When I first picked up Committed, I thought it was a stand-alone thriller, but I quickly realized that I didn't have a clue what was going on. Following the story required reading Books 1 & 2. Luckily, I had those books in my library, so it wasn't difficult to start over and read them in order. Make sure you do the same, or you will be lost just like I was, and this story is too good not to take in every nuance and detail. Fair warning, you may find your blood pressure higher than it was before you started reading, and find yourself wanting to throttle characters that you know in your heart aren't real, but you still want to hurt them. Ms. Sinclair is that good. If you enjoy deep, detailed, dark, and compelling psychological thrillers, this series is for you. I highly recommend it. I received a review copy from the author at my request, and this review reflects my honest and voluntary opinion.

I found Committed to be an intense, gripping psychological Thriller with conspiracy elements. I think you will understand more of Claire's situation by reading the other book, however, you can still get into COMMITTED. It's has a bit of confusion in the beginning.
This an intense, suspenseful psychological, conspiracy story.
Ms. Sinclair has written an interesting story, that makes the reader wonder what's real and what's not, what some people would do for money and how far they'd go for a few acres of land and a bit of money. An entertaining, and enjoyable read.
Readers of Psychological Thrillers, Conspiracy elements, family, and Liz Sinclair stories will enjoy COMMITTED.

These stories about Claire Whitlock have been thrilling to read. She's followed her mother's footsteps including almost losing her mind (or was she), her son was taken all while "They" were rewriting history in real time. Now she's been committed! In this third installment Liz Sinclair still manages to bring across an astonishing amount of anxiety through her writing. Claire and her son have been through a lot and I was afraid of how this was all going to end. Since I don't do spoilers, you'll have to read the books to find out exactly how it did end. If you're like me you'll be hoping maybe we see more of Claire in the future.

Claire has been committed to the institution and her son Noah will be taken elsewhere can it get worse.

It's a Physiological Thriller so it's dark it's gripping and the stakes are high. She thought she'd escaped to start a new life but the old one has followed her, secrets from the past are haunting her and did it turn out well can't tell you as that would ruin the read obviously. But this is well written and definitely worth while getting.

Is not too long it's not long winded its a good read and well worth getting. I definitely recommend it.

This is the follow up to If I Forget but can certainly be read as a standalone with the way it's written! I was captivated and anxious for Claire and to know more throughout the entire story. It's scary how those in power can pull strings, and you never know if the underdog is going to make it out. You're rooting for Claire the whole time, while also questioning who around her really is trustworthy and who is secretly working for Calder. Definitely a riveting read!

This is a twisty psychological thriller. I say twisty because Claire’s mind just keeps running and running, seeing things that may or may not have happened. She saves her son Noah, they move away, but they are found again and everything is starting again. It was kind of sad how 7 year old Noah picked up on her cues and responded to what just looked like odd quirks. He shouldn’t have to do that at his age. All of the oddities that Claire noticed add up and she just seems to be spiralling. I did like all of the twists and suspicions as Liz Sinclair took us through the story.

Six weeks of peace and quiet has all that Claire got before the Watch is back again in her life, or have they ever go away? She thought they did but she was really mistaken, her son is taken away again, this time he’s in a foster home where he’s being conditioned to forget his life and become someone else, and she has been committed to a mental institution.
She needs to think hard and develop a plan to beat the Watch once and for all, because this time she doesn’t just want to disappear and start anew somewhere else, she wants to destroy them forever.

I read this as an ARC and this is my review. Claire and her son Noah had escaped The Watch. They didn't. When they are caught again, Claire is shut in a psychiatric hospital and Noah is in a foster home. A well-written story, great characters, twists to boggle your mind. Fast paced with a well-developed story. (For best understanding read the preceding book Highly recommend you find more books by Liz Sinclair, it helps}.

This is a really enjoyable book! It has a very original storyline that keeps you guessing all throughout. I personally liked that it kept me in suspense, but it also had a tender element about it that brought on some heartfelt emotions. This is the first book I have read by Liz Sinclair, but it won't be the last.

Original storyline that was well written following Claire Whitlock. This is the third installment in the series. The character development is amazing and has been consistent throughout the series which is well done. It keeps the suspense level throughout. It’s an enjoyable read.

This book had me so anxious I almost put it down. I wasn't sure if Claire was paranoid schizophrenic or if her fears were valid. If valid, how do you beat the government? What a ride this book was. It felt slow and intense but deep and twisty. Who can you actually trust besides yourself?

This was my first time reading this author, and I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. Overall, it was a decent read, though it took me a while to really get invested in the story. Once it picked up, I enjoyed parts of it, but it didn’t completely wow me. Only 2.5 stars.
