Very entertaining stories from an experienced hiker
Full disclosure: Steve is a friend of mine, and we have done community theatre shows together. But although I am also an avid hiker, I have never been hiking with Steve. So it was a lot of fun to hear his many hiking stories, especially since most of the trails in our area he mentions, I have also hiked.
But even if you are not from East Tennessee, and even if you are not a hiker, you will enjoy his stories of hiking. His storytelling is honest, vulnerable, and quite funny. He uses his experiences on the trail to draw larger life lessons that can benefit almost anyone.

Great book about many trails I am familiar with and inspired me to hike many more trails. Steve, thanks for putting your heart on these pages- talking about faith, family, hiking and life.
