Okay read that gives us characters from book one getting a HEA.
Didn’t mind the age difference though I do wonder and I just find it strange that the heroine character, who is a shifter, is divorced. Where is the true mate aspect of a shifter story that is the reason we love them? If they are true mates then age isn’t a factor.
Really doesn’t need to be about shifters the way this is written.
I did enjoy the twist with the stalker.
Read in the box set through Kindle Unlimited.

In the first story, it made it seem like she was being flirty with Todd. It doesn’t really explain why she thought he was being stalker or anything. They went out a couple of times and didn’t work out and she’s automatically assumed he was the one being a creep for no reason. I just found that kind of weird. I mean she’s getting flowers. She’s getting gifts so she’s just assuming it’s him and she’s automatically just afraid of him versus just being a normal person and just talking to him.

A TREASURE FOR THE GRIZZLY !!!
Wow! What an adorable story! I love it! Furbidden is the latest release in the Sexy In Fur Series by Kate Kent and it is totally awesome! Furbidden is a stand alone book with NO cliffhanger. Although reading Furever, the first book of the series, is not required to enjoy this story, I would highly recommend reading both! The first book is awesome too! And we get to see quite a few of the same characters and locations in both books. It's just so much fun! The story is exciting, original, imaginative, adorable, humorous, romantic and arousing! The dialogue is smart, inventive, cute, erotic and as always, well written. The characters are captivating, sweet, endearing and sexy as sin! A perfect combination for a wonderfully entertaining, laugh out loud funny and pleasantly satisfying read! Curvy she-wolf Evie Allen hasn't had much luck with men or relationships. The only relationship she's managed to hang onto is the one with her best friend and boss Alicia Morgan, owner of Morgan's Treasures, an auction/resell shop in Frederick. The only action she's seen lately is watching everyone else hook up at her favorite watering hole, the Bite Me Bar while she sits on a lonely bar stool drinking a Howling Martini! (So hilarious - right? I just love the names Kate uses in her stories.) It's totally hopeless - or so she thought until she sees a absolutely hunky bear shifter that is smokin' hot changing in the new transition room. Wowza! She would definitely love for him to wrap his powerful muscled arms around her curvy body. Evie is pleasantly surprised to learn the local shifter bar has a new transformation room. After seeing for herself what all the hype is about, she catches a glimpse of Chad, her best friend’s little brother making his way from the room leaving nothing to the imagination. Chad is home from college on break and has his eyes set on Evie.
Knowing a relationship with Chad is basically forbidden because of her friendship with Alicia – she avoids him after a one night stand. To make matters more complicated her ex-boyfriend Tyler seems to keep popping up and could behind all the gifts and flowers that anonymously show up at her apartment. The guilt of having been with Chad has her wanting to come clean with Alicia but will their friendship stand the test?
Furbidden is an extension of Furever, taking the supporting character Evie on a romantic journey of her own. A little mystery mixed with lust is always a good combination! Chad sounds like a true dream and but completely understanding Evie’s hesitation – she is certainly in an emotional pickle. Just when I thought for sure Tyler was behind all the creepiness going on, the author gives us something else to think about. Another fast-paced read to get your shapeshifter fix.
One note I do love about this author is her hot alpha males always prefer the curvy normal women. I love that most women can read this and relate to the character’s moments of self-consciousness and vulnerability. Also evident with the book’s cover models. Kuddos to Mrs. Kent!

A hot little short tale that will have you warmed up in no time. Kate has taken the forbidden fruit and sliced it up and presented it on a silver platter for us with this cute little story about Chad and Evie. Chad is the younger brother of Evie's best friend Alicia, and off limits to her, but wow! he sure knows how to pack a punch and he's eyeballing Evie like she's his last supper, and she's doing her own eyeballing if truth be known. When did Chad go and grow up? And into such a fine specimen of grizzly/man? So, when he puts his mind to it and literally sweeps her off her feet and seduces her, she's not sure what it is she's doing, but she sure is enjoying it...for now, that is, until it's time to tell Alicia. But Evie has a few loose ends she has to tie down before she can even think about Chad. She's got an ex-boyfriend that seems to pop up everywhere lately, and a stalker, who may or may not be the ex. And lets not forget that she's divorced and ten years older than Chad.
Lots packed in to this book, but don't let the curveballs fool you. It's complete and a joy to read.

