One hot night of sex and sin Florian, fallen angel and now part-time bartender, and Seth, an up and coming rock star, both want the same out of their one night stand.
Only, the next morning leaves them yearning for each other even more and, after some fun in the kitchen, things turn complicated. Seth wears the brand of a demon and Florian is not sure he can get involved with someone who made a pact with a demon, again.
This 10.000 word romantic story has two men who have some steamy times but realise there might be more keeping them together.
Oh joy, another incomplete story. Have I mentioned how much I hate serials, especially ones that aren't CLEALY labeled as such so you know in advance that you are reading only a small PART of a story? What a freakin' waste of my time.
Beyond that major complaint, the story so far is two men meet and literally five minute later fall into bed. They have a lot of sex. (I'd say literally 95% of this is sex.) One happens to be a fallen angel, one a rocker. That's it. There's no real character development or world development and what little bit is there is inconsistent and contradictory. The whole thing could also do with some more editing.
The characters and the idea in this books were really good, and I would like to go on to next book. There’s only a big BUT... I hate cliffhangers so much that sometimes I don’t read anything more from the author. That stubborn thing happens when I feel that the cliffhanger is too calculated. Here I’m considering what I will do with this one... it’s pity, because those characters were really cute.
Way too short for the amount of steamy bits that fill the pages. There is hardly any story or character depth here. Maybe instead of chopping up story, just release as a complete book.
“A rock star branded with a demon brand… A fallen angel with wings black as night…”
Florian and Seth’s intro is steamy with an instant connection. A deal with a demon, a rockstar and a disillusioned, fallen Angel. What could possibly go wrong?
Extremely short. A little rough around the edges. It’s brief, certainly not a bad read. 2.5 ⭐️
I thought it was a good start to a series. Floridian and Seth are hot together, but it's the mystery that shrouds them that pulls you in. How did they get to where they are, and what do they do with what they've found together? I'm hoping #2 answers some of that.
This was a very intriguing book, I wish that there had been more. The characters Florian and Seth are great, the chemistry is smoking. The plot is a little lacking but I hope the next book has more depth.
I liked the concept but the execution wasn’t quite there for me. I also wasn’t very fond of the cliffhanger. I know there is a continuation in the second book, but that makes it harder to want to continue.
