The action and bloodshed were at a glorious high in this episode of Angel 6.0 - the story flew by, and I'm completely absorbed in Angel's saga! I'm practically foaming at the mouth in anticipation of the next installment of this series!

Angel 6.0: Escape is a bloody erotic adventure. A modern day Barbarella filled with adventure, steamy sex and scifi intrigue. The action is more intense than book 1 as is the very real danger that Angel finds herself in. Without spoiling anything, there's an event that happens in #2 that left me gutted. I was a complete wreck and wanted to rage at the at the author. But that helped me realize something: In a very short time, I've become emotionally invested in these characters. That's the sign of a well-written book and a very talented writer.

I thoroughly enjoyed #1 but #2 is better in every way. The story is more interesting and complex than ever and I can't wait for the next installment.

Travis Luedke's unique style of writing always seems to catch me, captivate me and completely leave me wanting more. His Angel 6.0 space opera romance has me addicted. I cannot wait for more of the story.
I am absolutely loving the way this series is written. Because it is told in short segments, I am able to read each episode in a single sitting without breaking away from the storyline. Not that I am sure it would be possible with the extreme intensity of it all and the constant twists and turns with each page. I never know where we are going to end up and when each segment ends, I am definitely hooked and waiting for the next one. Travis has never disappointed me. Angel 6.0: Escape is no exception.
So as much as I am loving the way this series is written, I am also struggling with it, because I want more and I don't want to wait for it. Yup, my upside is also my downside. Thankfully Travis is not leaving a long wait in between. So even my drawback to this unique way to tell a story even has a bright side.
Angel 6.0: Escape is the continuing live of Angel and oh my, she's like a cat with her 9 lives. Now I realize comparing her to a cat is a dangerous thing in this series, but how she manages to live through so much is just remarkable. I seem to have a lot of compassion for this character. Though I think she falls in love quickly given her situations, this time she has vowed not to. If her heart gets involved, people tend to die. Of course, I think people (or creatures... or drones... or whatever being they happen to be) are going to die no matter what in this series. She manages to survive into the next chapter of the story.
Once again I am lost in the world that Travis has created. New characters have come into play in this story making things in a crazy world or worlds, even more dark and dangerous. The Gran isn't just going to let it go... this, she, is too important to them. Can she truly escape their world or will this be a battle she will face for the rest of her life? I am constantly wondering where Travis is going with this series, but for me that means he is doing a fantastic job with this adventure, because I have no idea what to expect next, but I can't stop wanting more.
This book is not only well written, but it is such a unique tale that has more twist sand turns than Lombard Street in San Francisco and I have no idea where it will end up!

'Angel 6.0: Escape' starts just after 'Angel 6.0: Concubine' finished, so I do suggest you read 'Concubine' first. You wont be dissapointed!

WOW what can I say??? I was sucked into the world of Angel, The Gran, human clones, war, pirates.... I love the way Travis has thought this through, Angel's life is dark, twisted, absolutely f*#@ed up. I am HOOKED, left craving more! I love the size of novella, but I hate getting to the end so fast & the wait in between the next part, although the wait isn't too long, it's still a wait. This little reading pleasure, Travis weaves a spell full of darkness, angst, twists & turns, pulling you inside within the first sentence, until the last word. Please get book 3 out soon, I'll have withdrawals soon.

Part 2 in the Angel 6.0 Concubine leaves off.

Angel and Jason are still being held captive and the Captain of the Gran is using Angel for his own kinky party. That all changes when the ship is air jacked. Angel and Jason fight for their lives, trying to escape the Gran. It's through this that Jason realizes that Angel isn't all she said she was. There is something more to her. But what? Can Angel keep them both safe and get them off the ship? Their new captors soon realize the necklace Angel is wearing is also a locator for the Gran. But can they risk taking it off? Can Angel trust her new captors?

I like this novella, it has action, romance, and tenderness. I'm looking forward to the next installment to this story. To see where Angel goes and what happens to her.

I very much enjoyed this book. I was pleased to see there was a lot more action and the sexy scenes were great! The story line flows perfectly, and the characters mesh well. The gran are interesting, beastly creatures with a huge appetite for power and aggression. It is episode 2 of a series and I can't wait to see what the next episode has in store!