Evie is thrown for a loop when she sees this Gorgeous Grizzly shifter. The Bite Me Bar has put in changing rooms for the shifters and he's one that doesn't mind leaving the door open and oh no it's her best friends little brother chad. She hooks up with Chad for a night of hot, steamy, holy cow that was awesome sex! but in the light of day she fights it because well he's 10 years younger, he's her best friends little brother (incase she hasn't mentioned that a time or two!) oh and she has a stalker.
Chad has been in love with Evie for ever and he's not giving up so easily but what is she to do when Alicia asks her to keep all of the girls away because he doesn't need a girl friend when he's going off to Grad School!
I'm really enjoying this series and I can't wait to find out who gets a story next!

KATE KENT HAS ANOTHER GREAT BOOK.....THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS.... 18+
I LOVED this book, read it straight though. There are some twist and turns, you may not expect. A divorced woman wolf shifter (now isn't that a new one) Thinks she has a stalker, and knows who it is. Has a much younger guy come back to town and show determined interest in her. Has her best friend, her boss and his big sister, tell her to keep him out of relationships while she is gone for two weeks. She don't want him to mess up his education, he is going to grad school in a couple months. She don't want to lose her best friend, and he is just to young, just out of collage. And an ex hanging around. What's a woman to do? Well besides take a long , long vacation from all men, but I'm sure she would think what fun would that be.

Evie and Alicia are long standing best friends. Chad is Alicia's little brother and has always had a thing for Evie. Evie catches a glimpse of Chad changing at the local shifter bar and likes what she sees until she realises it is Chad who has certainly changed while away at college. Realising it is Alicia's little brother put the brakes on any intention she has to get near him, however Chad has other ideas. After a steamy sex session she tries her best to resist Chad and go back to normal life where she as a stalker to worry about.
The book contains sex scenes so you need to be aware of that. A well written book where the author paints a vivid picture of what sights, sounds, feelings and emotions are in play. Enjoyable read.

Age ain't nothing but a number well that's what Chad thinks since he's been crushing on Evie since forever. Evie works for her best friend Alicia for a while now and she seen her snotty nose brother grow into a sexy beast of a man she feels guilty for having these lustful images of her and Chad after all he is her best friends brother and that wouldn't look right not only could she lose her best friend but she would lose her job as well. But Chad not making this easy for her he's determined to make Evie his at all costs. Overall a good read there's lots of surprises in this book and let's not forget the hot sexy shifter.

Chad was a pain in Evie's but growing up because he was always pestering her and his sister but now that he is grown into this hot sexy man Evie is having a hard time not lusting after him. When a stalker gets too close can Chad save her before it is to late.

This was a great read like all of Kate Kent's books . Loved the characters and this story has surprises in it hot sexy shifter. What more could you want. Evie is newly divorced and though she is attracted to Chad she is not giving in. After all he is her best friends little brother. I was gifted this book for an honest review and have to say it would be worth buying as Kate Kent has done a wonderful job with this book. I love the characters Evie and Chad. who won't love a hot muscled grizzly bear like Chad I sure won't mind meeting Chad lmao. I also loved what twas done to the Bite Me bar. I must say that if you love a good suspenseful romance then you will love this book as it is a stand alone or can be read as part of the series sexy in fur.

But when Evie sees him in a bar one night she realised he is grown up and all man. And he wants her. And when they do get together the sparks fly. The sex is steamy and explosive. A bit of suspence makes this story even more enjoyable.

Fun Read
This is mostly a light hearted book about an older woman who suddenly discovers she is attracted to her best friend's younger brother. He just graduated college and he has no doubts about his attraction to his big sister's best friend. She is horrified and he is relentless. Fun times, until suddenly her life is in peril. I loved this book. The story was hot and steamy with that edge and touch of danger lurking in the shadows. I am quickly becoming a great fan of Kate Kent and her books. I can not wait to read the next book in this series. As it is said in the book Age is Just a Number, the heart knows nothing about age.

What to do when your bff's little brother is all grown up and hot for you?
Especially if you feel it too. Ooh yeah, your bff is also your boss.
Just to make it interesting, throw in a stalker. This is a great short. A strong recommend.

Just to make it interesting, throw in a stalker. This is a great short. A strong recommend.

This was a great shifter paranormal romance but way too short. Hence, that's why only three stars. Just as your really getting into the characters and the plot, bam, the book has ended. This is about a 30 minute read or less for avid readers such as myself.
