Evie Blackwood has always felt like an outsider. The fact that her family owns the Delilah Corbett Bed & Breakfast—the creepiest tourist attraction in all of Autumnboro—may have a little something to do with it. Over-the-top theatrics may be her family’s idea of a good time, but to the rest of the town it’s nothing but a dark stain on their picture-perfect image.

When travel critic Nate Harris finds himself stranded at the B&B, Autumnboro’s chances of winning the title of New Hampshire’s Hidden Gem seem dead on arrival. But if Evie can show Nate the very best Autumnboro has to offer, they might still pull off the win—and Evie might finally bridge the gap between her eccentric life and the town she loves.

Only, Autumnboro’s been having a rough week. As Evie and Nate navigate natural disasters, angry townies, and a rivalry with neighboring Summerboro, an unlikely romance begins to unfold.

Wicked bad timing, to say the least.

With Nate being an impartial judge, and Evie determined to win this contest on Autumnboro’s charms alone, will she choose the fate of her family’s business or a happiness all her own?

Wicked Sweet Fall is book three in the series, An Autumnboro Sweet Romance by Beth Labonte. I loved the first two books in this series. The first book has been made into a Hallmark movie! When my friend told me there was a brand new book, I rushed to grab it. And oh my gosh! This was the best of the series. I loved every single crazy page of this book!

This may contain: an alley way with pumpkins on the ground and lights hanging from buildings in the background

Evie Blackwood’s family owns the Delilah Corbett Bed & Breakfast in Autumnboro, New Hampshire. Autumnboro is a quaint, small town where everything revolves around autumn. Tourists flock to their town during their favorite season. Evie’s B&B, though, does not fit this theme. Their house has a very different history, where a deranged wife took the life of her husband in a very messy way! People come from far away in the hopes of spotting a ghost or staying in the same room where “it” happened.

Evie loves her life and loves their house. But most of the town doesn’t feel the same way. They look upon them as a bit of a dark spot. And let me just toss in here that Evie’s parents are a hoot! We’ll just say that they truly LOVE what they do!

Nate Harris works for a travel magazine and has been sent to Autumnboro to secretly view the town and all their attractions in order to choose the winner of the title of New Hampshire’s Hidden Gem. It’s between Autumnboro and it’s neighbor, Summerboro. When Nate’s original reservations get mixed up, he ends up staying at Evie’s B&B which is not the impression the town hoped for Nate’s stay. Evie is determined to show Nate everything great about their town but fate is against them as the town seems to be plagued with a bunch of bad luck.

This may contain: the sun shines through the trees over an old grave yard with many headstones

As Nate and Evie spend time together, they grow closer. But Evie is determined that Autumnboro will win this award on their own merits. She doesn’t ever want there to be any question. Because they just have to win! How can she pursue her feelings for the man who holds the fate of their town in his hands?

This book was so much fun. I think I smiled all the way through it. I adored Evie and her family. And I also loved that after Nate got over his initial shock at where he would be staying, he really saw Evie and what she was doing, at what they had built. This most definitely was not what he expected to be walking in to but he just went with it.

I could not turn these pages fast enough. You can definitely read this as a stand alone. It’s just one of those books that brightens up your day. I will most definitely remember this one for a long time.

This was the third book in the Autumnboro series by Beth Labonte. This tale is about Evie Blackwood and her family’s creepy Bed & Breakfast. They’ve been blackballed by the town because it didn’t win a contest in On The Map travel guide. They’re up for it again this year, but everything that could go wrong is happening and they might be at fault again. Can Evie help turn things around? And could the handsome travel judge become her happy place? It was such an enjoyable read.

this is the third book from the autumnboro series. i read the first two a while ago and enjoyed both of those, so i was happy to see another book come out from the same series. since the series is an autumn themed one, i wanted to wait until then to read it. while right now it is still very warm and summerlike here and might still be a tad bit early, it is september and i decided i might as well read it since i already started doing fall fun stuff like going apple picking and to a cidery last weekend.

this book is about evie blackwood and her family's creepy bed and breakfast. known for their crazy theatrics, while they do still draw plenty of people to visit, most of the rest of the town think it kind of blemishes their perfect idyllic little town. when kit, who we met in the earlier books, realized there was an overbooking issue at his inn, he sends a guy over to them in hopes that they might have some vacancies. little did he know this was also the travel critic, nate, who was visiting and checking out their town since it was competing to win a spot of being featured by his company. so when evie realized who he was, she immediately became determined to help him see how great autumnboro was and that it deserved to be recognized. of course it was not easy to just do that with several naural disasters and competitive neighboring townspeople who also want to be featured interfering. and to make matters worse, there was definitely a strong attraction between evie and nate so then she worried that things will look suspicious if anything were to happen between them and autumnboro won. thankfully that whole issue becomes a non-issue and after some more drama of course things have to end happily otherwise what kind of HEA romance would this be?

since this was a very short book not much else really happened but i still enjoyed it. the only reason it took me more than one day to read it is because i went to a baseball game with a few friends and did not have much reading time. i definitely liked the other books from this series better, but it was a cute quick read and worth reading.

