hopes of her getting pregnant by one of them. They aren't the monsters she assumes when she goes up for auction.
Yes there is a lie involved, but all for a good reason. Loved the book but it seemed really rushed at the end.
Rowan performs the ultimate deception in order to protect her baby sister. She is sold to two alphas that are not like other wolves she had heard about and feared. As Rowan discovers she is truly cherished and cared for by these two alphas she simply cannot reveal her deception. Chase and Grayson care for Rowan, they enjoy giving her pleasure but their primary goal is to impregnate her. Turns out Rowan isn't the only one with secrets, and it gets interesting! I really enjoyed going on this journey with Rowan and her two alphas.
The third book in this series is about wolf shifters buying fertile human women to have children with. Having been given hints through the first two books at just how awful these wolf shifters are, I was pleased to note that it was not so black and white. The town's mayor forced all the women to be tested and those deemed fertile were sold to provide the town with the money it needed to survive. There is the addition of a psychic witch and a kidnapped sister to this book, as well as a chest full of sex toys. Otherwise it follows the same successful formula.
A little short on plot and character development, repetitive, and erotic, but also a real hoot. Meghan Kelly reads in a prim tone that, in hysterical opposition to the erotic nature of the material, turns this short novel into a lot of fun--satire on paranormal romance, play with the teenage romance angst, and a refreshing light listen. It's another example of a book much better in audio than print, as many of the print reviewers seem to have missed the humor in this book. I received a free copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review, loved it. It is a stand alone story with a HEA. Rowan is bought by two alpha wolves so they can have a mate. Chase and Grayson are alphas of their pack, they need a mate and have saved the gold to get one. This is their story of love and loss. I recommend to all shifter readers who like a wonderful story. So much adventure and action to keep you reading for hours. Looking forward to the next book.
As much as I enjoy reading, this book was too long. The angst expressed by the heroine went on and on. Should I tell the truth over and over again. Then when she first day out she's really pregnant, the one she wanted to be father (I thought she was going to have twins - fraternal) it was out of the blue. I actually skipped a lot because it was so redundant! Didn't like this it all. Glad I didn't buy it.
Loved it and the characters were awesome. I loved a book that makes me feel what, Rowan, was feeling, protective, happy, worry about her so called secret. Hopefully you will write a story about Steven ( dragon ) and Grayson finding their mates. I would really like to read they also have a happy ending and highly recommended.
Standalone book - no cliffhanger. She takes the place of her sister at an auction where fertile women are sold. She has a secret she's keeping but falls for both Alphas and feels bad about it. Liked the story and hot action but there seemed to be a lot of repeat stuff that made it seem long. All and all a good read though.
Been reading some very bad books lately. It was a relief to pick up this one and enjoy it. It opens with Rowan swapping places with her sister as a fertile female for auction. There is a twist there that gets a lot of mileage in the story. The characters engage you immediately and the secondary characters are wonderful. A good solid read.
Protecting someone who you love is hard but also to a surprising revaluation.
Plenty of twist and turn in the story brings you to keep turning the pages. Snarky female meets strong, passionate and double alphas who deliver smexy times. I'm recommending you get the whole series.
Great read. When yo love someone you do whatever you can to protect them from harm. When you learn the truth it is not what you thought. This author has some great reads.
It's just so crazy they both mated her until she got pregnant. I knew Rose knew her secret and that she would get pregnant soon. I felt a bit sorry for Grayson. All in all was a great book.
This story makes three people come together. They are good together. But in the end one gets hurt badly and walks away. If I could of changed anything in this book. It would of been for the three of them to be together and stay together as a family.