This second book was so much more intense than the first. The story flows so well...in what feels like no time, your on the last page and begging for more!! Travis has this way of turing on the lust and having the story seeping with emotions with every turn of the page. From the highs of extasy to the chills of fear, you take this journey with baited breath and wet panties...becuase...OH.MY.GOD...does he weave such an incredible story that you dont want to ESCAPE!

Oh Angel!! *sigh* I am totally girl-crushing on her! She is kick-ass and totally smoking hot...I mean fierce and sexy, she just radiates it off the pages. You can't help but become entranced by her beauty and seductive nature, but beneath it all is this strong and powerful woman. She makes the best of the situations she is thrown into, and will fight for what she feels she should. Her freedom may be what she craves, but there is an underlying desire for love and acceptance. Her desires may have dark undercurrents (since she gets off on pain) but ultimately she loves the high of release and the bond she feels with the criminal and captain (even if she is a prisioner).

Despite the lust and highs of release, there are twists and turns that keep you on your toes...and even moments your tears will hit the pages as you read through blurry eyes to find out what happens next! Sensory extasy from the waves of bliss that flow from this story are amazing...I completely recommend this series and this book to anyone looking for some hot, sexy, sci-fi, erotic, romance, with thrills and chills...because this series has it all! #TeamAngel #Escape #Pain #EroticSciFi #MUSTRead #oneclick #fivestars

This stepped it up and I am going 4.5 stars for this second entry in the tale of Angel and her adventures across the galaxy. Once again I was pulled into the story right from the start. The story is progressing and giving us more situations that Angel has to deal with. She grows during her journey, though she remains somewhat childlike in her thinking you can see the analytical side of her too. The new characters are somewhat interesting but could use a little more chance to be fleshed out.

Angel has settled into life on the Gran ship and is happy as long as she has Jason, the other prisoner who has a personality worth dealing with. Though she is being used by the Captain on the ship, it is not so bad because he knows what she is. She worries she will lose Jason if and when he finds out.

Jason said they would be rescued and he was right, in a way. When the rescue comes things do not go to plan for the rescuers and they find themselves with a passenger that they had not planned on. Once again Angel finds herself among strangers who hold her life in their hands. The things is, does she even want to continue on.

The story deepens and Angel is still evolving and becoming more complex. The heat level drops a little but only because our girl is dealing with some issues that keep coming back to plague her. If there were not some complications it would not be nearly so worth reading.

Once again I highly recommend!

I have long said that I love a strong independent woman in my literature and Angel 6.0 isn’t really that.  She has all the physical attributes of being strong yet emotionally she isn’t.

“Yet again I had pinned my world on the life of another.  Now I was lost with the loss of him.”  

Luedke could have done so much with her but he made her into a weak-willed woman who needs a man to be complete.  Oh, and she is a bit of a nympho.  The nympho part is fun to read however I am not too keen on her neediness.  

“…I had focused my life, energy, and attention on another human being…..A man who would probably die when I needed him most.”

The action sequence in the story was cool and Angel can be downright kickass.  Her grasping on to any man to complete her and not realizing her self-worth was driving me batty.  Hopefully, that is rectified in future stories.

Angel 6.0: Escape is the second book in this Angel 6.0 Space Opera Romance. Angel and her lover Jason have been captured by the Gran. Angel served as a concubine for the Caption of the Gran in turn to save Jason's life. The Gran has no idea of what Angel is expected that she is female and therefore a breeder for their kind.

Even when she was saved by the space pirate captain, Angel is still being used even though her circumstance is better and she has a choice to refuse. Angel is still protecting her secret that she is illegally, generically engineered to perfect the human race. She has a high threshold for pain. She can fight. She is a quick-study when new information is presented to her to analyze. However, Angel is feared if the Earth Defense Council and the rest of the human race discover her secret.

The narrator, Rachel Orlin does a wonderful job in narrating the story from Angel's POV. Even though, the Gran doesn't really speak human, her narration made it believable that from time to time I could almost hear the Gran speaks in their language.

This story isn't the prude of heart. Although this story is filled with action, there are several explicit sex scenes and violence in the story. This story is for a mature audience of readers/listeners.

