Rachael very kindly sent me a copy of this book, and I am absolutely SPEECHLESS!!!!!
I loved every single second, I literally couldn’t put it down.

Margot was very much giving me black widow vibes and I am obsessed with her - I love me a badass FMC, and Margot delivered.

Demitri…. What a man. Holy hell. Erm yeah, he has just sensational. He had the perfect balance of bad boy / hopeless romantic. I could read about him all day and I’ll think about him for the rest of my life.

The yearning, the tension, the slow burn, the spice, the romance, the plot, the twists🫠🫠🫠🫠 do yourself a favour and read this. You’re in for one hell of a ride.

What a devastatingly beautiful story.

Rachael, you had me hooked from the get go with this - and to think it’s your first published book? 🫣

What started as a dark mafia romance quickly became so much more. Hidden identities, family secrets, betrayal, found family, healing, and a romance that was built on trust rather than instant forgiveness. Every twist felt purposeful, and every revelation added another layer to Margot’s story.

My favourite part? Watching her reclaim herself. Find herself, after a lifetime of other people making decisions for her, seeing her choose herself before choosing love made the ending all the more beautiful.

And Demitri… 🥹 What started as enemies to lovers evolved into one of the most emotionally satisfying romances I’ve read. Their chemistry was undeniable, but it was the quiet moments, the unwavering loyalty, and the patience they showed each other that completely won me over.

The dual POV pulled me into both sides of the story, and I found myself completely invested in every chapter. I laughed, gasped, theorised, got my heart broken, and smiled through the ending.

If you’re looking for a dark mafia romance with emotional depth, incredible character development, secrets that genuinely keep you guessing, and a love story that feels earned, I can’t recommend Blood Honey enough.

As a frequent Colleen Hoover reader, going from her books to experiencing my first dark romance read, I fear I have unlocked a new favourite genre. The toxicity between the characters is spicy, but somehow still deeply emotional. I felt so connected to them, I genuinely wished they were real. If you love women who outsmart men for fun, mixed with raw emotion and constant danger, you'll absolutely love Blood Honey by Rachael Morton. I would rate this book a 4 overall, not because it's not a 5 but because I know the sequels are going to be amazing and I want there to be room for me to score higher! I was lucky enough to have already read this book, cannot wait to have the physical paperback in my hands so I can HIGHLIGHT my favourite quotes!

Omg this book was absolutely amazing, how was this your first book?!!! It's epic! I am absolutely obsessed with Margot and Dimitri's story, they are something else. My heart broke so many times and then was definitely put back together, she got to find herself and he never let her go 🥺 AMAZING. What a book!
As a new author to the game (and a lovely human) I was eager to give this a go and by gods I’m glad I did!
Bratva boss, assassin, a contract, a complication, a story waiting to be uncovered, a betrayal - it literally has it all!
Demetri has my heart right now and I don’t want him to give it back 🖤 he’s a top-tier MMC for sure.
Margot is a brilliant FMC and I warmed to her instantly because she’s a badass and keeps that up! I loved her journey and I loved her whole ending too - it was so right for her.
Overall, bloody well fabulous book! 💕