Evie wants to fit into the posh, autumn-themed businesses in Autumnboro, but her family’s inn isn’t exactly along those lines. Instead, it appeals to outlandish true-crime hunters and horror story fanatics.

Nate has had quite a day after his reservation at the sweet little inn gets moved, and now he finds himself at the creepy Gothic Victorian inn instead. He is a mess, but the stormy weather is perfect for the setting. But is who Nate really is, and who everyone thinks he is, actually the truth? And if it is, what does that mean for this spooky B&B?

This book is quirky and perfectly in season with it being October. I love all the banter and the spooky, absurd things that are mentioned throughout the story. The B&B is more like a haunted house, but it is so much fun. The house and all the antics are delightfully macabre, and it really gets you in the mood for the season. If you love all things extra special and over the top, you’ll love this book.

Every new chapter is more zany than the last, and this isn’t presenting autumn weather in all its cozy glory. It’s more like frightful bits before winter comes. As the attraction between Evie and Nate grows and the town rivalry heats up, we get a bit more of a forbidden romance added to the story. Personally, I’m loving Evie and Nate together, and that mini golf scene was comedic genius.

This story ends sweetly and perfectly on brand with the rest of the book, which I loved. I also really appreciated the maturity of the characters. It’s swoony, it’s clean, and it’s perfect for an autumn romance.

I was smiling and kicking my feet through all the mayhem and laughter in this story. It was such a refreshing, lighthearted read. The romance isn’t the entire storyline, but it’s woven throughout, and I loved every minute of this book.

I may have binged it a little because I read the entire thing in less than 24 hours.

🍂✨ WICKED SWEET FALL by Beth Labonte ✨🍂

Okay… THIS BOOK. 😭🍁

I went into this expecting a cute, cosy autumn romance… and somehow Beth Labonte had me laughing, swooning, emotionally invested and completely unwilling to put it down! 🥹❤️

The autumn vibes were EVERYTHING. 🍂🎃☕ Give me crisp leaves, cosy moments, romance and characters I can’t help but fall in love with and I am SOLD!

And the romance?! 👀🔥 The chemistry, the tension, the little moments… I was absolutely GONE.

There’s just something about a book that makes you feel like you’ve stepped right into the story, and this one did exactly that. I wanted to live in this little autumn world and honestly wasn’t ready to leave it. 😭🍁

It was sweet, funny, cosy, romantic and had ALL the feels. The kind of book that leaves you with that ridiculously happy feeling when you reach the end. 🥰

If you’re looking for your next cosy autumn romance… ADD THIS TO YOUR TBR! 🍂📚

4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Since I read the first two books in this series I was excited to see this one was released during my 3 free months of kindle unlimited. It was a really cute book. Just what I was looking for to get me in the mood for the fall season. I loved both Evie and Nate! If you enjoy an easy read that just makes you smile then I recommend picking up this series this Fall. The first book (Pumpkin Everything) is still my favorite one. I was excited to see that it was made into a Hallmark movie in 2022, I have it set to record and can’t wait to watch it. 🎃👻 🍁

I randomly picked this up after reading the first two books a while ago, and I was pleasantly surprised! This turned away from the stereotypical fall vibe of the other two (which isn’t normally my thing—I don’t love scary, gory Halloween), but this was so fun! I loved that Evie embraced both the scary and the historical sides of the Corbett family. I also really enjoyed her and Nate’s romance. These are such fun, quick books to get you in the fall mood!

This was a cute read! It had a different vibe from the first two books, but I didn’t think that was a bad thing. I still enjoyed the extremely slow burn romance, and of course, all of the antics from the busybody townspeople kept things fun and entertaining.

Overall, I enjoyed this one and getting to spend more time in this little town. It was a fun, cozy fall read, and I would read more in this series if there is more to come.

4⭐️ I’d forgotten about this series and during my efforts to finish my ‘unfinished series’ list, I rediscovered it and omg, this is the best book of them all! It packs such a punch in only 200 pages - I couldn’t put it down! I didn’t love the single POV, would have preferred some of Nate’s thoughts and input because I feel like I barely know him. But Evie is a delight. Beth’s writing style is wonderful, so funny and captivating. A lovely way to start the autumn/fall TBR! 🍂

Wicked Sweet Fall was such a cute, fun, and quick fall/spooky read! 🍂👻

I really enjoyed Evie and Nate and loved watching their relationship unfold. The small-town drama, humor, and cozy autumn vibes made this such an entertaining read.

A sweet, lighthearted romance and a great addition to the An Autumnboro Sweet Romance series. Definitely worth picking up if you’re looking for a fun fall read!

Though Wicked Sweet Fall isn't as in-depth as the previous two, it's still a good addition to the series and completely worth the read. I laughed out loud more than a few times during the quick read.

Another cute and cosy seasonal romance from this author. I don't usually enjoy this genre, but her books have the right balance of sweet romance and humour for me. I loved that this one has more of a spooky autumn feel than a pumpkin spice autumn feel!