Angel 6.0 Escape Episode II by Travis Luedke

Angel has tried to adjust to her life as the concubine of the Cat captain and her human lover. Serving a Cat as his concubine held a lot of interesting times for Angel but it was nothing compared to the time spent with her human lover Jason. When space pirates attack the ship all hell breaks loose and Angel learns once again that she is more than a normal genome creation or human. Losing her lover in the battle that ensues when the pirates attempt rescue almost breaks her. She has a new emotion to deal with and now a new set of humans. She can’t let them find out what she is. Her existence depends on it. Now she has to deal with Cesar, the brother of her former lover Jason. Angel has to discover if she can exist with humans and survive as well as work on her sexual attraction to Cesar. Long days on a ship in space present lots of opportunities. One problem her collar from the Cats can’t be removed and it may prove fatal. The Cats can trace her. Her Cat Captain may not be willing to give up the chase of one of his most prized possessions. You have to read to find out what happens in this adventure of Angel 6.0.

Our Angel is back for round two and this one is just as riveting as the first book. Angel is still a prisioner of the Gran Empire, but it's been a few weeks and her sexcapades with both Jason the man she is beginning to love and Cronin, the Captain of the ship she's on is wearing on her,as she moves between them. Still trying to get her pregnant, Jason doesn't know the full story of her and she is keeping her secrets and he has his as well.

With the unexpected attack on the ship she is on, the chance to escape arrives and she takes it, unfortunately things don't go as planned and she loses Jason. she then discovers the ship she's on now belongs to Jason's brother who was attempting to get him back, along with all the other secrets Jason didn't tell her when he was alive.

Unfortunately as she begins to feel something for the brother, everything goes crazy and it looks like her old cat lover may be back in the picture.

This book flew by and was in a state of WOW, need next episode NOW!!
Who knew space age, futuristic sex could be so addicting. Now it's a case of hurry up Travis Luedke and write faster. Totally loved it.

We find Angel captured by The Gran, a warrior cat race, and a prisoner on their ship. She has lost everything she knew and loved. The Captain has learned of her abilities and wants her to mate with her cellmate in order to have stronger slaves. His demands of sexual satisfaction have become worse and she fears that her cellmate will find out what she is and what she has to do for both of them to survive. Just thinking of losing someone she loves again leave her afraid to tell him. He finally tells her who he is and that he has a plan for them to escape. Will they succeed? If you love sci-fi, kick-ass beautiful sensual, sexy has hell women, as well as great slice and dice action you've got to get this book. If you haven't read the first one, go get them both RIGHT NOW cause you'll have to be ready for the next one. Travis loves to write about strong sexy women who aren't afraid to kick a guy where it hurts and then he throws them into a sci-fi or paranormal environment well you best get ready to get your adrenaline going.

As usual, this author takes us on a steamy, dark, twisting journey of a read. This second book of Angel’s sci-fi space odyssey starts exactly where #1 ended, and doesn’t slow down for a break. If anything, book #2 is steamier and more action-packed than the first book. A captivating, thrilling sci-fi erotic fantasy!
Angel goes from a prisoner/concubine of the aggressive, warlike Cats race to being rescued/taken prisoner by human pirates, with a major twist thrown in!! The author keeps the reader constantly thinking they know what will be coming next, only to be surprised by where the characters actually end up.
As with all of his other books, Travis Luedke fills the readers’ senses with steamy, sensual and sometimes downright raunchy sexual tension. This is definitely another hit for the author and leaves us waiting for book #3.

So it started off with a bang!! Bang bang bang bang!! Maybe not all those bangs(& Im not talking about the sexy bangs) but we go into this story with the two main characters fighting for their lives and freedom. I cannot go into this without revealing spoilers so I'll say this, it's sad BUT I felt it was necessary because you see Angel's character develop and you can start to see emotions surface. While she has lost, she also gains but from what I can tell it's all about to be short lived. The Gran won't let Angel go. Will Angel ever be free? I want her to be, especially after EVERYTHING she's been through... Guess we'll have to wait & see!!

This is the second installment in Angel 6.0. She is captured and is used to "breed" to make more of her kind with Jason. After reading the first installment the reading style become easier to adjust. I felt she showed little emotion she has the rational mind like a person that have not received much interaction with people. I actually felt really bad for Angel when her world turned upside down again making her adjust yet again. The sex with The Gran was different however it was interesting to read about. Cat pheromones lol. I am actually looking forward to the next installment. Gah the wait.

Angel isn't human but her creater gave her all the emotions that humans have. She is taken by the Gran and used as a sex slave and a breeder. When she is rescued she still keeps her secret that she isn't human because she don't want to loose the friends she has made. Cesar is her lovers brother and they look so much alike she has a hard time telling them apart. Did she escape the Gran only to be kept a slave and treated less human than she wants. This is a great book and a must read series. Travis is an awsome author and he puts his own unique twist on every series he writes.

