This fun and imaginative book shows that wearing a hearing aid can be a pleasant experience. This humorous depiction of hearing, before and after hearing aids, makes it a best seller with children and Audiologists.
This book is about a boy who needs to get a hearing aid. I liked the message in this book a lot, but it was told through a series of multiple-choice questions on every page, which got annoying.
My main problem with this book is the format. Every page has a multiple choice question on it to get you to guess what happened next before being told what happened. It was extremely tedious to read one or two lines, read through a page-long multiple choice question, then read one or two more lines and a page-long multiple choice question. It became hard to follow along the story. The idea of multiple choice questions is cute, but the book left me wishing there was more story in-between.