All I can say is roll on #3!

I read this in one setting so gripped was I by the story.

The writing flows beautifully and there is not a scene that isn't integral to the plot. Each one keeps the story going, whether it be an action or a sex scene.

I cried towards the end, so invested have I become in Angel and her happiness.

And damn, cliffhanger endings make me impatient!!

Not for the faint of heart - some of the action scenes are on the gory side.

While I haven't read the first episode it is easy to pick up Angel in Gran custody along with a human male. The Captain of the battle-cruiser is using Angel in a breeding program and as his own sex slave.Jason the human male has fallen in love with her and at the same time is angry that she goes with the Captain. Jason is expecting a rescue at anytime but won't explain what he was doing while he was captured.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review and am I glad that I found this Author. I look forward to the next episode.

I received this book for free for an honest review. Sensual tension is thy name. Following along with the story line, the main character has escaped her captivity at the cost of her lover. She runs the gamut of emotions and falls for her lover's brother who is an upgrade in the sex department. Too bad they get caught at the end and have to negotiate for their lives. Impatiently waiting for the next arc in the story. Does Angel get to stay with Cesar or will she be subjected to the Captain's special sex that she has become addicted to? Stay tuned!

I loved this book!! I have become so invested in Angel and want her to find happiness. There were times I wanted to cry for the things Angel had to go through at the hands of the Gran.

This book is steamier than book 1 but it is so well written and flows from scene to scene that you feel like you are part of story.

I read this book straight through it was so captivating! Travis has once again delivered a book to us that is great. The cliffhanger at the end had me wanting throw something..lol..

I know I don't have much to say in this review, but here it is. Angel gives me the impression of someone trying to find love. She's found it in the wrong places and wants it desperately. But she is nowhere near a damsel in distress. She can hold her own in a fight, having ripped apart Gran warriors with their own weapon time and time again. I've enjoyed these two books in the series so far and I'm excited to see what Travis produces with this series, along with Nightlife. I honestly cannot say what I anticipate more from him.

The is the second book the the paranormal sci-fi series about Angel. Is this book Angel is the concubine for the alien commander of the ship. The aliens are cat like beings that walk as humans do. Her relationship with the commander is very unusual. He also is trying to breed her with the only human male on the ship. A male who is a prisoner. Her love she now has for the human will make her do anything for him. But she must hide what she really is form everyone.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. However in all fairness to this extremely talented author I also intend to purchase a copy as I did with the first installment, angel 6.0 Concubine.

This story picks up where the first left off. If you intend to read this series you need to read it from the beginning. It's smart, sexy, science fiction. You will not be disappointed but beware if you are looking for your run of the mill romance, this isn't it.

After Angel gets captured by the Gran, is forced in to a jail cell to 'breed' with Jason, and becomes the concubine of the captain of the ship, her life just keeps getting thrown for a loop.

Angels life as a concubine is not what she wanted but at the same time it is not like she does not enjoy it either. It saves the lives of her and her human love, Jason. Though he does not like that she is always gone, he loves it more when she returns to the cage to be with him.

An attack on the ship shows Jason what she really is when she fights for her life against some of the worker drones that are also slaves on the Gran ship. After she escapes from the cell, it just gets worse as men board the ship and start attacking everything and anything in their path and unfortunately that includes her lover Jason.

Once the massacre has ended, and Angel finds out that the men were there to rescue Jason, she escapes the Gran ship by going with them to theirs. For weeks she is just another body on the ship, wanting to die with no means to do so, until Jason's brother shows interest in her. To pass the time while waiting for a way to get back to their base, she ends up with him to try to ease the loss of Jason.

Once she accepts him for him and that he can not replace Jason, is when the next bad thing happens.

3.5 stars. The second instalment of the series has less sex, a lot more story and a fairly interesting plot with twists and turns. My main gripe is that the emotional development between Angel and her love interests is shallow at its best. However, I'm always partial to sci-fi adventures with a dash of romance, so I can't find it in me to be too critical about this book.

I was horrified by this series but had to keep reading. This poor genetically enhanced Sheltered female is put through some awful stuff. The alien cat captain was terrible and I had to put it down before I could keep reading. Cages, pain, I shudder. Well written and imaginative universe.
